The influx of the apartment housing culture have passed thirty years, but it has been pricipally developed that in terms of the urban's residents. There is very important problem when we think about the improvement of housing's life of dwellers in rural. Therefore, as increased demand of apartment housing and dweller's needs in rural we think that there is worth studing to the residents of rural's apartment housings. The purpose of this study is to understand the housing in rural, to discriminate between rural's and urban's apartment housing plan and to adapt to basic data to satisfy request of rural apartment housing's residents according to the family composition.

The purpose of this study is to improve design method for renovating an environmental friendly residential space where nature and humans could coexist. In the present study, five deteriorated multi-family housing complexes have been selected and one hundred and thirty eight dwellers have been asked about ecological important factors through the questionnaire. This study presents the adaptable solutions, such as are the enlargement of unit space or area, the renovation of facade, the functional change for dwellings on the ground level, the open piping of circulation systems, the expansion of community facilities(include greenarea), the build up of spatial hierarchy and the housing development set reuse planning forth as a premise, for the aspects of dwelling unit, building block and site planning.

우리나라 주택유형 가운데 대부분을 차지하는 공동주택은 급격한 도시화가 진행됐던 과거, 공급위주에서 소비물량의 한계에 직면하며 수요중심으로 전환되었다. 따라서 주택품질에 대한 소비자의 요구도는 다양화 다변화되고 있으며, 이를 충족시키기 위해서는 건설단계에부터 하자 예방을 위한 효율적이고 체계적인 품질관리가 요구된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공동주택 하자의 효율적이고 체계적인 관리를 위해 최근 5년 이내 입주가 완료된 공동주택 사례를 대상으로 발생빈도 및 하자보수 손실비용 분석과 거주자 만족도조사를 실시하여 보정 및 수치화에 의한 정량적 공동주택 하자 위험성 평가표를 구축 제시하였다.

This study is analyzed comparison about the component ratio of dwelling space in the existing plan and residents dwelling needs. Also, it is analyzed the residence factors of area component change that residence satisfaction and importance according to the behavioral patterns of residents. The results are as follows. 1) Total area component ratio of the existing plan was 39.5:40.8:19.7% and dwelling consciousness one was 36.4:44.0:19.6%. Compared private space with public space, public area requested increase rather than private area. 2) In the 17, 19pyung-types dwellers are not happy about dining kitchen and utility room and types of 21, 23pyung-types are dissatisfied in room-2 and room-3, living room and dining kitchen are dissatisfied, too. In case of areas over 25pyung-types are dissatisfied in room-3 and room-4. 3) The behavioral patterns of apartment residents were classified six acts, and the most significant factors are appeared associated the acts of ceremony, relation of neighborship, and reception. The next significant factors are appeared associated the acts of family relation, about food life. So, it is concerned with the scale of public room.

The main objective of research is to present research outcomes in relation to the development of small size housings for 1 to 2 person households that have been increasing at a rapid pace due to many socio-economic factors. The method of this research was used by questionnaires. The effective numbers of survey questionnaire was 215, and the survey analysis has been made by using of SPSS win 12.0. The conclusions drawn from the research can be summarized as follows: 1) 1 to 2 person households can be typified by nine key characteristics according to the questionnaire designed to explore lifestyles and demands for new housing types. The nine lifestyles include information seeking urban dwellers, well-being oriented, practical trend followers, urban culture lovers, brand lovers, active listeners, easy life seekers, self-centered, and heavy consumers. 2) Occupants may need less space than they anticipate when more user-friendly and space conscious products and services are implemented. 3) There is a great potential market for small size housings if more convenient features and services are provided.

Present family pattern of Korean society has been changed into nuclear family pattern based on the married couple from traditional expanded family pattern. As the entire social consciousness has been changed into private disposition, the number of independent household for 1 person has increases. Also, as the delivery age of first child became late according to the elongation of average period for the national education, the increment of average age for the first marriage and women's participation in the society, the family pattern of married couple lasts longer than used to be. Like this, considering the family formed period comprised from a household for 1 person to a household for 1married couple and senescence increase, as any response is inevitable for the requirement of residential space where 1~2 dwellers' life can be accepted economic and functionally within smaller scaled space, development and research on a plan system(flexible-typed plan) increasing the degree of freedom is required in developing plan of unit household. In the study for this, considering the change of population and social structure, I suggest the method in developing economic design responding to the differentiation, designing the change of support-system and infill-system based on the systemic comprehension about the residing environment in the family formation period and the research for main life pattern and residing environment in the family formation period in the present city life. I will set (family) composing system, develop basic and mixing typed standard model and establish the stage of applied development for the development of economic design.
