대형디젤엔진의 오염물질 배출특성 (Characteristics of Exhaust Emissions from a Heavy-duty Diesel Engine)

  • The proportion of diesel vehicle is very high in this country . PM and NOx emitted from diesel-posered vehicle is severely ;affecting to be air quality . Especially, diesel particulate matters(DPM) including black smoke are hazardous air pollutants to human health and environment. In order to reduce the exhaust emissions from diesel engines, it is necessary to analyze the characteristics of exhaust emissions from diesel engines in various driving conditions. Recently, there are occasion to increase the fuel consumption rate to engine power up. So, in this study we have tested a diesel engine detached from in use -diesel vehicle and analyzed exhaust emission by driving condition and fuel dispersion rate. From this results, we will prepare the comprehensive management plan for exhaust emissions from diesel vehicles and contribute to the improvement of air pollution in urban area.

Multi-coded Variable PPM for High Data Rate Visible Light Communications

  • In this paper, we propose a new modulation scheme called multi-coded variable pulse position modulation (MC-VPPM) for visible light communication systems. Two groups of signals (Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and Pulse Position Modulation (PPM) groups) are multi-coded by orthogonal codes for transmitting data simultaneously. Then, each multi-level value of the multi-coded signal is converted to pulse width and position which results in not only an improved data rate, but also a processing gain in reception. In addition, we introduce average duty ratio and cyclic shift concepts in PWM through which dimming control for light illumination can be supported without any degradation in communication performance. Through simulation, we confirm that the proposed MC-VPPM shows a comparable BER curve and much greater achievable data rate than the conventional VPPM scheme using a visible light optical channel environment.

  • An anti-dumping has become the trade policy of choice for developing countries as well as advanced countries, hence it is the impending issue to the export-oriented countries including Korea. After colligating the analysis on the trade and industrial policy between Korea and China as well as the analysis on the preceding research, the main reasons of anti-dumping were selected as followings; an unemployment rate, real GDP growth rate and consumer price increase as internal factors, and trade balance, regional coefficient and trade specification index as external factors. Then, the research on how the above seven variable factors can affect the number of anti-dumping measures was accomplished. For the empirical analysis, the above information was used after reorganizing them by on the quarterly basis. Through the use of the correlation analysis, backward elimination of multiple regression analysis model and time-series analysis, it has appeared that the unemployment rate appeared to be the most important factors of anti-dumping measures in addition to the increase rate of trade balance. The variable such as the unemployment rate is uncontrollable for us, so it is appropriate to establish and operate an preemptive monitoring system based on the increasing rate of the amount of export and increasing rate of trade surplus.

디젤엔진의 질소산화물 저감을 위한 Urea SCR 시스템 특성 분석 (II) (Characterization of SCR System for NOx Reduction of Diesel Engine (II))

  • The Effect of Space Velocity(SV) on NOx conversion rate was performed to develop NOx reduction after-treatment system. SV is calculated from engine exhaust gas volume and SCR catalyst volume. Found the Urea injection duty of maximum efficiency for NOx conversion if increase SV, NOx Conversion rate is down. Especially, when SV is more than $110,000h^{-1}$, NOx conversion rate decrease suddenly. Same case, if SV is lower than $40,000h^{-1}$, NOx conversion rate is down. Also, the characterization of Urea-SCR system was performed. Three candidate injectors for injecting Urea were tested in terms of 속 injection rate and NOx reduction rate. The performances of SCR catalytic converter on temperature were investigated. The performance of Urea-SCR system was estimated in the NEDC test cycle with and without EGR. It was found that nozzle type injector had high NOx conversion rate. SCR catalytic converter had the highest efficiency at the temperature of $350^{\circ}C$. EGR+Urea-SCR system achieved NOx reduction efficiency of 73% through the NEDC test cycle.

간섭부하 개념을 이용한 주파수 공동사용 기술의 성능비교 및 검증 (Performance Comparison and Its Verification of Spectrum Sharing Technologies Using Interference Load Concept)

  • 본 논문에서는 비면허 대역 무선기기에 사용되는 주파수 공동사용 기술의 성능을 비교 분석할 수 있는 간섭부하 개념을 제안하였다. 간섭부하 개념은 다양한 주파수 공동사용 기술, 즉 주파수 호핑(FH: Frequency Hopping), 듀티 사이클(DC: Duty Cycle), 송신전 감지 기술을 사용하는 무선기기가 타 무선기기에 간섭을 주는 정도를 정량적으로 비교할 수 있다. 따라서 주파수 공동사용 기술기준이 일관되고 합리적으로 제정되었는지 평가하는데 도움을 줄 수 있다. 제안한 개념을 검증하기 위하여 다양한 2.4 GHz 대역의 무선기기의 주파수 공동사용 성능을 비교분석하였다. 또한, 실시간 테스트베드를 구축하고, FH과 DC의 경우, 기술기준에 따른 비트 오류 확률을 비교실험하였다. 실험 결과, 10개 채널을 FH하는 것과 10 % DC이 동일한 오류 확률을 가짐을 확인함으로써 본 논문에서 제안한 개념의 타당성을 확인하였다.

드럼세탁기의 세척성 향상을 위한 인공 오염포의 세탁조건에 따른 세척성 (Optimum Washing Conditions of Artificially Soiled Cloths in a Drum-Type Washing Machine)

  • Nowadays, Korean consumers prefer drum-type washing machines to pulsator-type washers. Washing is a complex process involving the interaction of numerous physical and chemical influences. The main factors in the washing operations are the washing chemistry of the detergent along with the mechanical input, the wash temperature, and the time provided by the washing machine. Heavy-duty detergents that are used in drum-type washing machines contain different components from those used in vertical-axis washing machines. The bath ratio and the mechanical actions to which laundry is subjected are different between the drum-type and the vertical-axis washing machines. In this study we examined the effects of wash temperature, wash time, detergent concentration, and revolution speed on the removal of soils from artificially soiled cloths in a drum-type washing machine with heavy-duty commercial detergent. We used multiple regression analyses to find the relative importance of the factors and the optimum washing conditions. The results of these experiments showed that the washing temperature was the most important factor in the effective removal of most soils. This was followed by the washing time, the detergent concentration, and finally the revolution speed. In this study it was found that superfluous amounts of detergent did not sufficiently increase the soil removal rate. Koreans who are used to washing with cold water should increase the wash time to launder more efficiently.

학교 영양교육 수행 현황 및 영양교사 직무 비중 변화 인식 (Investigation of Status of School Nutrition Education and Changes in Perception of Nutrition Teacher's Job)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of school nutrition education and changes in perception of nutrition teacher's job in order to determine the need for redesign to achieve their ideal job. The questionnaire was distributed to 1,550 nutrition teachers, and a total of 1,487 usable data were collected with a 96% response rate from August to December 2015. Statistical data analysis was completed by using SPSS/Win 21.0 for descriptive analysis. The results were as follows: 45.5% of nutrition teachers periodically implemented nutrition education classes, and 32.7% of responses used creative activity times for nutrition and dietary life education. Various topics were taught such as strategies to improve dietary habits, choice of healthy foods and nutrition labeling, nutrition information, food safety, and environmental problems, etc. Current performance ratios of nutrition teacher's duties and tasks were as follows: nutrition operation 31.3%, foodservice hygiene and safety 28.0%, nutrition management 22.7%, nutrition and dietary life education and counselling 11.6%, and professional development 6.4%. Opinions about ideal job performance of nutrition teachers were investigated to determine needs for job redesign. Two in nutrition management duty tasks and four foodservice management duties duty tasks were reduced. On the other hand, another two nutrition management duty tasks and three nutrition and dietary life education and counselling tasks were increased compared to current job performance.

인체 채널에서 전자기파 전송 지연 특성을 고려한 다중 매체 제어 프로토콜 설계 (Transmission Latency-Aware MAC Protocol Design for Intra-Body Communications)

  • 인체 통신은 인체를 매질로 통신하는 기술로, BAN (Body-Area Network) 환경에서, 무선 통신에 비해 신호 감쇠 측면에서 큰 이점이 있어 배터리로 동작하는 웨어러블 기기 간 통신 시 저전력 통신을 지원할 수 있다. 하지만, 인체 통신은 그 이점에 비해 안전성 등의 문제가 있어 채널 특성에 대한 연구가 미비하였다. 이에 본 논문은 인체 채널 특성에 있어 통신 성능에 영향을 주는 MAC 파라미터를 제시하고, 이를 이용한 새로운 인체 통신 용 MAC 프로토콜을 제안하고, 또한, 각기 다른 가드 인터벌을 설정하여 성능을 분석하였다. 결과로, IEEE 802.15.6 표준 기반 Slotted aloha 프로토콜에 비해 약 300kbps의 Goodput 이득을 가졌으며, Duty cycle 또한 약 7.07%로, 표준의 최소 duty cycle이 약 5%이지만, Goodput을 고려했을 때, 인정할 수 있는 성능이라 볼 수 있다.

간접 분사적 소형 diesel engine의 소음저감에 관한 실험적 연구 (An experimental study on noise reduction of light duty idi diesel engine)

  • 중대형 상용차에 널리 사용되어온 디젤엔진은 오일 쇼크 이후로 소형 상용차에까지 널리 탑재되고 있는 세계적인 추세이다. 디젤엔진은 높은 연소 압력 및 압력 상승율(Rate of Pressure Rice)로 운전되기 때문에 연소소음(Combustion Noise) 및 기계소음(Mechanical Noise)이 매우 크다. 차량 개발 개념에 있어 소음제어는 법적 규제와 소비자의 요구수준을 만족시키는 측면에서 고려되어야 한다. 차량 전체 소음에서 엔진 소음의 기여도는 약 40-50%정도이며 당연히 엔진소음 저감 대책의 필요성은 높다. 본고에서는 2.4리터 간접 분사식(IDI)디젤 엔진의 소음 저감을 위한 소음 저감 대책을 기술한다.

Suggestion for method to improve power consumption of the ZigBee RF4CE platform

  • This paper proposes a method for reducing the amount of current consumption by the transceiver based remote control and the ZigBee RF4CE network layer step. We have studied how to improve power efficiency at short transition time through duty rate management. Also, comparing the measured current consumption before and after the improvement, we confirmed the correlation between the data transmission speed improvement and the current reduction.
