곡관덕트에 연결된 정사각단면 직관덕트에서 증류정상유동의 유동장내 유동특성 (Flow Characteristics of Developing Laminar Steady Flows in a Straight Duct Connected to a Square Curved Duct)

  • In the present study, The characteristics of developing steady laminar flows of a straight duct connected to a $180^{\circ}$ curved duct were examined In the entrance region through experimental measurement. Flow characteristics such as shear stress distributions, pressure distributions and friction coefficient experimentally in a square cross-sectional straight duct by using the PIV system. For the PIV measurement by particles produced from mosquito coils particles. The experimental data were obtained at 9 points dividing the test sections by 400mm. Experimental results can be summarized as follows. Critical Reynolds number, $Re_{cr}$ which indicates transition from laminar steady flow to transition steady flow was 2,150. Shear stress per unit length on the wall was stronger than that in the fully developed flow region. This was attributed to the fact that shear stress and pressure loss in the curvature of a duct were increased. Pressure distributions were gradually decreased irrespective of Reynolds number In the whole test section. This trends were in a good agreement with the reference results. Pipe friction coefficient in the steady state flow region was calculate from method of least squares. The co-relationship between fiction coefficient and Reynolds number was established as follow; ${\lambda}=56/Re$.

덕트-음향 시스템에서 소거용스피커 방향에 따른 소음감소효과 (Noise Attenuation Effect According to the Direction of Canceling Speaker in Duct-acoustic System)

  • In this paper, we studied on an attenuation effect of automobile exhaust noise according to the direction of canceling speaker in duct-acoustic ANC system. Automobile exhaust noise was recorded at 800rpm, 3500rpm and 5000rpm of a diesel engine. Directions of canceling speaker can be set to $30^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$ and $150^{\circ}$ against the primary noise flow by acrylic ducts to be made for the experimentation. DSP board used to control the ANC system. The algorithm of this ANC system applied the Filtered-x-LMS algorithm that is modified to compensate for a property of DSP input signal and the secondary-path effect. As an experiment result, the direction of canceling speaker was proved to influence the reduction effect of noise. The $150^{\circ}$ duct in the attenuation effect of noise showed a better result than the $90^{\circ}$ or $30^{\circ}$ duct.

  • In the present study, characteristics of steady state laminar flows of a straight duct connected to a 180$^{o}$ curved duct were examined in the entrance region through experimental and numerical analyses. For the analysis, the governing equations of laminar flows in the Cartesian coordinate system were applied. Flow characteristics such as velocity profiles and secondary flows were investigated numerically and experimentally in a square cross-sectional straight duct by the PIV system and a CFD code(STAR CD). For the PIV measurement, smoke particles produced from mosquito coils. The experimental data were obtained at 9 points dividing the test sections by 400 3m. Experimental and numerical results can be summarized as follows. 1) Reynolds number, Re was increased, dimensionless velocity profiles at the outer wall were increased due to the effect of the centrifugal force and secondary flows. 2) The intensity of a secondary flow became stronger at the inner wall rather than the outer wall regardless of Reynolds number. Especially, fluid dynamic phenomenon called conner impact were observed at dimensionless axial position, x/D$_{h}$=50.

  • In the present study flow characteristics of turbulent pulsating flow in a square-sectional 180。 curved duct are investigated experimentally. in order to measure axial velocity and secondary flow distributions experimental studies for air flow are conducted in a square-sectional $180^{\circ}$ curved duct by using the LDV system with the data acquisition and the processing system of the Rotating Machinery Resolver (RMR) and the PHASE software. The experiment is conducted on seven sections form the inlet(${\phi}=180^{\circ}$) at $30^{\circ}$ intervals of the duct. The results obtained from the experimentation are summarized as follows : In the axial velocity distributions of turbulent pulsating flow when the ratio of velocity amplitude(A1) is less than one there is hardly any velocity change in the section except near the wall and any change in axial velocity distribution along the phase. The secondary flow of turbulent pulsating flow has a positive value at the vend angle of $150^{\circ}$ without regard to the ratio of velocity amplitude. The dimensionless value of secondary flow becomes gradually weak and approaches zero in the region of bend angle $180^{\circ}$ without regard to the ratio of velocity amplitude.

  • The article represents an experimental investigation on friction and turbulent flow characteristics of free airflow through a rectangular duct fitted with semicircular ribs of uniform height (e = 3.5 mm) on one principle wall. The aspect ratio of the rectangular duct was AR= 5 where the duct height (H) was of 30 mm. Four different rib pitches (P) of 28 mm, 35 mm, 42 mm and 49 mm were used for constant rib height to hydraulic diameter ratio (e/Dh = 0.07) and constant rib height to channel height ratio (e/H = 0.11). The experimental results show some significant effects on pressure drop as well as turbulent characteristics at various configurations among different numbers of rib arrangements varying Reynolds number in the range of 15000 to 30000. Pressure transducer and hot wire anemometer were used for data acquisition of this experiment.

  • 본 연구에서 송풍기 덕트 스탠드 구조물의 구조 설계 및 해석을 수행하였다. 대상 구조물은 운송체의 환경 시험 챔버내에 적용되는 풍동의 팬과 송풍기이다. 다양한 하중을 분석하여 송풍기 덕트 스탠드 지지 구조물에 대한 설계를 수행하였다. 분석된 주 하중은 팬에 의한 하중과 토크이다. 또한 모터의 자중과 덕트 무게도 분석하여 구조 하중에 적용되었다. 하중을 분석하여 덕트 스탠드 구조물을 설계하였다. 유한 요소 구조 해석을 통해 구조 설계 결과의 안전성을 평가하였다. 최종 설계 결과의 안전성을 검증하였다.

The efficacy of a novel integrated outside biliary stent and nasobiliary drainage catheter system for acute cholangitis: a single center pilot study

  • Background/Aims: Endoscopic biliary drainage is the gold standard treatment for cholangitis. The two methods of biliary drainage are endoscopic biliary stenting and nasobiliary drainage. A novel integrated outside biliary stent and nasobiliary drainage catheter system (UMIDAS NB stent; Olympus Medical Systems) was recently developed. In this study, we evaluated the efficacy of this stent in the treatment of cholangitis caused by common bile duct stones or distal bile duct strictures. Methods: We conducted a retrospective pilot study by examining the medical records of patients who required endoscopic biliary drainage for cholangitis due to common bile duct stones or distal bile duct strictures, and who were treated with a UMIDAS NB stent, between December 2021 and July 2022. Results: Records of 54 consecutive patients were reviewed. Technical and clinical success rates were 47/54 (87.0%) and 52/54 (96.3%), respectively. Adverse events were observed in 12 patients, with six patients experiencing pancreatitis as an adverse event, following endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Regarding late adverse events, five cases of biliary stent migration into the bile duct were observed. Disease-related death occurred in one patient. Conclusions: The outside-type UMIDAS NB stent is an efficacious new method for biliary drainage and can be applied to many indications.

기존 사무소 건물 및 설비전문가 조사를 통한 설비시스템의 변화와 전망에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Transition & Expectation through Survey for Existing Building and Engineer's Opinion)

  • This study is the survey of a transition procedure of building services systems(heat source, HVAC, water supply) through the survey of existing office buildings, building design documents. The preference & major consideration of system selection is the engineer's opinions. The results of this survey can be used in selection of building services system design. In this survey, "Hot & cold water generator system" and "single duct CAV+FCU system", "Elevated water tank system" are selected. The most important consideration in system selection is the energy saving in heat source system, and comfort in HVAC system, and water pressure in water supply system. They prefer "steam boiler+absorption chiller system" for heat source system, "steam boiler+ice thermal storage system", "hot & cold water generator system", "district heating+absorption chiller system" : "single duct CAV+FCU system" and "single duct VAV+convector system" for HVAC system: and "booster pump system" for water supply system.

태양열 집열면이 있는 4각 덕트 내의 열전달 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Heat Transfer in Quadrangle Duct with Solar Absorber Plate)

  • This paper analyzed the characteristics of heat transfer in quadangle duct with absorber plate by solar radiation. Effects o( Reynolds number on increasing temperature at outlet for variation of absorber plate temperature were analyzed by using numerical analysis technique. And also the effects of turbulent intensity of inlet flow on increasing temperature at outlet for various duct height and effects of inlet aspect ratio of quadrangle duct and position of heating surface on the outlet temperature were analysed. As the results, Outlet temperature was greatly influenced in low Reynolds number. And the highest outlet temperature distribution appeared on the inlet aspect ratio 2 because of the buoyancy effect.
