We analyzed Radioisotope scan findings of 46 patients of thyroiditis which were proven pathologically at K.C.H. The results were as follows 1) 45 patients were female, one was male and average age of patients was 37 years old. 2) The lesion site was predominant in both lobe (67%) 3) Hashimoto's thyroiditis showed enlarged thyroid (85%) with cold nodule (20%), diffuse decreased activity (10%), while subacute thyroiditis was presented absent activity (53%), poor visualization (20%) or cold nodule (7%) 4) Radioisotope scan was valuable in evaluations function of thyroid gland and detection of lesion but there was a limit of pathological nature.

본 연구에서는 Split-beam 변환기에 적용 가능한 방향 탐지 알고리듬으로써 4분 샘플링에 의한 시간 영역에서의 음원 도래 방향 탐지법을 검토하고자 한다. 외부 잡음을 고려한 환경하에서도 완전 샘플링 및 4분 샘플링 후 주파수 영역에서의 시간 지연 계산법보다 4분 샘플링에 의한 시간 영역에서의 상호상관 기법이 경제적인 측면과 분해능의 측면에서 적절하다는 것을 확인하였다.

In most vehicle manufactures have traditionally relied on find-fix method of human auditor, mainly due to variation excitation source. To solve the BSR noise, the requirements for BSR test are presented in terms of detection of noise source, analysis of time-frequency and sound pressure, sound quality for noise. A number of new technology direction, particularly in the field of noise source identification application and psycho-acoustics from the Zwicker's sound quality parameter, the computed objective sound metrics and subjective jury test result.

Staphylococcus aureus strains are important foodborne pathogens that produce various toxins. To evaluate the risk of the enterotoxins, four S. aureus strains from kimbap and two clinical samples were isolated and identified, and their expression of the enterotoxin genes were analyzed using a reverse transcription real-time PCR. Various enterotoxin genes were detected, including sea, seg, seh, sei, sen, seo, and sem, where each isolate contained one or two. When the mRNA detection of the enterotoxin genes was analyzed using a reverse transcriptase PCR, various levels of expression were found depending on the species and enterotoxin gene. Therefore, it is reasonable to suggest that the poisoning risk of S. aureus can be effectively evaluated based on the gene expression at the mRNA level.

The raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides) may be infected by Dirofilaria immitis. However, there has been no report on dirofilarial infection in the raccoon dog in Korea. In this study, we report on D. immitis infection in two wild raccoon dogs captured in the Daejeon area. The two raccoon dogs were referred to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Chungnam National University for diagnosis of D. immitis infection. The modified Knott's test for the detection of blood D. immitis microfilariae was positive, and serological test (FASTest$^{(R)}$ HW Antigen ELISA kit, Diagnostik Mega Cor, Austria) for D. immitis was positive as well. Additionally, D. immitis microfilariae were differentiated from other microfilariae by using acid phrnphatase histochemical staining (Leucognost-SP$^{(R)}$kit, Diagncstica MERCK, Germany). The two raccoon dogs were necropsed and D. immitis infection was confirmed.

In order to know the effect of surface irregularity in the detection of local wall thinning of pipeline using pulsed eddy current (PEC), the lift-off effects on PEC signal have been investigated. Three kinds of parameters in the PEC signal, which is "peak amplitude", "time to peak amplitude" and "time to zero crossing" are analyzed to separate the lift-off effects in the PEC signal. The distance from sensor to the bottom of sample which is the total thickness of combined insulator and sample is kept constant. The magnitude of the differential peak amplitude is increased with increasing sample thickness, the time to peak amplitude is increased with increasing the sample thickness. To determine the effect of lift-off, a number of balanced transient responses combining wall thinning locations and lift-off distances were plotted.

본 논문은 연결정보(connectivity) 및 미리 계산된 계층적 데이터 구조(hierarchical data structure)를 이용하지 않는 그래픽 및 햅틱 렌더링 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 점 기반 그래픽 표현(point-based graphic representation) 기법을 이용하여 3차원 자유 곡면을 생성한다. 생성된 점 기반 곡면 물체와의 햅틱 상호작용을 위해 그래픽 하드웨어(GPU)에 접근하여 점 기반 곡면에서 생성된 깊이 이미지(depth image)를 이용하여 햅틱 상호작용에 필수 요소인 충돌검출(collision detection) 및 반력 연산(contact force computation)을 수행한다.

This study presented problems and improvements in the quality control of an air monitoring network, using Gyeongnam as an example. 1) The effective utilization rate of the air monitoring was 95%, which showed good management, but the maximum of 2% was indicated by zero or detection limit among measurement data. 2) In the equivalence evaluation of PM_2.5, the slope and intercept satisfy the evaluation criteria; however, 1% of the PM_2.5/PM₁₀ ratios were outliers. 3) All air monitoring stations meet the quality control standards; however, the management status is added to the quality inspection, management system is unified and the related budget is expanded, and systematic commission management is required.

A new method for the analysis of metocurine iodide in biological fluids was developed. Metocurine iodide was quantitatively extracted with rose bengal from aqueous layer into dichloromethane layer and the amount of metocurine iodide was calculated from the amount of rose bengal which was determined by HPLC with fluorescence detector. It was possible to analyze metocurine iodide without the effect of co-prescribed drugs in the concentration range of $0.09{\sim}9.10\;{\mu}g/ml$. The detection limits of metocurine iodide in urine and blood were 0.8 and 1.2 ng at S/N=3, each respectively.

Using enhanced ordering scheme of graylevel in an image, we can apply it to lossless image compression in this paper. The proposed method is ordering scheme to replace an original grayscale image with a particular ordered image without additional information. From the simulation, it is verified that the proposed method reduces the bit rates than plain ordering scheme. And it can be applied in various fields of lossless compression, water marking and edge detection.
