  • One of the important performance measure for productivity at container terminals is the working productivity in the quay. working scheduling of quay cranes (QCs) gives a significant impact on the quay working productivity. The recent managers of the terminals pay high interests in equipment investment and operation methods with a new concept in order to enhance the quay working productivity. The double cycle or dual cycle, which is a method to increase the quay productivity with no application of new equipment, but with the change of operations, has been received strong attention in academic research. The majority of studies until this time has been realized the quay work as the bottleneck and focused on those works. However, if the QCs do notver, it the Cs d-trotver,(CT) if t the Cs, there would be the pos ibilf tes that the effectiveness of them is decreasedveaused by the longer, if t the Cs. Thus, this paper, suggests the solutions on the con th scheduling for the dual cycle operation considering the YT.

Dual-Band Unequal Power Divider based on CRLH Transmission Line (CRLH 전송선로를 기반으로 한 이중대역 비대칭 전력 분배기)

  • In this paper, the unequal power divider based on CRLH (Composite Right/Left-Handed) transmission line with dual-band characteristic is proposed. They consist of dual-band branch line hybrid coupler, the connection between input and isolation port of hybrid coupler and ${\lambda}/4$ impedance transformer. When the transmission line between input and isolation port of hybrid coupler is asymmetrical connected, the divider is obtained the output results of the equal phase and unequal power dividing ratio. The simulation results of the divider represent the power ratio of 0 dB ~ 20 dB. To validate a function of divider, the hybrid coupler and transformer with 880 MHz and 1850 MHz is implemented. As a result, the proposed unequal divider obtains the power ratio of 3.2 dB ~ 8.8 dB at 880 MHz and 2.5 dB ~ 14.0 dB at 1850 MHz.

  • In this paper, we propose DLP(Dual Linear Polarization) antenna with aperture coupled feeding structure for private network. The proposed antenna has general aperture coupled structure and design two port between top and bottom layer to obtain the enhanced isolation. Also, The size of each substrate(top and bottom layer) is 34.0 mm(W)×34.0 mm(L), which is designed on the FR-4 substrate which thickness (h) is 1.0 mm, and the dielectric constant is 4.4. Also, the size of patch antenna is 12.70 mm(W2)×14.60 mm(L3), and it is located on the top layer. The size of feeding line is 24.0 mm(W2)×1.6 mm(L3), and is located at the bottom layer Also, rectangular slot is located on the ground plane between top layer and bottom layer. From the fabrication and measurement results, bandwidths of 300 MHz (4.52 to 4.82 GHz) for feeding port 1, and 170 MHz (4.65 to 4.82 GHz) for feeding port 2 are obtained on the basis of -10 dB return loss and transmission coefficient S21 is got under the -30 dB.   • This paper analyzed productivity of quay cranes on container terminal that have perpendicular yard layout block. In most existing container terminals, quay cranes of single trolley type are used to loading and unloading containers, but quay crane productivity of these type has many limitation about large size containership. For these reasons, recently quay cranes of various type that mn improve productivity are developed and as the representative example, dual trolley, double trolley, supertainer are developing. These cranes are realized that very high productivity bemuse their cycle time is short more than existent single trolley quay crane. Therefore, we analyzed productivity of these cranes that are realized by next generation crane alternatives and as result qf this research, mechaniml productivity by cycle time and net productivity by simulation were measured.

  • The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the quay crane productivity in automated container terminal with perpendicular yard layout. In particular, four quay crane (single trolley/dual trolley/double trolley/supertainer) are considered to evaluate the productivity on the terminal performance. Each quay crane load or unload containers by a different process. For each quay crane, two productivities are considered and compared: mechanical productivity, net productivity. As the net productivity of quay crane is significant, in this paper, an application of simulation model to simulate automated container terminal is developed and a wide variety of computational experiments were conducted.

  • In this paper, we present real-time implementation of a R2MFC/DTMF (R2 Multi Frequency Combinations/Dual Tone Multiple Frequency) tone receiver/sender using a high performance DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and apply it to a carrier class VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) gateway system. The Receiver utilizes the Goertzel filter and the sender adopts the harmonic resonant filter. We describe, in detail, the techniques of multi-channel real-time implementation on a Texas Instruments TMS320C62x DSP such as effective PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) in/out by means of DMA (Direct Memory Access) and McBSP (Multi Channel Buffered Serial Port) and message communication via HPI (Host Port Interface), etc. From experimental results, we confirmed that the optimized code provided 780 channel capacity at 250㎒ C6202, and the our R2MFC/DTMF receiver/sender met ITU-T (International Telecommunication Union-Telecommunication) specifications.

Broad Band Microstrip Antenna with Saw Tooth Perturbations for Polarization Diversity (톱니 모양의 Perturbation을 갖는 편파 Diversity 용 광대역 마이크로스트립 안테나)

  • This study suggests new antenna design for polarization diversity. For dual polarization, two port feeding lines are printed on two separate layers and cross-shaped aperture is located on ground between the substrates. For reducing back radiation, a reflector is attached around $\lambda$/4 behind feeding substrates. For wide bandwidth we use a perturbed patch with saw tooth shaped. This perturbation effect causes reduction of antenna size and also reduction of array size. With the antenna proposed here, $1\times4$ array dual polarization antenna for polarization diversity of PCS base station is built. One single element has as large as 10.3%, 11.3% bandwidths at each port, V.S.W.R less than 1.3 and the isolation is less than -40 dB, also array antenna has 13.2% 12.7% band bandwidth, V.S.W.R less than 1.3 the isolation below -36dB and the XPD of 10 dB.

  • Ubiquitous application is in need of high-level technology to meet various requests for ubiquitous service. In order to adopt ubiquitous technology in not only pilot projects but also regional services, many projects like u-City are implemented in and outside the country. RFID has been known as one of the important technology to provide with core benefits of Ubiquitous services. Because each band of RFID technology has merits and demerits concurrently, single-band RFID system has limitations for various RFID services. Thus, we developed dual-band RFID system enable to provide with 13.56MHz and 2.45GHz RFID service at the same time to compensate the shortage of single-band RFID system. Also we have considered the way that the firmware would control signals without collision, studied battery life and range for tag, and made hardware for dual-band RFID service.

  • In this paper, a theoretical analysis of a wide band distributed mixer using a dual-gate GaAs MESFET's(DGFET) is introduced. Based on low noise mixer mode(LNM) region modeling of DGFET, variation of g/sub m/ and conversion gain are presented versus bias. The distributed mixer is composed of drain and gate transmission line, m-derived image impedance matching circuits at each input and output port, and DGFET's. Through computer simulation, wide-band characteristics of designed distributed mixer are confirmed. And, it is certificated that LO/RF isolation between gate 1 and gate 2 is obtained more than 15dB.

  • Fuel wall film effects power output and cycle deviation by changing the amount of fuel flowing into cylinder in PFI gasoline engines. Reduction of wall film can reduce fuel consumption and improve combustion stability. In this research, the effects of injection strategies including injection pressure and dual injection system is investigated for reducing wall film formation. The CONVERGE software is used for numerical analysis tool and O'Rourke film splash model was used for wall film prediction model. Compared with the reference case wall film decreased with increase of injection pressures, and the film formation reduced when the dual injection system was used.
