석탄가스화 용융슬래그를 혼합잔골재로 사용한 콘크리트의 기초적 특성 및 내구성 분석 (Analysis of Fundamental Properties and Durability of Concrete Using Coal Gasification Slag as a Combined Aggregate)

  • 본 연구는 CGS를 콘크리트용 혼합골재로서 활용성을 검토하기 위하여 양호한 입도분포의 부순잔골재(CSa) 및 미립자인 해사와 굵은 입자의 부순잔골재를 혼합한 혼합골재(MS)에 CGS의 치환율 변화에 따른 콘크리트의 기초적 특성 및 내구성을 분석하였다. 실험결과, 슬럼프 및 슬럼프 플로는 CSa 및 MS 모두 CGS 치환율이 증가할수록 증가하였으며, 공기량은 반대로 감소하였다. 압축강도는 CSa를 사용한 경우 CGS 치환율이 증가할수록 저하하였지만, MS를 사용한 경우는 CGS 50 %에서 최대치를 나타내었다. 콘크리트 내구성을 검토한 결과로, 건조수축 및 탄산화 깊이측정의 경우는 CGS 치환율에 따라 양호한 성능을 나타내었다. 하지만, 내동해성에서는 전반적으로 CGS 치환율이 증가할수록 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, CGS를 치환 사용하는 혼합잔골재 콘크리트의 경우는 공기량 감소를 보완할 수 있도록 AE제 추가 투입 등의 대책을 수립한다면, 큰 문제 없을 것으로 판단된다.

칠기 하지층 충진제의 특성 비교 : 토회와 곡수 (A Study on Conservation Materials of the Lacquer Wares : the Tohoe and Goksu)

  • 전통 칠기의 보존처리에 있어 수리 복원 기술이나 재료 등에 관한 명확한 기록이나 전승이 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구는 목칠기 보존처리 중 하지층 복원에 사용되는 충진제의 기초적인 특성을 비교하여 칠기 하지층 복원시 적합한 재료를 선택적으로 사용하는데 목표를 두고 있다. 토회와 3종의 첨가제를 혼합한 토회, 곡수를 사용하여 시료를 제작하여 건조속도, 색도, 내충격성, 연마도를 비교하였다. 건조 속도는 토회, 목분 혼합, 목탄분 혼합, 와분 혼합, 곡수, 맥칠 시료의 순이었으며, 상대적으로 토분의 비율이 많아질수록 건조속도는 빠르고, 표면의 균열이 심해졌다. 내충격성 또한 토분의 비율이 많아질수록 낮은 값을 보였다. 첨가제의 종류에 따른 차이는 크지 않았으며 곡수와 첨가제를 혼합한 시료 모두 상대적으로 높은 내충격성을 보였다. 연마도의 경우 토분의 양이 많아질수록 커지고, 목분과 목탄분을 혼합한 시료 역시 큰 연마도를 보였다. 맥칠과 곡수 시료는 가장 큰 연마도를 보였고 와분을 혼합한 시료의 경우 가장 낮은 연마도를 보였다.

Corrosion Evaluation of Epoxy-Coated Bars in Chloride Contaminated Concrete Using Linear Polarization Tests

  • Five slab specimens with predefined cracks are examined to evaluate the corrosion behavior of epoxy-coated bars in chloride contaminated concrete, using linear polarization method. The test specimens were subjected to alternating weekly cycles of ponding in a salt solution and drying for 48 weeks. Test results show that the current density of the specimen of normal steel bars becomes 0.715 ${\mu}A/cm^2$ indicating that the steel bars are in moderate or high corrosion condition. However, the corrosion rates of the specimens with damaged epoxy-coated bars are significantly below 0.1 ${\mu}A/cm^2$ and the bars appears to be in passive condition. The damaged epoxy-coated bars with a corrosion inhibitor of calcium nitrite showed a corrosion rate of 0.110 ${\mu}m/year$ or 56 percents of the corrosion rate of damaged epoxy-coated specimen without such an inhibitor, 0.195 ${\mu}m/year$. However, the corrosion rates of specimens containing the other two corrosion inhibitors, a combination of amines and esters or mixtures of organic alkenyl dicarboxyl acid salts are quite equivalent to the control specimen. The research technique of linear polarization resistance method has proven itself to be useful in measuring corrosion rates of reinforcement in concrete.

폴리머 시멘트계 Self leveling 바닥마감재의 기초성능평가 (Basic Efficiency Assessment of polymer cementitious Self leveling for floor-finishing materials)

  • Recently, polymer-modified mortar has been studied for proposed use on industrial floors as top layers with thin thicknesses, typically 5~ 15mm. The purpose of this study is to evaluate basic properties of self leveling materials using polymer modifier as kinds of SBR, PAE, SUBA. Superplasticizer and thickener have been included in the mixes to reduce bleeding and drying shrinkage as well as in order to facilitate the workability required. The self leveling materials using four types of polymer dispersion are prepared with polymer-cement ratios which respectively range from 50%, 75%, and were tested for basic characteristics such as adhesion in tension, crack resistance test, rebound test after the preparative tests for unit weight, air content, consistency ratio etc. The results show almost as equal quality as existing commercial industrial flooring when mortar is modified by polymer dispersion. Adhesion in tension of polymer modified mortars using each SBR and PAE emulsion was over 10 kgf/$cm^{2}$. Crack or flaw derived from shrinkage is strongly dependent on the type of polymer dispersion because of each different total solid of polymer. It is judged that polymer modified mortar with self-leveling can be very well suited for Floor-finished.

Strength and Durability of Mortar Made with Plastics Bag Waste (MPBW)

  • The aim of this study is to explore the possibility of re-cycling a waste material that is now produced in large quantities, while achieving an improvement of the mechanical properties and durability of the mortar. This study examines the mechanical properties and the durability parameters of mortars incorporating plastics bag wastes (PBW) as fine aggregate by substitution of a variable percentage of sand (10, 20, 30 and 40 %). The influence of the PBW on the, compressive and flexural strength, drying shrinkage, fire resistance, sulfuric acid attack and chloride diffusion coefficient of the different mortars, has been investigated and analyzed in comparison to the control mortar. The results showed that the use of PBW enabled to reduce by 18-23 % the compressive strength of mortars containing 10 and 20 % of waste respectively, which remains always close to the reference mortar (made without waste). The replacement of sand by PBW in mortar slows down the penetration of chloride ions, improves the behavior of mortars in acidic medium and improves the sensitivity to cracking. The results of this investigation consolidate the idea of the use of PBW in the field of construction.

광개시제 특성에 따른 터치 패널용 UV 경화형 Ag 페이스트의 물성 연구 (A Study on Properties of UV-Curing Silver Paste for Touch Panel by Photoinitiator Characteristic)

  • The recent spotlight on electronic touch-screen display, a rapid breakthrough in the information society is evolving. Touch panel input device such as a keyboard or mouse without the use of, the on-screen character or a specific location or object on the person's hand touches a particular feature to identify the location of a panel is to be handled. The touch screen on the touch panel is used in the Ag paste is used mostly for low-curable paste. The thermal-curing paste according to the drying process of thermal energy consumption and improve the working environment of organic solvents have problems. In this study, Ag paste used in the non-thermal curing friendly and cost-effective UV curable paste was prepared. Current commercially available thermal-curable binder, was used instead of the flow characteristics of UV-curable oligomers and monomers with functional groups to give a single conductive Ag paste with the addition of a pattern could be formed. Ag paste as a result, thermal-curing adhesive, hardness, resistance and excellent reproduction of fine patterns and was available with screen printing environmentally friendly could see its potential as a patterning technology.

농업용 콘크리트 구조물용 라텍스개질 보수용 모르타르의 수축 및 내구성능 평가 (Shrinkage and Durability Characteristics of Latex Modified Repair Mortar for Agricultural Concrete Structures)

  • This research was to evaluate the shrinkage and durability performance of latex modified repair mortar and to improve the service lift of the agricultural concrete structures. The shrinkage characteristics of the repair material creates the delamination of repair materials and existing concrete. It may reduce the service life of structures. Also the reduction of durability performance of the repair materials induces the destruction of the repaired concrete structures at early stage. In this research, plastic and drying shrinkage, thermal expansion coefficient for shrinkage properties, durability performance, permeability, repeated freezing and thawing, and resistance of chemical solution test were performed. Test results showed that the latex modified repair mortar indicated the shrinkage amount which the delamination does not happen, and the latex modified repair mortar appeared excellent long-term durability performance which can increase the service life.

전통 호분 제조기술 연구 - 풍화방법을 중심으로 - (Investigation of the Korean Traditional Hobun Manufacturing Technique - Centering on Weathering Method -)

  • Hobun(Oyster shell White) is a traditional material used as extender and white pigment from ancient times. The production method of it, however, has been discontinued. We have studied the traditional production method of Hobun by weathering oyster shell, which is one of the traditional ways for preparing Hobun. Reproduction study of manufacturing method of the discontinued traditional material is an important accomplishment of our research. Also this study provides solid background knowledge to stabilize the production and supply of Hobun for the cultural asset repairing materials. The result can be summarized as follows: The production process of Hobun by weathering method takes 5 steps - (1) weathering shells ${\rightarrow}$ (2) washing ${\rightarrow}$ (3) pulverization ${\rightarrow}$ (4) separating fine powder by submerging in water ${\rightarrow}$ (5) drying. The major aim in step (1) is to eliminate organic impurities. In the step (4), the fine particles smaller than $25{\mu}m$ are separated by extracting the supernatant from stirred suspension after heavy particles are submerged. Also, the soluble inorganic impurities can be eliminated through the powder submerge in 15 times water and stirring the suspension 6 hours and changing the water 3~4 times. The final products have high quality with 94.03, 0.52, 2.05 for L, a, b, less than $25{\mu}m$ particle size, fine resistance for discoloration by light and environmental pollution and good workability.

진동성형용 ρ-알루미나결합 알루미나 캐스터블 내화재료의 제조와 특성 (Preparation and Properties of ρ-alumina Bonded Alumina Vibrated Castable Refractory)

  • 진동성형용 캐스터블을 제조하기 위하여 p-알루미나를 주결합제로 사용하였으며 결합강도를 증진시키기 위하여 나노크기의 점토를 첨가하는 등 특별한 결합기구를 도입하여 기존 캐스터블보다 고밀도, 저기공율 그리고 높은 강도를 얻을 수 있었다. 그리고 적은 수분첨가로 치밀한 캐스터블을 제조할 수 있었다. 캐스터블의 매트릭스 부분을 잘 조절함으로서 치수 안전성을 확보한 기계적 강도 및 침식저항 특성이 개선되었다. 150$0^{\circ}C$에서 열처리한 후의 꺽임강도와 압축강도는 각각 92.34 kgf/$ extrm{cm}^2$ 및 370 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ 이고 뮬라이트 형성을 위한 활성화에너지는 11.47 kcal/mo1이다.

PPF 섬유의 첨가가 콘크리트의 공극구조에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of PPF Fiber on Pore Structure of Concrete)

  • 최근에 폴리프로필렌 섬유를 첨가하여 콘크리트의 인성을 증가시키고, 균열에 대한 저항성을 향상시키고자 하는 노력이 경주되어 왔다. 그러나 첨가된 섬유의 작동 구조에 대한 이해 부족으로 인하여 연구자들 간에 실험 결과에 대한 해석이 상이한 경우가 많았다. 섬유의 첨가에 따른 콘크리트 물성의 변화는 콘크리트의 미세 공극구조의 변화가 외부적으로 관측된 것이기 때문에 본 연구에서는 주로 투수성 실험과 공극분포 측정 등을 통한 공극구조의 변화를 분석하여 섬유의 첨가로 인한 콘크리트의 물성 변화가 발생하는 메카니즘에 대하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 섬유의 첨가는 수분의 이동을 촉진하는 통로를 제공하며, 이에따라 건조수축을 증가시키고 공극의 크기를 증가시키는 효과를 나타내고 있으며, 섬유의 주변에 형성된 공극의 크기는 $0.05{\mu}m$에서 $5.0{\mu}m$ 사이에 분포되어 있음이 관측되었다.
