반응표면분석법을 이용한 VTR Deck 캠의 최적형상 설계 (Optimum Cam Profile Design of VTR Deck Using the Response Stuface Analysis)

  • In this paper, and optimum profile of a cam being used in a VTR Deck mechanism is designed by the response surface analysis. The objective function of the design is to reduce driving torque of the pinch roller system that is used to compress video tape to the capstan motor axia. The pinch roller system that will be designed is modeled using the general purpopse mechanism analysis program DADS. The computer model is compared with the physical system for reliability. A model function to represent relationship between design variables and the objective function is estimated by the response surface analysis. Once the model function is reliably estimated the optimal design is carried out using the model function and each design variable's boundaries. To verify improvement of the pinch roller system, a prototype for the pinch rooler system is made and tested. From the test result, an optimum cam profile to resuce driving torque of the pinch roller system is verified.

  • An analysis of biosignal and performance data collected during driving has increasingly employed in research to explore a human-vehicle interface design for better safety and comfort. The present study developed a protocol and a system to effectively analyze biosignal and driving performance measurements in various driving conditions. Electrocardiogram (ECG), respiration rate (RR), and skin conductance level (SCL) were selected for biosignal analysis in the study. A data processing and analysis protocol was established based on a comprehensive review of related literature. Then, the established analysis protocol was implemented to a computerized system so that immense data of biosignal and driving performance can be analyzed with ease, efficiency, and effectiveness for an individual and/or a group of individuals of interest. The developed analysis system would be of use to examine the effects of driving conditions to cognitive workload and driving performance.

  • 이 연구는 인쇄기제어와 같은 기어를 포함한 직류전동기로 가동되는 회전계통 플랜트의 제어에 관해서 적분제어기와 전차수 상태관측기 및 영차홀드로 구성되는 데드비트제어시스템을 제안하고 있다. 샘플링된 연속데이터시스템의 응답은 샘플링사이에 리플이 발생치 않도록 보장할 수 없지만, 제안된 데드비트제어시스템의 응답은 MATLAB시뮬레이션을 통한 사례연구의 결과, 상태귀환형 최적제어나 출력귀환형 제어시스템응답 등에 비하여 정정시간이 횔씬 빠르고, 주어진 샘플링주기 후에 리플없는 출력응답을 얻을 수 있음을 보여준다.

  • Vehicle driving simulators hale been used in the development and modification of models. A simulator can reduce cost and time through a variety of driving simulations in the laboratory. Recently, driving simulators have begun to proliferate in the automotive industry and the associated research community. This paper presents the hardware and software developed fur a driving simulator of construction vehicles. This effect involves the real-time dynamic analysis of wheel-type excavator, the design and manufacturing of the Stewart platform, an integrated control system of the platform, and three-dimensional graphic modeling of the driving environments.

안락한 운전좌석 설계를 위한 최적 운전자세 연구 (A Study on the Optimum Driving Posture for Designing Comfortable Driving Workstation)

  • This study was conducted to collect data concerning the preferred driving postures and adopted seat adjustment levels and to grasp relationships among drivers' body sizes, postural angles, and adopted seat positions and angles. Also optimum driving posture and seat adjustment level estimation models were constructed. An experiment was conducted to investigate observed optimum driving posture, and seat adjustment level. Thirty-six subjects (male=20, female=16) was selected to include a wide range of percentiles in the dimensions important for automotive driving workstation design and to be representative of the automotive driving population in Korea. New guidelines and estimation models for optimum postural comfort were developed. There were significant differences between male and female in postural angles but not in seat adjustment levels. Taller subjects preferred a more open and reclined posture. Estimation models enable us to estimate the quantitative optimum driving posture and seat adjustment level with some drivers' physical dimensions.

In-wheel 모터를 이용한 전기자동차 구동시스템의 구현 (Implementation of In-wheel Motor Driving System for Electric Vehicle)

  • In-wheel motor system gets the driving force from direct-driven motor in the wheel of electric vehicle. It is known as good system for vehicles, from an efficiency, packaging, handling and safety. This paper describes motor and inverter technologies, system configuration and control algorithms for in-wheel type electric vehicle. It is necessary to control on an interrelation perspective because this system drives two motors at same time. In system design, IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) including a wide operating range and high-speed rpm is used and flux weakening control is performed in constant power range. Under the torque command from the host controller, auto control box, inverter's output torque is calculated with using torque estimation technique and applied to actual vehicle driving system. It is verified that the configuration and the algorithm are suitable for the in-wheel motor system.

  • We present a design study for a remote sensing camera system which can be operated in multi-channel mode simultaneously with several bandpass filters. The camera control electronics is based on the multiplexed driving concept, which can provide a variety of flexibility for system control parameters and its individual optimisation. The design can also be applied to any system with linear sensors or frame sensors according to its functional requirements. The system design parameters have been examined, including modification of driving waveforms for different types of sensors, waveforms for low-nosie readout circuit in analog chain, and synchronisation with other signal processing.

  • The semi-active suspension system is getting widely adopted in passenger vehicles for its ability to improve ride comfort over the passive suspension system while not degrading driving safety. A key to the success is to develop practical controllers that yield performance enhancement over the passive damper under various driving conditions. To this end, several control strategies have been studied and evaluated in this research in consideration of practical aspects such as nonlinearity and dynamics of the damper. From simulation results. it has been observed that, with the proposed control schemes, ride comfort can be significantly upgraded while suppressing degradation of driving safety.

Design and Implementation of Vehicle Internal Alarm System using Raspberry-pie Multi-sensor

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of a vehicle internal alarm system using raspberry-pie and gas sensor. It provides a notification system for sleepiness during driving, a driving time notification system and a smoking detection system. We coded using 'Python'. And we use 'MySQL' and 'PHP' to build the necessary servers and web pages for gathering sensing data and monitoring. The developed system was tested by several methods. All experiments showed satisfactory response signals and detected with immediate responses.
