Tractor 동력취출장치(P.T.O.)의 동력전달구조에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of Power Transmission by the Power-take-off(P.T.O.) of farm Tractor)

  • The power transmission to the traction devices may be very important for the tractor performance and therefore this system has been studied very much in the past. On the other hand, the PTO(Power-take-off) has been considered as an accessary on the tractor with a few work for its power transmission. Because of increased use of PTO operation in various kind of farming operations in recent years, the function of PTO may become such important as the traction facilities. In this study, the power transmission characteristics of PTO drive was analyzed theoretically and some experimental work was done to study on it. The results of the study are as follows: 1) The most stable condition of PTO work was obtained when the intersection angle of the two curves for driving and driven torques was about ${\pi}/2$. 2) To obtain the most stable operation it is better to use both the speed control and the full control together. 3) Six steps differential gear may not be enough to use the PTO power smoothly. It is thought that the three steps differential gear on the shaft of PTO may be necessary additionally for a smooth operation. 4) When the traction facilities and the PTO are used at the same time, the torque of crank shaft becomes Tt + Tp, and the high efficiency and good stability of word will be obtained with the small variation of driving speed. 5) When the tractor was operated with 75% of the rated horse power and 70% of maximum speed, the best thermal efficiency could be obtained. 6) The most dangerous sound for human occured at the rated speed of PTO and tus it may be necessary to control the dangerous noise.

  • This paper describes the research and development of Walking Tractors and Tillage Implements for Phase I (1991-1992) . The project consists of : (1) the study and need for the development of the walking tractors for Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries ; (2) the comparison in the use of the walking tractors and their transmission systems that are made in Thailand and aborad : and (3) the design of future walking tractors for Asian farmers in developing countries. The design of the walking tractors is concentrated to provide the ease to farmers, especially the elderly and female which will play an important role in the future agriculture of Thailand due to the lack of manpower. In addition , the design of the walking tractors is also aiming for small-scale farmers, the majority that have limited land capital. The walking tractors consist of several components but the most important one is the " Transmission System" . Thus, the research is concentrated in the devel pment an design of the a new transmission system. The new machine , currently developed, is named after the Chulalongkron University as " Chular Walking Tractor " , model SPJS -60. The tractor uses a 6-7 horsepower diesel engine with three forward gears and one reverse gear. The tractor also uses the latest gearing technology so called planetary gearing system with steering clutches system that never been used in any earlier model. The advantages of the planetary gearing system are : (1) the final drive gear can be small, and can be designed to provide higher strength with less wearing resistance, (2) the system eliminates a shaft which is used in other systems, thus reduces the weight and the manufacturing cost . Furthermore, the Chular Walking Tractor has an additional power take off shaft that can be used or linked with other standard agricultural implements.

  • 본 연구는 트랜스미션에 들어가는 부품인 차동기어에 대한 자동 검사 장비를 개발하고자 하는 것이다. 본 기술개발은 Micro Vision 자동 검사 장비와 마이크로레이저 자동 검사 장비를 사용하여 만들 것이다. 이는 작업자가 부주의하게 가공한 제품을 전수검사 단계에서 불량률 0를 만들고자 한다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 장비를 여러 분야 사업에 적용할 것이다. 포장회사, 너트 볼트 가공업체, 정밀 반도체 상단에 인쇄를 위한 업체, SMT 업체 등 다양한 분야에 비전검사 장비를 판매하고자 한다. 본 기술개발을 통해 불량률 0를 실현하면 모기업으로부터 안정적 물량 확보, 나아가 제품 신뢰도를 바탕으로 수출을 할 수 있는 기반마련의 기회도 가능하다. 자동검사시스템을 국내 자동차 부품 가공업체에 적용할 경우 우리나라 자동차의 신뢰도 또한 크게 상승 할 것으로 생각된다.

드럼형 자동공구교환장치의 설계에 관한 연구 (A study on the Design of Drum Type Automatic Tool Changer)

  • Automatic tool changers (ATCs) can be divided into drum and chain types. Drum-type ATCs contain a magazine, where the tools are mounted, and a cam gearbox, which swaps the tools via roller gear and grooved plate cams. Drum-type ATCs are advantageous in that the operating time for the tool magazine is more rapid than that of chain-type ATCs and the length of the unit is shorter. Thus, drum-type ATCs can be fabricated into various shapes and forms depending on the number of tools and the magazine size in accordance with machining center requirements and consumer demand. In particular, the price competitiveness of a machining center with a drum-type ATC is higher, while drum-type ATCs are more rigid with fewer parts, possibly reducing the need for regular servicing. This study aims to verify the structural stability and design validity of the magazine base, which is the main structure of a drum-type ATC, using finite element analysis. This study kinematically verifies the specifications of the selected drive motor and reducer and assessed the design of the cam gearbox. It also conducts a structural analysis of the roller camp, which is the core component of the cam gearbox, based on the results of the kinetodynamic analysis, thus validating the structural design.

500kW 조류력 발전장치 개발 및 울돌목 실증시험 (Development of 500kW Tidal Current Energy Converter and Uldolmok Field Test)

  • Hyundai Heavy Industries has developed a tidal current energy converter utilizing the accumulated technology as the world largest constructor for ship and offshore structures. The model has two sets of turbines in both ends in order to utilize the bi-directional current flows in flood and ebb tide. The torque produced by turbine in tidal current is directly delivered to generator along the horizontal axis, in which the turbine, gear, generator, gear and turbine are connected successively. The manufactured model for field test has the turbine diameter of 5 meters to produce the maximum power of 500kW at maximum current speed of 5m/s. The technical verification of tidal power converter was performed by means of small scale model test in towing tank as well as field test at the Strait of Uldolmok located in Jindo of Jeollanamdo province. Field test was performed by mounting the tidal current converter on the SEP(Self Elevating Platform) which could lower the 4 vertical legs on the seabed and could elevate platform over the water surface using the hydraulic power for itself. The field test performed for a month shows that power output is similar or larger compared with the expected one in design stage. This paper presents the development of tidal current energy converter and real sea field test by Hyundai Heavy Industries. This project has finished successfully and provided the technical advance toward commercial services for tidal current power generation in the south-west region in Korea.

에너지보존과 토크평형을 이용한 제로터 유압모터의 배제용적 해석 - 내부로터 공·자전 경우 - (An Analysis on Volumetric Displacement of Gerotor Hydraulic Motor using Energy Conservation and Torque Equilibrium - Second Report: The Case of a Revolving and Rotating Inner Rotor -)

  • It is difficult to analytically derive a volumetric displacement formula for a gerotor hydraulic motor due to the complexity of the geometric shape of its gear lobes. This work proposes an analytical method for the volumetric displacement, a relatively easy method based upon two physical concepts: conservation between hydraulic energy and mechanical shaft energy, and torque equilibrium for the rotor's motion. The first research using these concepts was conducted on inner and outer rotors rotating with respect to each rotor axis. This work represents the second report conducted on an inner rotor revolving as a planetary motion on the stationary outer rotor. The formula equations regarding the volumetric displacement and flow rate are derived, and the proposed formula about the volumetric displacement is proven to be the same as another analytical displacement formula: the so-called vane length method. From the formula, volumetric displacement is calculated for an example geometry of the gear lobes. The resultant displacement is confirmed to be the same as the value calculated from the chamber volume method. The proposed analytical formula can be utilized in the analysis and design of gerotor hydraulic motors. Because it is based on torque equilibrium, this formula can provide a better understanding of torque performance, such as torque ripple, in designing a gerotor type motor.

기선기현강의 연구 1, 재래식 어구의 유구저황과 그물꼴에 관하여 (STUDY ON THE ANCHOVY BOAT SEINE 1. On the Hydrodynamic Resistance and Performance of the Conventional Gear)

  • 자루 입구의 둘레가 력자망지 150골(75m)되는 권현망어구의 $\frac{1}{10}$ 크기의 모형을 제작하여, 어구의 유분저항과 린망중의 그물꼴에 관하여 실험한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 모형 어구로부터 환산된 실물어구의 유분저항은 (R은 kg, v는 m/sec) 전저항 $$R_1=30,000\;v^{1.2}\;(0.2{\leqq}v{\leqq}1.0)$$ 자루 저항 $$R_2=16,000\;v^2\;(0.2{\leqq}v{\leqq}0.6)$$ 2. 예망중의 그물꼴은 (1) 오비기(extension wing) 발줄의 전 길이 중, 앞 끝부터 약 $70\%$ 까지는 직선상으로 깊어지며, 해저에 나란한 부분은 안쪽 약 $30\%$ 정도이다. (2) 수비(inside-wing)의 마깥 언저리는 예망속도가 0.2 m/sec이상 되면, 자루와 수비의 연결부 보다 더 뒤로 쏠려서, 어군을 자루로 유도하는 데 합리적인 형상이 아니다. 이것을 시정하기 위해서는, 수비의 깊이 방향의 코스를 $\frac{1}{2}\~\frac{2}{3}$ 정도로 줄이거나, 또는 그물코의 크기를 그런 정로로 줄임과 동시에, 자루 입구에서 오비기 발줄로 가는 힘줄을 넣어서 수비에는 예망장력이 적게 미치도록 하는 것이 좋다고 생각된다. (3) 앞치마(lower bosom)는 예망속도가 0.2m/sec이상 되면, 뒤끝치 들어 올려져서 수심이 깊은 어장에서는 수비에까지 유도된 어군도 이리로 해서 도피할 우려가 있다. (4) 문턱(upper bosom)의 계관 상의 경사 각도는 $35\~40^{\circ}$이다. 이것은 어군을 자루그물로 유도하게 유도하기에는 너무 크다고 보아진다. 따라서, 문턱은 좀 더길게 해서 경사 각도를 작게 하는 것이 좋다고 생각된다. (5) 자루(bag net)의 모양은 예망속도가 0.2m/sec 이상 되면, 뒤쪽이 앞쪽보다 좁아져서, 구성상 앞쪽보다 뒤쪽을 넓게한 의도가 나타나지 않는다. 따라서 자루 그물은 전체 모양이 길다란 원통형이 되게 구성하는 것이 합리적이라고 생각된다.

딥러닝 기법을 이용한 차량 연료차단 주행의 감지법 (Detection Method of Vehicle Fuel-cut Driving with Deep-learning Technique)

  • 차량의 변속기어가 체결된 주행 상태에서 가속페달을 방치하는 경우 연료차단 주행이 시작된다. 적극적인 연료차단 주행을 활용하면 차량 연비가 개선된다. 본 연구에서는 차량의 속도, 가속도, 도로구배를 입력데이터로 사용하여 연료차단 주행 여부를 예측할 수 있는 딥러닝 기법을 제안하였다. 약 12km 정도의 도로주행을 통해 측정한 9600개의 데이터에 은닉층 3~10개, 매개변수 10~20개의 딥러닝 연산법을 적용하여 연료차단 주행여부를 예측하였다. 연산 결과, 렐루함수를 활성화함수로 적용하고 은닉층 7개, 매개변수 10개인 경우 정확도 84.5% 수준으로 예측할 수 있었다. 입력데이터인 속도, 가속도, 도로구배의 변화율이 연료소모율 데이터의 변화율에 비해 큰 것이 오차의 원인으로 판단된다. 따라서 입력데이터 정규화 과정을 통해 정확도를 높일 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구의 특징은 차량의 연료분사 인젝터나 OBD 데이터를 사용하지 않고 GPS 등에서 쉽게 측정할 수 있는 데이터에 딥러닝을 적용한 방식이다. 또한 연산량이 적어 본 연구에서 제안한 방식으로 친환경 경제운전에 적용하기 용이할 것으로 기대된다.

플라우 및 로터리 작업 시 농업용 관리기의 엔진 부하율 분석 (Analysis of Engine Load Factor for Agricultural Cultivator during Plow and Rotary Tillage Operation)

  • The aim of this study was to measure and analyze engine load factor (LF) according to working conditions (operation type and gear stage) of small agricultural multi-purpose cultivator to estimate the emission of air pollutants. To calculate LF, a torque sensor capable of collecting torque and rotational speed was installed on the engine output shaft and DAQ was used to collect data. A field test was conducted with major operation of a cultivator and tillage operations (plow tillage and rotary tillage). Engine power was calculated using engine torque and rotational speed and LF was calculated using real-time power and rated power. In addition, unified LF was calculated using the weight for each operation and the average LF for each operation. As a result, average LF values at 1.87 and 3.10 km/h by plow tillage were 0.50 and 0.69, respectively. Average LF values at 1.87 and 3.10 km/h by rotary tillage were 0.70 and 0.78, respectively. Furthermore, unified LF calculated in consideration of the weight factor showed a value of 0.65, which was 135% higher than the conventional LF (0.48). Results of this study could be used as basic information for realizing LF values in the field of agricultural machinery.

Vibration Suppression Control for an Articulated Robot: Effects of Model-Based Control Applied to a Waist Axis

  • This paper deals with a control technique of eliminating the transient vibration of a waist axis of an articulated robot. This technique is based on a model-based control in order to establish the damping effect on the mechanical part. The control model is related to the velocity control loop, and it is composed of reduced-order electrical and mechanical parts. Using this model, the velocity of the load is estimated, which is converted to the motor shaft. The difference between the estimated load speed and the motor speed is calculated dynamically, and it is added to the velocity command to suppress the transient vibration of a waist axis of the robot arm. The function of this technique is to increase the cut-off frequency of the system and the damping ratio at the driven machine part. This control model is easily obtained from design or experimental data and its algorithm can be easily installed in a DSP. This control technique is applied to a waist axis of an articulated robot composed of a harmonic drive gear reducer and a robot arm with 5 degrees of freedom. Simulations and experiments show satisfactory control results to reduce the transient vibration at the end-effector.
