준설토의 유실율 결정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Determination of Loss Ratio in Dredged Soils)

  • Recently , the hydraulic fill method is commonly used in many reclamation projects due to lack of fill materialss. The method of hydraulic fill i recalmation is executed by transporting the mixture of water -soil particles into a relcaimed land through dredging pipes, then the dredged soil particels settle down in thewater orflow over an out flow weir with the water. The amount of the volume reductions of dredged soil is considered the sum of the overall settlement by descication shrinkage and self-weigth consolidation and the loss of soil particles flow over a weir. In the present study, hydrometer analysis was performed with the soil samples obtained bofore and after dredging to estimate the amount of soil particles residual at reclaimed area and the loss of soil particles , then it was suggested the method of determining the loss ratio of dredged soils from the tests results. The hydrometer analysis of in-situ soil samples showed that the loss ratio of dredged soils is lowest at the nearest point to dredge pipe and highest at the nearest point of out flow weir.

  • Recently this country has carried out the coast reclamation centering on the west and south coast for effective practical use of a country, considering purchase of materials and environmental problem, and carrying into effort the reclamation method after dredging the ground in the ocean. In this large scale ocean dredging reclaiming work, prediction the ground subsidence after reclaiming is very important for not only expense lose by overestimation or underestimation but also hereafter the best suited project establishment. this study carries out sedimentation and self weight consolidation in each cases and searches the features to analyze effect on kinds of soil of ground before dredging, abandonment height when it abandons momentary, void ratio, difference of abandonment height when it abandons by stages and difference of particle content of spoil.

전자기장을 이용한 준설토 고효율 이송기술 실증 및 기술 지침 개발 (Dredging Material High Efficiency Transport Technology Test by Using the Electro Magnetic Field and Development of the Technical Design Manual)

  • As the research about increasing the efficiency of dredging soil transport, the technology, which reduce the friction between pipe wall and fluid in the pipe and disturbed generating pipe blockage, has been developed. So for the purpose of applying this technology to real construction site, main test has been tried at the real scale test in field. As a test result, this paper will show 30% flow efficiency increasing by permitted electro magnetic force to the pipe. And test result was evaluated as a ultra sonic velocity profiler. To propose the design technique and the execution manual of the high efficiency dredging material transport technic, this research have confirmed flow status changing depending on a soil material kind under electro-magnetic field and analyze the effect of electro-magnetic field which affects to each dredged soil material transportation. For achieving this research, EMF(Electro-Magnetic Field) generator is installed on the dredger(20,000HP) and through monitored flow status, dredging soil flow rate and sampled material specification is confirmed. Also dredger operating condition is measured and dredger power for soil transportation, hydraulic gradient and flow rate are compared, as transportation efficiency is calculated by this parameter, it is possible to check transportation efficiency improvement depending on each dredged soil material under electro-magnetic field. To verify the technique of dredged soil transfer using electromagnetic field, which is the core technique of the high efficiency dredged soil transfer, and the technique of expert system for pipeline transfer and the flow state. This could lead to a verification of transfer efficiency according to the characteristics of the dredged soil (sand, clay, silt) and the transfer distance (5km, 10km, 15km), which is planned to be used for a technology development of pump power reduction and long-distance transfer applying the high efficiency dredged soil transfer technology.

임해준설매립지 식물분포와 표층토양의 이화학적 특성 (Plant Distributions and Physicochemical Characteristics of Topsoil on the Reclaimed Dredging Area)

  • 본 연구는 광양제철소 임해준설매립지에 자생하는 식물분포와 토양환경요인의 특성을 규명하고, 식물분포와 토양과의 상관관계를 밝힘으로써 향후 생태적 조경의 활용방안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구대상지는 해수변으로부터 시작하여 표고 15m에 이르는 지역으로 임해준설매립지내 조사지역 1,2,3 및 4는 전형적인 염습지의 특정을 나타내었다. 조사지역의 총 출현종수는 1, 2, 3, 4, 5지역별로 각각 13, 15, 22, 27, 35종으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 염생식물은 감소하고 중성식물은 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 각 조사지역별 표층토양(O ~2Ocm)의 물리, 화학적 특성을 분석한 결과, 조사지역 1 에 서 조사지역 4로 이동함에 따라 탈염이 진행되면서 토양산도 및 전기전도도는 낮아지고, 영분, 유효인산, 칼륨, 염소, 칼숨, 마그네숨 등은 함량이 감소된 반면, 전 질소, 미사, 점토함량은 증가하는 경향을 보여주었다. 이는 임해준설매립지에서 자연강우에 토양이 장기간 노출되면서 염분과 관련된 토양환경인자들이 변화하는 것을 잘 나타내는 것이다. 이러한 분석 결과, 염분과 관련된 인자들이 연구대상지의 식물분포의 변화를 유도한 주요한 영향요인으로 밝혀졌다.

준설토의 침강형태에 관한 연구 (Settling Mode of the Dredged Soil)

  • The settling of the dredged soil may vary with mineral composition, grain size distribution, initial water content and salt concentration of suspension of the site. A series of settling column test was performed to investigate the behaviour of solid suspension material from dredging and reclamation. Settling mode was divided into four types from the observation of interface and settling curves of clay minerals and marine clay samples, and the relationship charts of salt concentration and the initial water content were established to use in the dredging operation with any salt concentration. The critical initial water content which was defined as a threshold of zone settling and the consolidation settling was varied with salt concentration of water and was proportional to the plasticity of soil in sea water.

준설토 이송시 유동효율에 미치는 전자기장 인가 영향에 대한 실험적 고찰 (Test Study about Electro magnetic force effect to apply dredging soil transport)

  • 준설토 이송의 효율을 증가시키기 위한 연구로써 전자기력을 배관에 인가하여 유동저항을 줄이고, 윤활 층에서의 유속을 침강 임계속도이상으로 증가시키어 침강으로 인한 폐색을 방지하는 기술을 개발하였으며, 이를 대규모 장거리 송토현장에 적용하기 위하여 송토 거리 500m 규모의 현장에서 그 영향을 검토하는 실험을 진행하였으며, 실험결과 유동효율 증대로 인한 송토 유량이 30% 이상 증가함을 실험을 통해 보였다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 전자기장 인가장치와 계측장비로 초음파 유속 프로파일러를 사용하여 배관 내 유속프로파일을 모니터링 하여 그 데이터를 비교분석하여 효과를 검증하였다.

  • 항만 및 공장용지 확보를 위한 해안 매립 시 해저 펌프준설 등의 방법을 이용하여 준설토를 활용하고 있으며, 육상의 경우에도 조립준설토를 성토재로 활용하려는 노력이 진행되고 있다. 서해안 지역의 해저바닥에 분포하는 원지반은 실트질 모래 또는 모래질 실트가 남해안과 동해안에 비해서 많이 분포하고 있고, 다른 연안에 비해 입자 또한 크다. 이러한 특성을 지닌 준설토는 침강과 압밀의 과정도 준설점토와 다른 거동 특성을 보인다. 본 연구에서는 서해안 지역의 비소성준설토를 매립재료로 활용하기 위한 연구의 일환으로 서해안(새만금)지역의 준설매립지반에 대해 모형실험을 실시하여 동다짐 에너지 변화에 따른 원지반의 상대밀도 및 N값의 변화를 예측할 수 있는 예측식을 제안하고, 효율적인 지반설계를 위한 동다짐 에너지를 산정하였다.

  • 준설매립지반은 준설토에 의해 매립되어 지반이 매우 연약한 상태이며, 설계시 정확한 지지력을 예측하는 것은 더욱 힘들다. 실제 준설매립지를 대상으로 여러 가지 연약지반처리공법을 설계하고 있지만, 특히 준설토지반의 특성에 기인한 장비진입 즉 표층처리공법 또한 문제점을 안고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하고자 연약지반에서 적용 할 수 있는 평판재하시험장치를 개발하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 준설매립현장을 대상으로 현장에서 개발된 평판재하시험을 이용하여 현장시험을 실시하였으며, 아울러 콘테스트만의 결과를 가지고 준설토지반의 지지력을 구하는 실험식을 제안하고자 하였다. 대부분 준설매립지반은 매립경과시간에 따라 표면건조층의 두께가 달라지게 되므로 본 연구에서 제안한 실험식이 매우 효과적인 방법이라 판단되며, 향후 준설토 매립지반의 공법설계시 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • Recently, the gap between demand and supply of natural aggregate has increased owing to the depletion of aggregate sources. Therefore, policy support is necessary for the stable supply of aggregate resources. Public and construction works experience problems when they do not receive a steady supply of aggregate. Further, instabilities in aggregate supply lead to increases in aggregate prices, and consequently construction costs. As a result, the likelihood of poor construction using low-grade aggregate increases. It is therefore crucial to put measures in place that deal with these issues. This study aims to reduce the load imposed by aggregate use on the environment by recycling soil dredged from sewage ducts to reduce the gap between supply and demand of fine aggregate. The dredged soil is assessed using an applicability test for quality characteristics and solidification with basic properties. This study aims to secure the safety of dredging soil and solidified objects through interior physical and chemical analyses and to utilize it as a base material for concrete solidification in the future.

  • This study investigates reducing characteristics for the spreading of dredged soil and the diffusion of contaminant by silt protector curtain through three dimensional numerical experiment. The numerical medel is modified by combining the sediment transport characteristics for cohesive sediment into the previously developed model. Several numerical experiments have been given in order to investigate the reducing effect of silt protector using two dimensional numerical channel model under various parameters such as upstream flow velocity, depth of silt curtain and the position of dumped materials. Through the evaluation of several simulation results, we knew that the careful design has to be given in the determination of depth and position of silt protector.
