  • This paper describes a dedicated three-dimensional CAD system for design of drawing dies for automotive body panels. Since solid die models are useful not only for simulations for design verification, but also for NC tool path generation to machine dies and their Styrofoam patterns, 3-D CAD systems have been introduced in the tooling shop of automotive manufacturers. However, the work to build solid models requires a lot of time and effort if the designer uses only the general modeling capabilities of commercial 3-D CAD systems. To solve this problem, we customized a 3-D CAD system for the drawing die design. The system provides not only 3-D design capabilities, but also standard part libraries to enhance design productivity. By introducing this system, the drawing dies can be designed more rapidly in the 3-D space, and their solid data can be directly transferred to CAM tools for NC tool path generation and simulation tools for virtual manufacturing

Development of High Sensible Fabrics Using Worsted Yarn Drawing Technology (소모사 연신기술 이용 고감성 직물소재 개발)

  • Recently, the $"Optim"^{(R)}$ which is the wool fibre with high lustre developed by CSIRO in Australia is imported and commercialized as a high sensible fabrics for garment. But the price of this $"Optim"^{(R)}$ fibre is very high so material demand and supply is not smooth. This study is aiming to develop the drawing technology of the worsted yarn with washable function, lustre and low production cost. For this purpose, drawing yarns are made using developed drawing machine and high sensible fabrics are woven using this yarns, and various physical properties of the fabric specimen are measured and analysed with garment characteristics such as sewability and formability. The final objective of this study is seemed to be achieved by making the high sensible fabrics using drawing worsted yarns with high lustre such as $"Optim"^{(R)}$ fibre.

  • The machining Parts must be Produced within the specification of drawing and those will be able to meet faction and efficiency. At that time, it is very important not only precision machine and machining technique but also the measurement technique. So, the improvement of measurement technique is to be joined together at once with improvement of machining technique. Finally, the quality and value of the parts are decided by precision measurement. This paper aims to study on the measurement uncertainty when the machined parts are inspected with 3-dimensional coordinate measuring machine. The objectives remove an error of measurement and remove a quality of mass products.

  • This study is an introduction of ADS in which we have written out programs which can design three-dimensional machine parts and reduce the required time for design them comparing with other CADs. Among the machine parts, screws are commonly used in joining one part to another because of easy handing but welding and rivet are used to join permanently them even thought hard operation. Consequently, we have developed the screw fer permanent fixing using stairs type screw threads, which is considered as the main machine parts in joining. For that, we designed permanent fastened screws according to the different rotation angle using VisualLISP and transferred it to ANSYS, structural solution program, to find out allowance load, maximum equivalent stress and where it occur.

  • The working tactor of this study, an agriculture machine, is consisted of 4 wheel driving system with gear trains and 4-type wheel steering system. Since technological regions for 4 wheel driving system and 4-type wheel steering system are some large, we divide on two studies on 4 wheel driving system and 4-type wheel steering system This study develops transmission and axle that are very important units for strong working operation because the power of tractor is largely affected by transmission and axle. Even if the development of the power train is some common technology, it is very complicated work and needs many experience know-hows. So, for new given specifications fitted to the working tractor, a kind of new agriculture machine, this study haws out processes that are development of assembly drawing and strength analysis through classical method and CAE software for all internal parts and housing cases.

  • Early diagnosis and intervention of dementia is critical to minimize future risk and cost for patients and their families. The purpose of this study was to develop and validate Figure-Copy Test(FCT), as a new dementia screening test, that can measure neurological damage and cognitive impairment, and then to examine whether the grading precesses for screening can be automated through machine learning procedure by using FCT imag es. For this end, FCT, Korean version of MMSE for Dementia Screening (MMSE-DS) and Clock Drawing Test were administrated to a total of 270 participants from normal and damaged elderly groups. Results demonstrated that FCT scores showed high internal constancy and significant correlation coefficients with the other two test scores. Discriminant analyses showed that the accuracy of classification for the normal and damag ed g roups using FCT were 90.8% and 77.1%, respectively, and these were relatively higher than the other two tests. Importantly, we identified that the participants whose MMSE-DS scores were higher than the cutoff but showed lower scores in FCT were successfully screened out through clinical diagnosis. Finally, machine learning using the FCT image data showed an accuracy of 73.70%. In conclusion, our results suggest that FCT, a newly developed drawing test, can be easily implemented for efficient dementia screening.

  • after using dom die, this sheet pressed from a variation condition of size, of die holder power,of rpm speed, accordingly the kind of material, the conditionof deformation movement between both sheets is analyzed, is investigated in the Press machine. even if the change quantity which formed raises a blank holder pressure, the change quantity which is special is not visible from the segment where there is not a bead, the segment where there is a bead to the other side does change quantity schedule to initially and the features of press holding power which the change quantity diminishes is showed consequently from pressurization change quantity it is visible but until a rupture territory from the rpm, it goes but the features where the change quantity does not change a lot is observationd, from the CR2-sheet the quality comes out though well but a possibility of getting a result under same conditions of AL-sheet does not become the formation which stands is. It is like that though press-die which uses the drawing-sheet it exchanges the sheets, when AL-sheet with doing, the conclusion for maintain which have a formation sincerity healthy characteristic is same with afterwords.

  • In this paper, we propose a method that recognize hatched area based on segmentation and vectorization of a machine drawing. This recogntion of hatched area is composed of three parts. First, the proposed method segments an object, arrowheads and interpretation lines from the machine drawing and vectorizes the object and interpretation lines. Second, closed-loops are labeled with the vectorized objects, and then candidates of hatched areas arc determined. Finally, by recognizing hatched lines included in hatched areas, recognition of the hatched areas is completed. The proposed method is more useful in extracting and recognizing the hatched areas.
