바닥급기 시스템의 거주역 공조를 위한 설계 기법 및 에너지 절감 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design Techniques and Effectiveness in Energy Saving of Occupied Zone in UFAD System)

  • Underfloor air distribution system is generally known to be more energy-saving and provide more comfort as compared with overhead air distribution system. In practice, however, some buildings to which underfloor air distribution system is applied have less effectiveness in saving energy and are getting dissatisfaction with cold draft caused by wind velocity of air distribution in terms of comfort. It is judged that such problems are due to failure to consider properties of underfloor air distribution system in applying it and identical design with the design standards for the existing overhead air distribution system. This study aims at introducing an air conditioning type of the occupied zone for underfloor all distribution system to see its effectiveness in saving energy for air conditioning of the occupied zone through a comparative simulation with the existing air conditioning type.

공동주택 거실의 냉방방식에 따른 열환경 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of the Thermal Environment in the Cooling System at the Apartment)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficiency of the thermal environment created by the cooling system at the apartment that combines the forced convection cooling(the system reducing humidity from room) with the floor cooling radiation which uses the floor panel from floor heating system, a general residential heating system in Korea. In this study, the combined cooling system in which air supply, spurt temperature difference and interior draft are reduced, is compared with the existing forced convection cooling system. To identify the effect of the comparison concretely, a comparative experiment is carried out on tour conditions, ie, convection cooling, floor radiation convection cooling and floor radiation cooling. Through it the characteristical thermal environment formed within the model room is analyzed, and the conveying system of compressed floor chill and condensation problem are reviewed.

  • This paper is the result of a study conducted in the ship concept design stage on the concept of system integration of the submarine rescue systems to be mounted and operated on the next submarine rescue ship (ASR-II Batch II) of the Korean Navy. In this paper, the concept of realization of naval ship system integration is considered, the operational concept of the next submarine rescue ship is analyzed, the requirements of the rescue operation system were analyzed, and the conceptual architecture (draft) of the rescue operation system was designed and proposed to meet the naval ship system integration policy.

습식 배연탈황 시스템의 효율 향상을 위한 전산해석 (Computational Fluid Dynamic Analysis for Improving the Efficiency of Desulfurization System for the Wet Flue Gas)

  • 본 논문에서는 CFDRC 사의 상용 CFD 소프트웨어인 CFD-ACE+로 전산유체역학 기법을 적용하여 수치 해석을 수행하여 배연탈황 설비에서 Induced Draft Fan(I.D.Fan) 출구부터 Booster Up Fan(B.U.Fan) 입구까지 난류 유동장과 연소 유동 문제를 모사하여 배기가스 계통 설비의 유동 특성을 해석하였다. 배기가스가 I.D.Fan 출구 ~ B.U.Fan 입구 구간을 적정속도로 균일하게 유동하여 B.U.Fan로 균일하게 유입되도록 하며 압력손실이 적게 발생하도록 설계기준 보일러 부하와 최대연속 정격유량의 보일러 부하에서 이 구간의 안내깃을 검토하였다. 검토한 결과에 대해 CFD 해석을 수행하여 I.D.Fan 출구에서 안내깃을 제거하고 B.U.Fan 입구 전에 안내깃을 보강할 수 있도록 설계를 변경하였다. 배기가스 계통에 변경된 설계를 적용하여 수치모사한 결과에서 배연탈황 설비 내부의 배기가스 압력손실이 줄어들고 유속과 유선이 균일하게 유동할 수 있어 배연탈황 시스템의 효율이 향상한 것을 확인하였다.

Hydrodynamic interactions and coupled dynamics between a container ship and multiple mobile harbors

  • As the size of container ships continues to increase, not many existing harbors can host the super-container ship due to its increased draft and the corresponding dredging requires huge budget. In addition, the minimization of waiting and loading/offloading time is the most important factor in harbor competitiveness. In this regard, mobile-harbor concept has been developed in Korea to achieve much improved harbor capacity and efficiency. In developing the concept, one of the most important elements is the operability of crane between two or more floating bodies in side-by-side arrangement. The container ship is to be stationed through a hawser connection to an outside-harbor fixed-pile station with the depth allowing its large draft. The mobile harbors with smart cranes are berthed to the sides of its hull for loading/offloading containers and transportation. For successful operation, the relative motions between the two or more floating bodies with hawser/fender connections have to be within allowable range. Therefore, the reliable prediction of the relative motions of the multiple floating bodies with realistic mooring system is essential to find the best hull particulars, hawser/mooring/fender arrangement, and crane/docking-station design. Time-domain multi-hull-mooring coupled dynamic analysis program is used to assess the hydrodynamic interactions among the multiple floating bodies and the global performance of the system. Both collinear and non-collinear wind-wave-current environments are applied to the system. It is found that the non-collinear case can equally be functional in dynamics view compared to the collinear case but undesirable phenomena associated with vessel responses and hawser tensions can also happen at certain conditions, so more care needs to be taken.

방송 콘텐츠 보호를 위한 MPEG-21 IPMP 기반의 메타데이터 저작 시스템 (Metadata production system based on MPEG-21 IPMP for protection of broadcasting contents)

  • MPET(Moving Picture Experts Group)-21 IPMP(Intellectual Property Management and Protection)는 디지털 콘텐츠가 생성, 전달, 소비를 거치는 과정에서 디지털 콘텐츠를 안전하게 다루기 위한 표준을 정의하는 것으로 FCD(Final Committee Draft) 단계까지 표준화가 이루어졌다. 그리고 급증하는 방송 콘텐츠의 저작권을 보호 관리하기 위하여 최신 표준화 내용을 적용한 시스템 개발이 요구되고 있다. 현재 방송 콘텐츠를 보호 관리하는 시스템은 크게 저작 서버, 툴 서버, 라이센스 서버, 소비 서버의 네 개 구조로 구분하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 라이센스 서버로부터 전송된 콘텐츠의 정보가 담긴 REL(Rights Expression Language) 문서 파싱 기능과 워터마크가 적용된 콘텐츠에 대한 MPEG-21 IPMP 기반의 메타데이터 생성 및, Remuxing과정을 거친 데이터를 암호화하여 소비 서버로 전송하는 저작 시스템에 대하여 설계 및 구현을 하였다.

ITU-R의 협대역 이동위성업무를 위한 주파수 분배 연구 현황 (ITU-R Study on Frequency Allocation to Narrowband Mobile Satellite Services (NB-MSS))

  • As the global demand for satellite IoT services using small satellites increases, interest in their frequency requirements has also increased. Consequently, International Telecommunication Union Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R) preparatory studies for WRC-23 include AI 1.18, which considers new frequency allocations for narrowband mobile satellites. This agenda item was issued in accordance with Resolution 284 (WRC-19), and contributions and reviews by government and satellite operators are underway at ITU-R SG4 WP4C with the aim of completing the study in 2023. Resolution 248 (WRC-19) considers the conditions for transmission of candidate bands and satellites and terminals for narrowband mobile satellite, and all contributions should satisfy narrowband mobile satellite system characteristics parameters within these conditions. However, among the current transmission specifications, there are several views on the exact definition of satellite e.i.r.p., and the derivation schedule of characteristic system parameters for the study is slower than that of the original work schedule. The goal of this paper is to examine the outline of WRC-23 AI 1.18 and the main content of Resolution 284 (WRC-19) and to determine the status of studies related to WRC-23 AI 1.18. The ITU-R's study on this agenda includes updating work schedules, developing the draft required spectrum and system characteristics parameter reports/recommendations, developing draft CPM reports, and examining the various views of transmission specifications in Resolution 284 (WRC-19). Focusing on candidate bands in Region 1 (Europe and Africa) and Region 2 (America), the current status of use in Korea is investigated and future countermeasures in Korea are investigated. In addition, we would like to examine the trend of narrowband mobile satellite through satellite frequency and service status and planning of satellite IoT operators, such as EchoStar, Omnispace, and Sateliot that are participating in the ITU-R study.

ILO 안전보건경영세스템지침 확정

  • 그동안 관심을 모았던 국제적인 안전보건경영시스템(OSH-MS : Occupational Safety and Health management System)이 국제노동기구(ILO)에 의해 개발되어 발표 되었다. 지난 6우러 "국제노동기구의 안전보건경영시스템 지침(ILO Guidelines on Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems)"이란 제목으로 국제노동기구에서 공개했는데, 이것은 작년부터 국제 노동기구가 2001. 6울에 확정 지침을 발표하겠다고 밝힌 이후 나온 것으로써 지난 2우러 공개한 '안전보건경영체제에 대한 기술지침 초안' (Draft ILO Guidelines on Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems)을 4.19~27일 전문가 회의를 개최를 통해 수정 발표한 것이다. 따라서 이번 호에서는 지난 2월 공개된 초안과 6월에 확정된 지침을 비교하면서 확정지침의 내용을 소개 한다.

  • KARI had developed an Local Area Augmentation System for aircraft precision landing as following ICAO SARPs(Standards and Recommended Practices) draft and FAA's recommended algorithm( carrier smoothing techniques). JPO in charge of managing GPS has introduced the signal structure of GPS modernization program. This paper estimates the accuracy performance of KARI-LAAS with modernized GPS signal but the same processing algorithm.

발전용 보일러 억제 자동화 경향

  • 이미 주지하고 있는 모든 산업분야에서 자동제어를 채택하고 있는 근본 이유는 품질향상, 제품의 균일성향상, Energy 절약(효율향상), 원료절약, 설비이용향상, 인간의 단조로운 천업감소, (운전원의 효율성 증대) 때문이라고 요약 할 수 있다. 1910년경 Draft 및 급수제어 분야에서 부터 경제성 기술성 및 이용 요청에 따라 Boiler Control이 사용되어 왔으며 他 기술은 놀라울 정도로 발달한 반면, 이 분야는 변화가 거의 서서히 일어났다. 과거 50년 전부터 Boiler 자동제어기술은 관련 분야의 기술적 개발과 경제적 이유로 아래와 같이 여섯 단계의 발전과정을 거쳐 이제부터는 Digital 특히 Distributed Digital (기능 분산 형 System) 개발 및 산업적용에의 움직임이 활발할 것이다. 여기서 화력발전 Boiler 자동화의 어제와 오늘 그리고 내일에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.
