We address a question of what are three main channels that can best translate other channels in ultraviolet (UV) and extreme UV (EUV) observations. For this, we compare the image translations among the nine channels of the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly on the Solar Dynamics Observatory using a deep learning model based on conditional generative adversarial networks. In this study, we develop 170 deep learning models: 72 models for single-channel input, 56 models for double-channel input, and 42 models for triple-channel input. All models have a single-channel output. Then we evaluate the model results by pixel-to-pixel correlation coefficients (CCs) within the solar disk. Major results from this study are as follows. First, the model with 131 Å shows the best performance (average CC = 0.84) among single-channel models. Second, the model with 131 and 1600 Å shows the best translation (average CC = 0.95) among double-channel models. Third, among the triple-channel models with the highest average CC (0.97), the model with 131, 1600, and 304 Å is suggested in that the minimum CC (0.96) is the highest. Interestingly they are representative coronal, photospheric, and chromospheric lines, respectively. Our results may be used as a secondary perspective in addition to primary scientific purposes in selecting a few channels of an UV/EUV imaging instrument for future solar satellite missions.

In this paper a double edge triggered (DET) filp-flop is proposed which changes its output state at both the positive and the negative edge transitions of the triggering input. DET filp-flop has advantages in terms of speed and power dissipation over single edge triggered (SET) filp-flop has proposed DET flip-flop needs only 12 MOS transistors and can operate at clock speed of 500 MHz. Also, the power dissipation has decreased about 33% in comparison to SET flip-flop.

This paper presents an useful technique for assessing the volumetric error in multi_axis machine tools using the kinematic double ball bar and 3 dimensional spherical contouring. The developed system proposes the 3 dimensional spherical contour for the error analysis. The developed system input the measured radial data, analysing the volumetric errors such as positional, strightness, angle, and squareness errors, etc. The developed system has been tested in a practical machine tool, and showed high
This paper presents development of double-K fracture model for the split-tension cube specimen for determining the unstable fracture toughness and initial cracking toughness of concrete. There are some advantages of using of split-tension cube test like compactness and lightness over the existing specimen geometries in practice such as three-point bend test, wedge splitting test and compact tension specimen. The cohesive toughness of the material is determined using weight function having four terms for the split-tension cube specimen. Some empirical relations are also suggested for determining geometrical factors in order to calculate stress intensity factor and crack mouth opening displacement for the same specimen. The results of double-K fracture parameters of split-tension cube specimen are compared with those obtained for compact tension specimen. Finally, the influence of the width of the load-distribution of split-tension cube specimen on the double-K fracture parameters for laboratory size specimens is investigated. The input data required for determining double-K fracture parameters for both the specimen geometries are obtained using well known version of the Fictitious Crack Model.

In this paper, a double-input single-output architecture of a LNA(Low Noise Amplifier) is presented to enable to be devised for light weight and small-sized OTM(On-The-Move) satellite communication system suitable to be mounted on vehicles. In spite of advantages of the double-input single-output architecture of a LNA such as reduction of the number of physical channels, it results in time-varying phase error between a fundamental mode path and a high-order mode path. This paper shows that the error can be corrected by adding pilot signals to the LNA and using signal processing, and also gives the measurement data to use the method mentioned above.
In this study, S-Band receiver for low orbit satellite is implemented. The developed receiver is double super-heterodyne type and STDN compatible. Input/output frequency of receiver is 2034.747MHz and 18.414MHz used for KOMPSAT 2 satellite. Overall gain(@AGC=0V) and image rejection were 92.4dB and 50.2dB respectively. It was verified that receiver has stable performance to the temperature limit, power supply voltage variation and input signal level range.
A passive power converter operating on the principle of parametric excitation, called Parametric transformer, is analyzed. The energy transfer from the input to the output is achieved through the double frequency variation of magnetic path reluctance to the input frequency without mutual flux coupling between two windings. Thus, output becomes available which is essentially independant of waveform of excitation. The mathmatical model of the device is developed and its solution is obtained. The outstanding characteristics of the device is explained from the analysis.

A new fully differential sample-and-hold circuit which can effectively compensate the offset voltage of an operational amplifier and the charge injection of a MOS switch is presented. The proposed circuit shows a true sample-and-hold function without a reset period or an input-track period. The prototype fabricated using a 1.2$\mu$m double-polysilicon CMOS process occupies an area of 550$\mu$m$\times$288$\mu$m and the error of the sampled ouput is 0.056% on average for 3V input at DC.

When a USB digital camera is used for PC video-conference applications, motion picture data need to be transferred to the PC through the USB port. Due to the mismatch between the data rates of the USB and the motion picture, data compression should be performed before the transmission from the USB. While many motion picture compression algorithms require large intermediate memory space, the JPEG algorithm does not need to store an entire frame for the compression. Instead, a relatively small buffer is required at the input of the JPEG compression engine to resolve the inconsistency between the orders of the inputted data and the consumed data. Data reordering can be easily implemented using a double buffering scheme, which still requires a considerable size of memory. In this paper, a novel memory management scheme is proposed to avoid the double buffering. The proposed memory architecture requires a small amount of memory and a simple address generation scheme, resulting in overall cost reduction.

In order to use the Massive MIMO (Multi Input Multi Output) technology using the massive array antenna, it is essential to know the angle of arrival (AOA) of the signal. When using a massive array antenna, the existing AOA estimation algorithm has excellent estimation performance, but also has a disadvantage in that computational complexity increases in proportion to the number of antenna elements. To solve this problem, a cascade AOA estimation algorithm has been proposed and the performance of a single-shaped (non)massive array antenna has been proven through a number of papers. However, the computational complexity of the cascade AOA estimation algorithm to which single and double rim array antennas are applied has not been compared. In this paper, we compare and analyze the computational complexity for AOA estimation when single and double rim array antennas are applied to the cascade AOA estimation algorithm.
