Design of a DOS-Based Experimental Embedded Web Server (DOS에 기반한 실험적 내장형 웹 서버의 설계)

  • 웹 브라우저를 사용하여 각종 장치에 대한 감시 및 제어를 할 수 있게 하는 내장형 웹 시스템에 대한 관심이 최근 급격히 증가하고 있다. 이 시스템의 핵심인 내장형 웹 서버는 장치에 부속되는 특성상 하드웨어 자원 사용에 큰 제한이 있으며, 고전적인 유닉스 둥의 일반 목적 대형 운영체제가 아니라 한정된 목적의 소형 운영체제상에서 운영된다. 따라서 내장형 웹 서버는 여태까지 연구 되어온 기존의 Desktop 웹 서버에 비해 매우 큰 차이를 보인다. 본 논문에서는 실험적 내장형 웹 서버의 설계 및 구현에 대해 고찰해 본다. 여기서는 특히 x86 계통 시스템에 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 DOS 운영체제 기반의 웹 서버에 대해 연구하였다 DOS가 제공하는 운영체제 서비스 상에서 소규모 다중태스크 실행환경을 구축하였으며, KA9Q NOS의 TCP/IP 프로토콜 스택을 이식하여 인터넷 접속환경을 실현했다. 이 기반 위에서 HTTP 서버를 설치하였으며, 별도의 응용 프로그램과 연동되어 장치에 대한 제어 및 감시가 이루어진다. 실험은 80486DX-2 단일기판 컴퓨터 상에서 이루어졌으며 제한된 하드웨어 자원하에서 매우 우수한 서비스 특성을 나타내는 것을 확인하였다.

Generation of a adaptive tetrahedral refinement mesh for GaAs full band monte carlo simulation (풀밴드 GaAs monte carlo 시뮬레이션을 위한 최적사면체격자의 발생)

  • A dadaptive refinement tetrahedron mesh has been presented for using in full band GaAs monte carlo simulation. A uniform tetrahedron mesh is used without regard to energy values and energy variety in case of the past full band simulation. For the uniform tetrahedron mesh, a fine tetrahedron is demanded for keeping up accuracy of calculation in the low energy region such as .GAMMA.-valley, but calculation time is vast due to usin gthe same tetrahedron in the high energy region. The mesh of this study, thererfore, is consisted of the fine mesh in the low energy and large variable energy region and rough mesh n the high energy. The density of states (DOS) calculated with this mesh is compared with the one of the uniform mesh. The DOS of this mesh is improved th efive times or so in root mean square error and the ten times in the correlation coefficient than the one of a uniform mesh. This refinement mesh, therefore, can be used a sthe basic mesh for the full band GaAs monte carlo simulation.

  • We suggest AKL(abstract kernel layer) to. the design and implementation of WAP on basis of multi-platform. AKL is running on the various kernel including REX, MS-DOS, MS-Windows, UNIX and LINUX. For the purpose of it, AKL makes machine-dependant features be minimized and supports a consistent interface on API(application program interface) point of views. Therefore, It makes porting times of a device be shorten and makes easy of maintenance. We validated our suggestion as a consequent of porting WAP into PalmV PDA and mobile phone with AKL.

  • 현재 기술 동향에 따라, 언제 어디서나 통신 및 컴퓨팅이 가능한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 시스템(Ubiquitous Computing System)을 위해 사용자 및 주변 환경의 상황을 인식하는 기술(Context-Aware Computing System)이 필수적인 요소로 부각되고 있다. 하지만, Context-Aware Computing System을 구현하기 위해서 사용자 및 주변 환경으로부터 입력되는 불확실하거나 모호한 상황정보에 대한 표현과 추론에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이를 해결하기 위해 Rule-based System을 기반으로 CRS와 DOS의 개념을 도입하여 상황인식 기술을 SoC로 구현할 수 있도록 새로운 Architecture를 제안한다. 마지막으로는 CRS와 DOS가 Network Topolgy에 적용된 RODMRP(Resilient Ontology-based Dynamic Multicast Routing Protocol)의 예를 통해 그 효용성을 입증하고, Ubiquitous Computing System에서 활용 가능한 방법 등을 제시한다.

  • This paper presents a method for building a real-time kernel of autonomous mobile robot control systems. Until now, most of robots have their own operation softwares dedicated only for their use. Sometimes, operation softwares were developed based on MS-DOS or other real -time kernel based on UNIX. However, MS-DOS has many restrictions for use as a robot operation system. Also, mix based real-time kernel has some Limitations for use with mobile robots. So, in this paper, we focus on building a real-time kernel based on Linux. The in this paper, the software modules of Task Management, Memory Management, Intertask Communication, and Synchronization are redesigned. To show the efficiency of the paper, it was applied to run Nomad Super Scout II avoiding obstacles detected by sonar sensor array.

  • The cloud computing is technology which gives flexible and solid infrastructure to IT environment. With this technology multiple computing environment can be consolidated in to a single server so that maximize system resource utilization. Better processing power can be achieved with less system resource. IT manager can cope with increasing unnecessary cost for additional server and management cost as well. This means a enterprise is able to provide services with better quality and create new services with surplus resource. The time required for recovery from system failure will be reduced from days to minutes. Enhanced availability and continuity of enterprise business minimize the codt and the risk produced by service discontinuity. In this paper, we propose framework architecture that is strong against denial-of-service attack.

  • The band structures and the densities of states at the Fermi energy for rutile, anatase and brookite phases are investigated along with the structure-photocatlaytic relationship by using DFT method. Bands are less dispersive in anatase phase than in rutile phase, and they are almost flat in brookite phase. As a result, the DOS value near the Fermi energy for brookite is highest among three types of $TiO_{2}$, which means that the numbers of electrons near the Fermi energy are largest in brookite. The calculation shows that brookite phase may exhibit highest photocatalytic efficiency among three types of $TiO_{2}$.

  • This paper presents the design and implementation of a File Transfer Protocol between PC's which are connected through public network. The file handling system was implemented under 3B20S/UNIX which has connections to IBM-PC under MS-DOS. In designing the Protocol we use Kerimit Protocol which supports a file transfer between several kinds of PC's, and we extended the Kermit Protocol to have window function and file managing system. Users prepare data at PC and are able to send it to host computer and can receive, inquire, and delete file in host computer.

  • In this paper we design and implement a method for application programs to allow handling of large data files in DOS environment. In this method we use extended memory and hard disk as a data buffer. And we use a part of the conventional DOS memory as a buffer cache which allows the application program to use extended memory and hard disks transparently. Using buffer cache also allows us some speed improvement for the application program.

ATC: An Image-based Atmospheric Correction Software in MATLAB and SML

  • An image-based atmospheric correction software ATC is implemented using MATLAB and SML (Spatial Modeler Language in ERDAS IMAGINE), and it was tested using Landsat TM/ETM+ data. This ATC has two main functional modules, which are composed of a semiautomatic type and an automatic type. The semi-automatic functional module includes the Julian day (JD), Earth-Sun distance (ESD), solar zenith angle (SZA) and path radiance (PR), which are programmed as individual small functions. For the automatic functional module, these parameters are computed by using the header file of Landsat TM/ETM+. Three atmospheric correction algorithms are included: The apparent reflectance model (AR), one-percent dark object subtraction technique (DOS), and cosine approximation model (COST). The ACT is efficient as well as easy to use in a system with MATLAB and SML.
