This paper presents channel estimation of an asynchronous W-CDMA reverse link using the interpolation and moving average algorithm in frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channel. The proposed algorithm is an interpolated decision-directed (IDD) block-wise moving average (BWMA) algorithm. The IDD-BWMA algorithm performs two- stage processes. The first stage performs data decision to make a virtual pilot channel by using linear interpolation channel estimation scheme. Then, the second stage performs the channel estimation of the “block-wise moving average” type by using a virtual pilot channel obtained in the first stage. By using Monte-Carlo computer simulations, we show that the proposed channel estimator is superior to other estimation schemes such as the WMSA(K=1) and DD-RAKE at higher Doppler frequencies, especially.
We have gone into details about the velocity calibration of sinusoidal mode for Mossbauer spectrometer. Since sinusoidal Mossbauer spectrometer has a ${\gamma}$-ray source that oscillates at the end of loudspeaker with the natural frequency. Doppler velocity is accurate and stable. From the analyzing Mossbauer spectra of $Fe_3O_4$ and U $Fe_3O_4$ (unbalanced $Fe_3O_4$), we have shown the power of correct velocity for sinusoidal mode.
This paper is studid the flow analysis of cardio vascular assist device. The experimental study is carried out to measure velocity profiles, Shear stress distributions and Velocity Vector for the flowrare of 4l/min, the frequency of 0.5Hz, the stroke volume of 60ml, the inlet and outlet pressure of 100mmHg by the L.D.V and P.I.V system. These results are agreed with the numerical simulations.
Acoustic sounds generated by uniform flow around a two-dimensional circular cylinder at Re=150 are simulated by applying the finite difference lattice Boltzmann method. A third-order-accurate up-wind scheme is used for the spatial derivatives. A second-order-accurate Runge-Kutta scheme is also used for time marching. Very small acoustic pressure fluctuation, with same frequency as that of Karman vortex street, is compared with pressure fluctuation around a circular cylinder. The propagation velocity of acoustic sound shows that acoustic approaching the upstream, due to the Doppler effect in uniform flow, slowly propagates. For the downstream, on the other hand, it quickly propagates. It is also apparent that the size of sound pressure is proportional to the central distance ${\gamma}$$\^$-1/2/ of the circular cylinder.

OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) scheme can compensate for distortions caused by multipath delay spread and reduce the burst errors caused by the Doppler effect since OFDM signals have long symbol durations. However, OFDM is required to be improved for high speed data transmission and large capacity. Therefore, coding schemes should be combined with OFDM. In this paper, it was studied that the performance of OFDM transmission scheme was improved in mobile communication channel by applying TCM, which has advantages of error correction and bandwidth efficiency. Simulation was carried out for two TCM models with different code efficient length. By mapping two models to square 16QAM, the model with the code efficient length of 2 achieved 3dB better than the other for the BER of 10/sub -3/. In conclusion, if we want to achieve a better performance with TCNA in OFDM applications, we should select a TCM with larger code efficient length.

Recently, collision avoidance systems are under development to reduce the traffic accidents and driver comfort for automotive radar. Pulse radar can detect their range and velocities of moving vehicles using range gate and FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) of the doppler frequency. We designed the real time DSP(Digital Signal Processing) based automotive UWB(Ultra Wideband) radar, and implemented DSP to detect the range and velocity within 100ms for real time system of the automotive UWB radar. We also measured the range and velocity of a moving vehicle using designed automotive UWB radar in a real road environment.
A GNSS receiver must perform signal acquisition to estimate the code phase and Doppler frequency of the incoming satellite signals, which are essential information for baseband signal processing. Modernized GNSS signals have different modulation schemes and long PRN code lengths from legacy signals, which makes it difficult to acquire the signals and increases the computational complexity and time. This paper proposes a novel FFT/Inverse-FFT with baseband resampling to resolve the aforementioned challenges. The suggested algorithm uses a single block only for the FFT and thereby requires less hardware resources than conventional structures such as Double Block Zero Padding (DBZP). Experimental results based on a MATLAB simulation show this algorithm can successfully acquire GPS L1C/A, GPS L2C, Galileo E1OS, and GPS L5.

The satellite navigation deception technology disturbs the navigation solution of the receiver by generating a deceptive signal simulating the actual satellite for the satellite navigation receiver mounted on the unmanned aerial vehicle, which is the target of deception. A single spoofing technique that creates a single deceptive position and velocity can be divided into a synchronized spoofing signal that matches the code delay, Doppler frequency, and navigation message with the real satellite and an unsynchronized spoofing signal that does not match. In order to generate a signal synchronized with a satellite signal, a very sophisticated and high precision signal generation technology is required. In addition, the current position and speed of the UAV equipped with the receiver must be accurately detected in real time. Considering the detection accuracy of the current radar technology that detects small UAVs, it is difficult to detect UAVs with an accuracy of less than one chip. In this paper, we assume the asynchrony of a single spoofing signal and propose a region defense technique using multiple spoofing signals.
This paper proposes a low-power waveform for a long-range air-to-air data link. In the case of an air-to-air data link, data communication is performed in the air and high Doppler shift may occur depending on the flight speed, so a waveform based on the non-coherent method is suitable. In addition, since it is mounted on an aircraft, it must have low power characteristics. This paper proposes a waveform that combines a modulation technique based on frequency modulation and pulse position modulation that can turn on/off the transmission signal. As a result of the performance analysis, it was shown that the performance was suitable for air-to-air operation while showing low power characteristics.

This paper presents a X-band doppler radar with high conversion gain using a self-oscillating-mixer(SOM) that oscillation and frequency mixing is realized at the same time. To improve phase noise of the SOM oscillator, a ${\lambda}/2$ slotted square patch resonator(SSPR) was proposed, which shows high Q-factor of 175.4 and the 50 % reduced circuit area compared to the conventional resonator. To implement the low power system, low biasing voltage of 1.7 V was supplied. To enhance the conversion gain of the SOM, bias circuit is configured near the pinch-off region of transistor, and the conversion gain was optimized. The output power of the proposed SOM was -3.16 dBm at 10.65 GHz. A high conversion gain of 9.48 dB was obtained whereas DC Power consumption is relatively low about 7.65 mW. The phase noise is -90.91 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset. The figure-of-merit(FOM) of the proposed SOM was measured as -181.8 dBc/Hz, which is supplier to other SOMs by more than about 7 dB.
