Having looked at the effect of "Eui Hak Ip Mun", published at the end of the 16th century, on "Dong Eui Bo Gam", Author have concluded that there is difference in the view regarding the concepts of understanding human body and diagnosing disease. Also, "Dong Eui Bo Gam" is using "Eui Hak Ip Mun" selectively to establish a new medical system.

Author have come to the conclusion that the contents in "Eui Rim Chwal Yo" are applied widely in "Dong Eui Bo Gam". Furthermore, "Eui Rim Chwal Yo" tends to have clear indication of sources unlike "Dong Eui Bo Gam"which does not. Further research into this factor is desirable in the future.

"Eui Bang Yoo Chui", completed in Se-jong Chosen era, has affected "Dong Eui Bo Gam" in various ways. I have proceeded to reveal these effects by undertaking comparative studies on the parts that overlap with each other. During this process, I was able to observe that classification used in "Dong Eui Bo Gam" was that of "Eui Bang Yoo Chui".

It is different from the DongEuiBoGam(東醫寶鑑) of Korea traditional medicine that China BeunJungLonChi(中醫辨證論治) was made for the scientific and systematic assortment of China medicine. Symptom(症)is more important than symptom complex(證)in china BeunJungLonChi at DonEuBoGam. And unusual symptoms generally are diseases in DongEuiBoGam. DongEuiBoGam is emphasis on body form, temper, body color, pulse(形氣色脈) and the functional difference of organs by body form and body color. there are many problems in order to unify the theory of Korea traditional medicine by china BeunJungLonChi. I suggest that a new assortment that can combine Sasang constitutional medicine(四象醫學), Constitution-Acupuncture(體質針), and Hyungsang medicine(四象醫學) will be necessary. BeunJungLonChi : diagnosis and treatment based on overall analysis of symptoms and signs, the cause, nature and location of the illness and the patient's physical condition according to the basic theories of traditional Chinese medicine

1. Purpose Through analysing simple herbs of "DongEuiBoGam JangBu", we compare JangBu of traditional oriental medicine with JangBu of Sasang Constitutional Medicine. So we can comprehend the JangBu's difference of traditional-oriental with sasang-constitional medicine. 2. Method We divide herbs into 4 sectors of sasang constitution by "DongMuYooGo", "DongEuiSuSeBoWon SinJunBang" and define constitutional herbs for each type of sasang constitution. On that base, we analyze herbs in "DongEuiBoGam JangBu" into sasang constitution, and compare with JangBu of sasang-constitution 3. Result (1) The simple herb of sasang-constition is over 50% at that of "DongEuiBoGam JangBu" (2) Only small intestine is consist of one-constitional herb, others is 2~4-constitional herb (3) At the simple herbs of "DongEuiBoGam JangBu", Soeumin's herbs many used at Spleen, Stomach, Urinary bladder, SamCho, Taeumin's herbs many used at Lung. At the Soeumin and Taemin, the Sasang JangBu of filling up BoMyungGiJu(保命之主) is connected with traditional JangBu. Soyangin's herbs many used at Heart, Gall bladder, Small intestine and there is no JangBu which Taeyangin's herbs many used. At the Soyangin and Taeyangin, the Sasang JangBu of filling up BoMyungGiJu(保命之主) is not connected with traditional JangBu.

Practical use of "So Mun Hyun Ki Won Byung Sik" on 'O Un Ju Byung' in "Dong Eui Bo Gam" has been analysed and is found that the author, Hur Jun of "Dong Eui Bo Gam", had applied "So Mun Hyun Ki Won Byung Sik" in explaining morphology of disease. Also, treatment and prescriptions were based on his personal opinion.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to find a way to apply current oriental pediatrics treatment guidelines based on a pediatric chapter in DongEuiBoGam. Methods I learned pediatrics prescription formula, indications of drugs, dosage regimen from DongEuiBoGam, and I classified herbs that can be used for pediatrics prescriptions based on their types, effects, tempers, flavors, toxicities, and attributive channels. Results & Conclusions I learned similarities among pediatrics prescription regimens and the herbs commonly used in pediatrics. Also, I found out physiological and pathological characteristics in pediatrics. I expect that this study would be helpful for current oriental pediatric treatments.

1. Purpose This study is intend to catch DongMu(東武)'s viewpoint of Chobongeun Soyangin prescription. 2. Method Through Comparing Chongeun Soyangin prescriptions and medications on those of DongEuiBoGam(東醫寶鑑), DongyiSooseBowon Gabobon and DongyiSooseBowon Sinchukbon, we can find DongMu(東武)'s viewpoint of Sasang Constitutional Medicine. 3. Results 1) The same Hi prescriptions between DongEuiBoGam(東醫寶鑑) and Chobongeun Soyangin are not entirely identical. 2) GamCho(甘草), GaengMi(粳米) and Sagunja(使君子) were used in the Chobongeun Soyangin prescriptions. that means DongMu(東武)'s viewpoint of Sasang Constitutional Medicine was not entirely established. 3) PaedockSan(敗毒散), VukmijihwangTang(六味地黃湯) and BaekhoTang(白虎湯) were representative prescriptions in the Chobongeun Soyangin prescriptions. And that prescriptions were connected to DongyiSooseBowon Sinchukbon. 4) The same kind medications which were record on DongEuiBoGam(東醫寶鑑) and Chobongeun Soyangin are eighteen. And that medications are the structural principle of Chobongeun Soyangin prescriptions.

There were six academic journals on oriental medicine, published in the era of Japanese imperialism(1910-1945). Six academic journals are "Han bang eui yak kyei 漢方醫藥界", "Dong eui bo gam 東醫報鑑", "Dong seo eui hak bo 東西醫學報", "Cho sun eui hak kyei 朝鮮醫學界", "Dong seo eui hak yeon ku hoi wol bo 東西醫學硏究會月報", "Dong yang eui yak 東洋醫藥". These journals published 33rd volume with sequence. Research into these journals has derived the conclusion that the academic trend at the time were, firstly, the interaction between western and eastern medicine, secondly, researches on "Nai Kyung 內經", "Sang Han Ron 傷寒論", "Dong eui bo gam 東醫寶鑑" and finally, promotion of development of oriental medicine by looking at the advantages of western medicine.
