  • As COVID-19 made it difficult to travel abroad and attract domestic tourists to foreigners, the phenomenon of MZ generations flocking to Jeju through consumption patterns occurred. In this study, if Jeju Island uses Jeju's rural tourism and smart glasses to study how to attract and cope with domestic tourists after the pandemic and build a mobile application or smart glass to tour based on village maps, the docent guide service through smart glasses will help tourists. Furthermore, it would be very beneficial to introduce a location-based service to provide the necessary information at the location according to the movement path of tourists. In fact, we conclude that it can be implemented through the development of the Hansung Baekje Museum, and hope that the actual media can be applied to free tourist courses such as Jeju Olle Trail, as it provides various contents in selective development such as AR and VR.

  • A lot of foreign objects(ceramics, pottery, bronze, glassware and coins, etc.) have been found in the archaeological sites in Korea. These foreign objects are the evidences of the cultural exchanges of that time, whose scale and routes are an important part of the studies in ancient history. So it is crucial to accumulate basic reference information such as the raw materials and the production method of these objects through scientific researches, along with archeological researches. These scientific research materials provide a basis for finding the importing route and the origin of these objects. Besides, we can find out extraordinary and distinctive production technique by comparison with tile domestic objects. This article reports the result of an analysis, performing on 36 samples of the glassware fragments excavated from the South Tomb of the Hwangnamdaechong, to verify their components and note peculiar features. We have analyzed the major and minor components of 10 elements, and then by using these data examined the differences in the composition of components, varying with the origin and color of glassware. We used the PCA(principal component analysis) as the statistical method to classify the sample in order to find out how the samples formed groups.

  • The contribution made by the tourism sector is strategic enough to provide job opportunities and increase the state's foreign exchange which will be followed by development in the information and technology sectors. The population of this study includes all domestic tourists who visit the Batu City Angkut Museum over 17 years of age and who have obtained information via eWOM from other tourists. Based on the measurement, a minimum of 160 respondents must be selected as the research sample. Non-probability sampling techniques are used to select samples. Social media had been used by companies to provide information, services, and products related to tourism, and it was utilized by tourists to share information about their traveling experiences. Nowadays, tourists have become more selective and critical in selecting their destinations as they have become good observant in finding adequate information about certain destinations before deciding to visit the place. This reaction can be influenced by positive eWOM communication, positive image, and trust given to certain tourist destinations. Therefore, improving the number of visits requires the management of certain tourism service companies to apply proper marketing strategy and provide various advantages and best service quality to attract more visitors and give satisfaction to visitors.

  • With the recent proliferation of Hallyu content, national interest in Korea and the demand for designs with traditional Korean patterns as a motif is on the rise. In addition, as customers' design requirements tend to value more and more detailed and differentiated handcrafted designs, research on the motifs used in nail experts' original nail design development and nail design is continuously needed. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to expand the scope of nail design motifs with high practical value by producing nail design works applying plant patterns of Wadang, used during the Unified Silla Period, and to diversify nail art expression techniques. The research reviewed domestic and foreign literature related to Wadang during the Unified Silla Period, analyzed the collection at the National Museum of Korea, and categorized the motifs based on the characteristics of plant patterns and Wadang during the Unified Silla Period. The tangible motifs are intended to be presented as a fusion of nail art design works that utilizes both flat and stereoscopic art techniques. • The purpose of this multi-disciplinary convergent study is to establish Image Copyright Archive Model for Museums to protect image copyright and vitalize the use of images out of necessity of research and development on copyright services over the life cycle of art contents created by the museums and out of the necessity to vitalize distribution market of image copyright contents in creative industry and to formulate management system of copyright services. This study made various suggestions for enhancement of transparency and efficiency of art contents ecosystem through vitalization of use and recycling of image copyright materials by proposing standard system for calculation, distribution, settlement and monitoring of copyright royalty of 1,000 domestic museums, galleries and exhibit halls. First, this study proposed contents and structure design of image copyright archive model and, by proposing art contents distribution service platform for prototype simulation, execution simulation and model operation simulation, established art contents copyright royalty process model. As billing system and technological development for image contents are still in incipient stage, this study used the existing contents billing framework as basic model for the development of billing technology for distribution of museum collections and artworks and automatic division and calculation engine for copyright royalty. Ultimately, study suggested image copyright archive model which can be used by artists, curators and distributors. In business strategy, study suggested niche market penetration of museum image copyright archive model. In sales expansion strategy, study established a business model in which effective process of image transaction can be conducted in the form of B2B, B2G, B2C and C2B through flexible connection of museum archive system and controllable management of image copyright materials can be possible. This study is expected to minimize disputes between copyright holder of artwork images and their owners and enhance manageability of copyrighted artworks through prevention of such disputes and provision of information on distribution and utilization of art contents (of collections and new creations) owned by the museums. In addition, by providing a guideline for archives of collections of museums and new creations, this study is expected to increase registration of image copyright and to make various convergent businesses possible such as billing, division and settlement of copyright royalty for image copyright distribution service.

  • The archival objects are tangible evidence reflecting public work as forming archives which are administrative, historic, symbolic, cultural and artistic value. They are produced from the various countries so that they have different material and manufacture techniques. However there are difficulties in conservation and management because the material investigation and conservation management system are not established. Therefore this research presents fundamental data for the efficient conservation management by material investigation and condition check metal archival objects. Among the public official presents made of metal, 12 pieces which are discoloration, oxidation, loss or crack are chosen for this research. In order to examine extensive condition of metal archival objects, the condition check card used from the domestic museum and the national museum in Japan are collected and then the new check card is produced. X-ray is used to know the making technique, binding means between different material. Portable-XRF is also used for the chemical composition analysis of metal archival objects, and then classifying respectively according to their material. As a result of condition check, it is possible to investgate the appearance character, deteriorated parts and weak parts of structure. Also P-XRF could find out the composition of metal archival objects which is different from existing condition check card. Therefore the research results can be used as fundamental data for further conservation and management as well as long-term conservation.
