The purpose of this study is to understand a ChoSun-jok female domesic worker's experience in a Korean home. This study adopted hermeneutic phenomenological method which was developed by van Manen. The participant for this study was a ChoSun-jok woman who had worked as a care-giver and housekeeper in Korean home for more than 2 years. She missed the time when she was raising her own daughter and son and expected the time that her family would be together. So, her present time wears away for her stable future in Korea which give an opportunity to make a good money. Also, she realized that she was a marginal existence : it meant she was neither a family member nor truly worker. She nursed the Korean children and did for the Korean family for money but wanted to be treated as a family member like a grandmother who could be honored about what she had done for the family. She felt that she was disregarded from the family when she miscommunicated with them because of the difference between cultures. She anticipated that she was appreciated for being here in the Korean home.

New education methodologies exploiting new media technologies are emerging with the development of digital technology. There also have been researches on efficient methods to apply new technologies on special education. In this paper, we analyze 32 researches associated with application of new media technology on special education for research theme, media, and teaching types. The analysis results show that there is few research on intervention contents which consider special education environment and the roll of teacher. This motivates us to develop a social storytelling contents to improve sociality of the children with developmental disability which can be easily useable in special education environment. The basic structure of the contents is designed for a child to make a choice in the meantime of storytelling and experience the different results depending on the choice. The pilot test with a child with mild autism verifies that it draws attention from the child and it is easy to use in a special education environment, which lays down the possibility as an intervention content.
Folate has received international attention regarding its role in the risk-reduction of birth defects, specifically neural tube defects (NTDs). In 1998 health officials in Canada, like the United States, mandated the addition of folic acid to white flour and select grain product's to increase the folate intake of reproductive-aged women. Subsequent to this initiative there has been an increase in blood folate concentrations in Canada and a 50% reduction in NTDs. Many countries, including Korea, have not mandated folic acid fortification of their food supply. Reasons vary but often include concern over the masking of vitamin $B_{12}$ deficiency, a belief that folate intakes among womenare adequate, low priority relative to other domestic issues, and the philosophy that individuals have the right not to consume supplemental folic acid if they so choose. Prior to folic acid fortification of the food supply in Canada, the folate intakes of women were low, and their blood folate concentrations while not sufficiently low to produce overt signs of folate deficiency (eg. anemia) were inconsistent with a level known to reduce the risk of an NTD-affected pregnancy. The purpose of this article is to describe the role of folate during the periconceptional period, pregnancy, and during lactation. The rationale for, and history of recommending folic acid-containing supplements during the periconceptional period and pregnancy is described as is folic acid fortification of the food supply. The impact of folic acid fortification in Canada is discussed, and unresolved issues associated with this policy described. While the incidence of NTDs in Canada pre-folic acid fortification were seemingly higherthan that of Korea today, blood folate levels of Korean women are strikingly similar. We will briefly explore these parallels in an attempt to understand whether folic acid fortification of the food supply in Korean might be worth consideration.
