강제환기식 산란계 사육시설의 PM, NH3 발생·배출 특성 조사 (Investigation on Generation and Emission of Particulate Matters and Ammonia from Mechanically-ventilated Layer House)

  • In this study, the generation and emission characteristics of particulate matter and gaseous matter in a mechanically ventilated layer house were evaluated. Each concentration of PM10, PM2.5, inhalable dust, respirable dust, and NH3 was measured and compared with occupational limit considering seasons and respiratory disorder. CAPPS (Clean Air Policy Support System) of the Ministry of Environment proposes the emission factors of PM10, PM2.5, and NH3 for a layer houses however, emission factors are still calculated from foreign factors such as CONINAIR values. As a result, it is urgent to develop national emission factors for domestic layer house. Emission coefficients of the studied mechanically-ventilated layer house in a summer season were calculated as 0.052 kg/head/year for PM10, about 12% lower than that of CAPSS, and 0.0068±0.0038 kg/head/year for PM2.5, showing no significant difference. Emission factor of NH3 was calculated as 0.159±0.031 kg/head/year, about 51% lower than that of CAPSS.

소출력 무선 수신기의 부차적 전파발사 규정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Technical Regulation for Spurious Emission of Weak Field Strength Radio Receiver)

  • 소출력 무선설비로부터 발사되는 전파로 인한 혼신으로부터 다른 무선국을 보호하기 위해 사용 주파수에 따라 출력 강도를 제한하고 있으며, 수신기의 경우에는 불요 발사 전력을 규제하고 있는데, 국내의 경우에는 1GHz이하의 소출력 무선설비의 수신기의 부차적인 전파 전력에 관한 규정은 -54dBm으로 규정되어, 1GHz 이상의 소출력 무선설비의 경우에는 아직 그 규정이 마련되어 있지 않고 있다. 현재 1GHz 이상의 기기들이 통신시장의 확대로 인해 서비스가 증가하고 있어 국내 기준이 필요 상태이다.

  • IEC 61000-3-7 provides guidance for limiting flicker and enabling the connection of fluctuating load installations, that is, producing flicker in MV, HV and EHV power systems. In Korea, the flicker have been restricted by Japanese standard of ${\Delta}V_{10}$ method. ${\Delta}V_{10}$ was developed only for arc furnaces in 1960's. And now it is revealed that it is not suitable for application to other fluctuating load installations through many researches. $P_{st}$ which is a flicker index used in IEC 61000-3-7, indicates visual inconvenience due to voltage fluctuation across large range of frequency and can be applied to fluctuating load installations as well as arc furnaces. In this paper, we introduce how to calculate and assess flicker emission level for the individual fluctuating load installations connected in EHV system and how to manage the emission levels in the power system according to IEC 61000-3-7.

국내 휘발유 승용차의 CO2 배출 현황 (A Study on the Characteristics of Carbon Dioxide Emissions from Gasoline Passenger Cars)

  • As the concerns regarding global worming were increased, the pressure of greenhouse gas(GHG) emission reduction on mobile source was also increased. Carbon dioxides contribute over 90% of total GHG emission and the mobile source occupies about 20% of this $CO_2$ emission. Therefore automotive exhaust is suspected to be one of the major reasons of the rapid increase in greenhouse effect gases in ambient air. In this study, in order to investigate $CO_2$ emission characteristics from gasoline passenger cars(PC), which is the most dominant vehicle type in Korea, 106 vehicles were tested on the chassis dynamometer. $CO_2$ emissions and fuel efficiency were measured. The emission characteristics by displacement, gross vehicle weight, vehicle speed and CVS-75/vehicle speed mode were discussed. Test modes were vehicle speed modes and CVS-75 mode that have been used to develop emission factors and to regulate for light-duty vehicle in Korea. It was found that $CO_2$ emissions showed higher large displacement, heavy gross vehicle weight, low vehicle speed and CVS-75 mode than small displacement, light gross vehicle weight, high vehicle speed and vehicle speed mode, respectively. From these results, correlation between $CO_2$ emission and fuel efficiency was also determined. The results of this study will contribute to domestic greenhouse gas emissions calculation and making the national policy for climate change.

텔레매틱스 기술을 이용한 자동차 주행 패턴 및 냉간 배출거리 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Estimation of Vehicle Driving Pattern and Cold Emission Length by using on-board Telematics Devices)

  • In this study, the telematics device was installed on the car (OBD-II) to collect the information on the operation conditions from each sample vehicle. Based on the information the domestic driving pattern was analysed and the ratio of cold start length was estimated. As a result of analysis for driving pattern, we found a difference in the frequency of driving on the hourly or seasonal basis. Then, the driving pattern of the rush hours, weekdays, and weekends could be derived. Also, from the study, an average of 2.22 times per day occurred in a single trip and average driving distance for the trip was 15.72 km. In addition, the proportion of cold start length was analyzed to be 16.11%. The seasonal cold start length has big difference from season to season (Winter 26.63%, Summer 8.22%, Intermediate 12.65%). There was an inverse relationship between the outside temperature and ratio of cold start length. In order to improve the accuracy of the cold emission estimation, it is necessary to apply domestic ratio of cold start length that driving pattern and temperature in Korea is reflected.

폐산의 재활용 현황 및 관리 방안 (Present Condition on the Recycling and Management for Waste Acids)

  • 세계 각국은 폐기물의 발생 및 처리 문제를 극복하기 위해 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 특히, 매년 발생량이 증가하고 있는 폐산은 처리보다는 재활용에 대한 관심이 크게 증가하고 있는 상황이지만, 국내외적으로 재활용 생성물의 품질규정이 불명확하고 관리체계 또한 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 폐산 생성물의 효율적 관리방안을 마련하기 위해 본 연구에서는 국내의 폐산 발생 및 재활용 관련 현황을 조사하였으며, 이를 통해 현재 국내에서 재활용되고 있는 폐산의 주요 생성물을 조사하였다. 그 결과 염화철, 황산철, 청화제1동, 산화동, 치환동이 주요 재활용 생성물인 것으로 나타났다. 장차 이들 생성물에 대한 체계적인 관리체제를 구축함으로서 폐산 자원화를 제고할 뿐 아니라 환경오염 방지와 같은 긍정적인 결과를 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

경유의 방향족 함량 변화가 배출가스에 미치는 영향 연구 (The Study on Effect of Exhaust Gas Characteristics according to Aromatic compound Content in Diesel)

  • 미국과 유럽 등지에서는 자동차용 경유의 방향족 함량이 대기 환경오염의 원인물질로 추정하고 있다. 경유의 총 방향족 및 다고리 방향족 함량 감소가 환경 유해배출가스 HC, NOx, PM 등을 감소시키기 때문이다. 국내에서도 급변하고 있는 차량기술 및 연료품질간의 상관성 규명이 필요한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내 실정에 맞는 차량과 연료간의 상호작용에 의하여 발생될 수 있는 환경적 영향평가를 진행하였으며 대상으로는 2.2L급 국내 대표 차량 2종(DPF 유 무)과 국내 정제기술로 생산된 5종의 연료를 통하여 경유의 방향족 함량에 따른 배출가스 특성을 분석하였다.

국내외 녹색건축인증에서의 커미셔닝 평가기준에 대한 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Domestic and International Evaluation Criteria of Commissioning for Sustainable Building Certification)

  • 국토교통부는 녹색건축물 조성을 촉진하기 위해 '17년 공동주택은 냉,난방 에너지 90%('90년 대비) 절감 목표를 수립하였으며, 2015년 UN 기후변화회의(2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference)에서 당국은 2030년 배출전망 (BAU)인 8억 5060만 ton $CO^2$ 대비 37%를 감축하겠다고 발표하였다. 이를 만족하기 위해서는 가장 많은 탄소 발생을 야기하는 건축물에서 탄소배출 최소화를 위한 조치가 시급하며, 이에 건물 사용 시 발생하는 탄소배출 감축을 위해 필요한 건물 성능 강화를 유도하는 커미셔닝에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 현재 건설업계에서 커미셔닝은 법제화되어 있지 않고 건설 참여자의 수행의지 및 효과 홍보 부족으로 인해 활성화 되어있지 않다. 또한, 녹색건축으로의 인증을 획득하는 과정에서 조차 커미셔닝은 필수 수행 항목으로 지정되어 있지 않아 국내 커미셔닝은 그 효과 대비 저평가 받고 있는 실정이다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 커미셔닝의 효과에 대해 기술하고, 해외 녹색건축인증 LEED, BREEAM을 기준으로 커미셔닝이 녹색건축에 있어서 어떻게 평가받고 있는지 국내 G-SEED와 비교, 분석하여 국내 녹색건축인증에서의 커미셔닝 필수화를 제안하고 나아가 커미셔닝이 국내에서 활성화 될 수 있도록 건설 주체자의 인식 변화를 유도하고자 한다.

한·중 배출권거래제 연계를 위한 설계요소 및 장애요인 분석 (Analysis of Design Elements and Barriers to Link the Emission Trading Systems between the Republic of Korea and China)

  • The Republic of Korea (ROK) has made many efforts to reduce greenhouse gases through a legal framework, making obligations to reach domestic and overseas targets via the Paris Convention in 2015. China recently launched a nation-wide emission trading system (ETS) and has considered extending this ETS to include the ROK. This study examines the possibility of linking the ETS between ROK and China by considering the institutional design elements of the ETS. Additionally, this study provides policy implications to reach Korea's overseas reduction target. For the research methodology, the design elements of both the ROK and China policies were analyzed by categorizing their standard design elements based on the International Carbon Action Partnership. This paper focuses on four main barriers (cap type, borrowing, offset and price ceiling) based on their environmental benefits and analyzes the challenges to combining the design elements between the ROK and China systems. The two ETS commonly share the same cap types, and there is similar institutional progress regarding the offset and price ceiling. In addition to this, note that China has a borrowing system that is opposite to the borrowing system in ROK. According to these findings, there are major challenges to linking the ROK and China systems due to differences in the major design elements. Thus, it is necessary to modify the Korean domestic borrowing system and understand the Chinese institutional processes related to environmental negotiation to achieve further cooperation.

표본건물 계측에 의한 공동주택 세대에서의 용도별 에너지사용량 및 CO2 배출량 연간 원단위 (2016 - 2017) 분석 (Annual Intensities (2016-2017) Analysis of Energy Use and CO2 Emission by End Use based on Measurements of Sample Apartment Units)

  • In this study, annual site and primary energy use intensities (EUIs) and CO2 emission intensities (CEIs) per area by end use were estimated based on the measurement data from June 2016 to May 2017 of 50 sample apartment units in Seoul. In addition, estimated site EUIs by end use were compared to the U.S. Residential Energy Consumption Survey (RECS) 2009 data. Site EUIs by end use were found to be in the order of heating > electric appliance > domestic hot water > cooking > lighting > cooling > air movement. In the case of primary EUIs and CEIs by end use, electric appliance was found to be the largest. As results of comparison with the RECS 2009 data, it was found that site EUIs were very similar for heating, domestic hot water and electric appliance, etc., but slightly different for cooling. The number of sample apartment units will continue to increase until 2020 (total number of samples 200) and intensities data by end use will be continuously updated through continuous collection of measurement data.
