  • The pedagogical dynamic dramatized in Shaw's Pygmalion, which sets man as a distinct pedagogical authority and woman his subject spawning similarly patterned plays many decades later, has been relatively overlooked in the play's criticism clouded by its predominantly mythical theme. Shaw stages Eliza's pedagogical subordination to Higgins followed by her Nora-esque exit with the declaration, "I'll go and be a teacher." The central premise of this article is that the pioneering modern playwright and feminist's pedagogical rewriting of A Doll's House sets out a historical dialogue between Eliza, a new woman who repositions herself as a teacher renouncing her earlier subordinate pedagogical position that is culturally ascribed to women while threatening to replace her paternal teacher, and her immediate precursors, that is, Victorian women teachers whose professional career was socially "anathematized." Through a historical probe into the social status of Victorian women teachers, the article attempts to align their abortive career with Eliza's new womanly re-appropriation of the profession of teaching. With Pygmalion as the starting point of its query, this article conducts a historical survey on the literary representation of pedagogical women from the mid to late Victorian era to the turn of the century. Reading a wide selection of novels and plays alongside of Pygmalion (1912), such as Jane Eyre (1847), A Doll's House (1879), An Enemy of the People (1882), The Odd Women (1893), and The Importance of Being Earnest (1895), it contextualizes Eliza's resolution to be a teacher within the history of female pedagogy. This historical contextualization of the career choice of one of the earliest new women characters in modern drama helps appraise the historical significance of such choice.

  • We focused on the care effectiveness of the interactive AI robots. developed an AI toy robot called 'Agaya' to contribute to personalization with more human-centered care. First, by applying P-TTS technology, you can maximize intimacy by autonomously selecting the voice of the person you want to hear. Second, it is possible to heal in your own way with good memory storage and bring back memory function. Third, by having five senses of the role of eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and hands, seeking better personalised services. Fourth, it attempted to develop technologies such as warm temperature maintenance, aroma, sterilization and fine dust removal, convenient charging method. These skills will expand the effective use of interactive robots by elderly people and contribute to building a positive image of the elderly who can plan the remaining old age productively and independently

  • This investigation compared the eyewitness accounts of 5-year-old children by verbal-only inter views and interviews using anatomically neutral dolls. The verbal interviews consisted of free recall, specific question, and leading questions. While the overall accuracy of the interviews increased with the introduction of dolls as memory aids, the efficacy of the dolls was not uniform across types of interviews. In free recall, the dolls were not effective in eliciting accurate accounts. The use of dolls also did not compromise the memory of children in free recall which recalled greater number of correct details with the memory aids than without, but it should be careful in free recall could be reported exactly correct in spite of little bit amounts. Responses to leading questions showed that the children were affected by suggestive misleading question and were susceptible to incorporation of that information into their memory.

A similarity was found between two dynasties' dancing costume, since both had tong sleeve dresses. However, the further detailed study showed that one can't simply say both are in the same style. For example, the dress in Han dynasty had a long length style of coat(深衣) covering all the way to feet, and there were round neckline coat(團領) and long Jacket(장유). In contrast, that of Kokurye had a shorter length in coat(直領) covering only up to calf of the leg or long jacket(장유).

The subjects were one hundred 4- to 8-year-old children. The method was a doll play situation, composed of three different support conditions. Scalogram analysis was used to test the developmental sequence, and ANOVA and paired t-test were used to test the significance of differences in stages. The results of this study evidenced a sequential pattern in the 4- to 8-year-old children's understanding of social interaction. There were also significant differences between stages in the understanding of social interaction according to support conditions and behavioral domains. Higher levels of support produced higher stages of understanding and the understanding of positive social interactions were higher than those of negative social interactions at ages 4 and 5.

  • The subjects were individually presented with the Maxi-doll task to examine false belief and with the flower-star (Stroop-like day-night) test to examine inhibitory control skill. In the $1^{st}$ session, the subjects were tested with both the Maxi tesk and the flower-star test. Three days later, subjects were retested with the Maxi task, including an inhibitory cue. Data were analyzed by 3-way ANOVA, age(2) $\times$ inhibitory level(2) $\times$ task type(Maxi-task or Maxi-including cue). All the main effects were significant and the interaction effect between inhibitory level and task type was also significant. Thus, their understanding of the mind and inhibitory control skill both influence children's performance on a typical false belief task.

  • This paper interprets the work of Hans Bellmer, who took pictures after making a doll and distorting its form, and Diane Arbus, who took documentary photographs of unusual and marginalized people, as uncanny anxiety referred to by Freud. Through these two photographers' works, this paper examined how anxiety was used as an aesthetic strategy, and discussed the uncanny as an aesthetic experience. Uncanny refers to the phenomenon of familiar things being repressed and returning to their original place, or the phenomenon of familiarity being alienated due to repression. The aesthetic strategy of uncanny is used to bring a blind spot in reality that can be easily missed with an ordinary vision into the fore, by allowing for the slight shock to an appreciator. The ultimate goal of uncanny aesthetics is to promote both inner and external changes as well as to expand the scope of imagination, through freely crossing the borders between consciousness and unconsciousness, sympathy and antipathy, and reality and fiction.

Such verification results were considered to provide as important core elements for successful management in the bakery industry. By utilizing SPSS and AMOS, exploratory factor analysis(EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) were conducted for the validity of the measurement items, and Structural Equation Model(SEM) was performed to verify the hypothesis. The analysis result is as follows. First, advertisement attribute(${\beta}$=0.269, t=4.512, p,<0.001) and free gift attitude(${\beta}$=0.293, t=5.043, p<0.001) had a positive influence on trust. Second, trust had a positive influence on purchase intention(${\beta}$=0.513, t=8.677, p<0.001). Third, advertisement attribute(${\beta}$=0.104, t=1.966, p,<0.05) and free gift attitude(${\beta}$=0.204, t=3.817, p<0.001) had a positive influence on purchase intention. Lastly, advertisement attitude appeared different by advertisement types(actors and animation), and ads with an actor were evaluated high than animation ads. Also, gift attitude appeared different by gift types(speaker doll/character hat and turtleneck muffler), and a turtleneck muffler was evaluated high than a speaker doll or a character hat.
