Design and Implementation of XML Documents Storage and Retrieval System based on Object-Relational Database (객체관계형 데이터베이스에 기반한 XML 문서 저장 및 검색 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • XML has emerged as the internet standard for information exchange among e-businesses and applications. Therefore, it becomes necessary to store XML documents in database for efficient management. This paper describes the design and implementation of XML documents storage and retrieval system based on object-relational database. The storage method first, decomposes XML document into Element, and then stores according to element types. The system also supports various search methods to retrieve XML documents from database.

Voice Message System Supporting Massive Outbound Call (대량의 발신 호를 지원하는 음성 메시지 시스템)

  • In this paper, new voice message system supporting massive outbound call is proposed. Basic idea of the proposed system is to pre-process all the text-to-speech conversion process, mixing of text and attached music file and to store the results of pre-process in the cache server which is connected to the IVR. New voice message system is optimized for the voice message system supporting massive outbound call by distributing the load of the web server caused by server-side script implementation which is accessing database and generating dynamic Voice XML document over client module and server module of web server. The proposed voice message system was test-deployed in one domestic voice message application service provider and it is shown that proposed voice message system reduced the response latency problem of test-bed voice message system.

  • Video data occurred in multimedia documents consist of a large scale of irregular data including audio-visual, spatial-temporal, and semantic information. In general, it is difficult to grasp the exact meaning of such a video information because video data apparently consist of unmeaningful symbols and numerics. In order to relieve these difficulties, it is necessary to develop an integrated manager for complex structures of video data and provide users of video digital libraries with easy, systematic access mechanisms to video informations. This paper proposes a generic integrated video information model(GIVIM) based on an extended Dublin Core metadata system to effectively store and retrieve video documents in digital libraries. The GIVIM is an integrated mo이 of a video metadata model(VMN) and a video architecture information model(VAIM). We also present design and implementation results of a video document management system(VDMS) based on the GIVIM.

  • The personal health record platform can store and manage medical records, health-monitoring data such as blood pressure and blood sugar, and life logs generated from various wearable devices. It provides services such as international standard-based medical document management, data pattern analysis and an intelligent inference engine, and disease prediction and domain contents. This study aims to construct a foundation for the transmission of international standard-based medical documents by mapping the diagnosis items of a general health examination, special health examination, life logs, health data, and life habits with the international standard terminology systems. The results of mapping with international standard terminology systems show a high mapping rate of 95.6%, with 78.8% for LOINC, 10.3% for SNOMED, and 6.5% when mapped with both LOINC and SNOMED.

  • 최근 멀티미디어 문서의 개수가 기하 급수적으로 증가함에 따라, 사용자가 요구하는 멀티미디어 문서를 보다 효과적으로 저장 및 검색할 수 있는 멀티미디어 문서 검색 시스템을 개발하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 XML로 정의된 문서를 문서 구조 및 이미지 내용을 기반으로 보다 효율적으로 검색할 수 있는 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 효율적인 구조-기반 검색을 지원하기 위해서 구조 인덱스를 o2store 저장 시스템을 사용하여 구현한다. 아울러 내용-기반 검색을 지원하기 위해서 X-트리에 기반한 효율적인 고차원 색인구조를 구현한다. 마지막으로 구현된 멀티미디어 문서검색 시스템을 검색시간, 저장시간, 부가 저장 공간의 관점에서 성능평가를 수행한다.

  • Sensors based bridge monitoring system (SBBMS) is designed to perform real-time monitoring and to store the performance history of in-service bridges. In general, visual inspections play a major role in maintenance of in-service bridges; however, they are not adequate to document the behavior of a bridge. Therefore, visual inspections and sensor based monitoring systems complement each other. Sensor based bridge monitoring systems consist of hardware and software systems. The hardware system contains the sensors and data-loggers to measure the behavior of a structure, the communicational equipment to transmit the measured data from the site to the monitoring center, and the computers to arrange and analyze the data. The software system controls data-loggers, arranges and analyzes the measured data, makes real-time display, stores the performance history.

  • 많은 분야에서 정보를 효과적으로 전달하기 위한 수단으로 멀티미디어가 많이 사용되고 있다. 이에 멀티미디어 문서를 효율적으로 저장, 검색, 표현하기 위한 기법에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 멀티미디어 문서 내에 사용되는 audio, video, image, text와 같은 여러 미디어들은 문서 내에서 시.공간적 관계뿐 아니라 내용상의 연관성을 갖게 된다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 문서에 사용되는 미디어들의 특징 및 연관성을 추출해 내고, 각 미디어들을 효율적으로 관리하기 위하여 미디어 특성에 맞는 세크멘테이션 기법을 이용하고 이들에 대한 내용상의 연관성을 고려하여 저장(store), 검색(retrieve), 표현(present)하기위한 시스템을 설계 하였다.

  • The Internet has gained popularity because it provides various information in digital format. However, it is very difficult to provide methods which make it possible to search adequate information resource from bulk of Internet information. In this paper, we define a SGML metadata DTD, named SeriCore, and design and implement a metadata retrieval and management system which can store, retrieve and manage the Internet metadata efficiently.

  • 최근 XML 문서에 대한 활용이 늘어나면서 이들 문서에 대한 저장 및 검색에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. XML문서는 SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language) 문서가 가지고 있는 다양한 기능들과 구조적인 표현 능력, 그리고 사용의 용이성 등의 장점을 지닌 언어로 1996년 웹의 문서 표준으로 제안되었다. 따라서 XML 문서의 특성을 반영한 문서 검색시스템에 대한 요구가 시급한 상태이며, 기존의 시스템의 경우 구조 및 내용-기반 멀티미디어 문서검색을 효과적으로 지원하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML 문서의 구조정보 및 내용정보를 효과적으로 검색할 수 있는 XML 문서 저장 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 구현하는 시스템은 구조-기반 검색을 위해 o2store위에 역파일 인덱스를 구축하고 내용-기반 검색을 위해 X-tree를 사용한다. 또한 검색 인터페이스를 JAVA로 구현하여 효율적인 검색이 이루어지도록 한다.

Query Processing based Branch Node Stream for XML Message Broker

  • XML message brokers have a lot of importance because XML has become a practical standard for data exchange in many applications. Message brokers covered in this document store many users. This paper is a study of the processing of twig pattern queries in XML documents using branching node streams in XML message broker structures. This work is about query processing in XML documents, especially for query processing with XML twig patterns in the XML message broker structure and proposed a method to reduce query processing time when parsing documents with XML twig patterns by processing information. In this paper, the twig pattern query processing method of documents using the branching node stream removes the twigging value of the branch node that does not include the labeling value of the branch node stream when it receives a twig query from the client. In this paper, the leaf node discovery time can be reduced by reducing the navigation time of nodes in XML documents that are matched to leaf nodes in twig queries for client twig queries. Overall, the overall processing time to respond to queries is reduced, allowing for rapid question-answer processing.
