A Study on Visual Factors Affecting Purchase of Convenient Store's Packed-meal on Mobile Application (모바일 애플리케이션을 통한 편의점 도시락 구매 과정에 영향을 미치는 시각 요소에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of research is identifying visual factors affecting purchase of convenient store packed-meals through mobile applications. Previous studies have not covered mobile applications on purchase of convenient store packed-meals and this inspired the research topic. Document analysis and online survey are mainly implemented and 4 visual factors; typography, product image, main color, brand logo have been set as a research variables. It is revealed that consumers recognize product image prior to the rest and their purchase intentions are most significantly affected by product image. In conclusion, the product image should encourage consumers to have expectation on packed-meal and need to deliver credibility at the same time. Hence, the application should be designed to solely spotlight product image to lead consumer's concentration on it. The research can be further expanded by including non-visual factors as its variables or increasing scale of survey samples.

  • This paper will intend to contribute to extracting and storing various form of information on user interests by using structural rules user makes and XML-based word document converting techniques. The system named PPE consists of three essential element. One is converting element which converts word documents like HWP, DOC into XML documents, another is extracting element to prepare structural rules and extract concerned information from XML document by structural rules, and the other is storing element to make final XML document or store it into database system. For word document converting, we developed OCX based word converting daemon. Helping user to extracting information, we developed script language having native function/variable processing engine extended from XSLT. This system can be used in the area of constructing word document contents DB or providing various information service based on RAW word documents. We really applied it to project management system and project result management system.

  • For having various applications, XML is widely used in various fields. But, there have not been proposed a system to integrate and manage XML and its applications together. In this paper, we propose methods to integrate web-based XML applications(SMIL, RDF, WIDL) and for object-oriented modeling of each DTD and document instance. We prppose and system to merge object modeling of XML applications. With the proposed integrating algorithm, we can not only easily analysis various web-based XML applications which is represented by complex tags but also generate object-oriented schema for each document and store it to OODBMS.

  • This study describes the digitalization of technical documents of construction projects using database for storage and XML for exchange format on the web. First, for this purpose, the requirements for effective digitalization are identified. Second, the strategies for using database and XML are presented. These strategies include the way to store and search for the technical documents, to draw up the XML document for some parts of the technical documents, to arrange the components in their proper hierarchy, to manage the graphics and mathematical expressions in database and XML documents. Finally we discussed the validities of the results of this study by partial implementation for structural design sheets which has all the characteristics of technical documents.

  • The number of XML documents, which are widely used as a standard method for information expression and exchange in the web-based environment, increases rapidly along with the growing production of large XML documents. Many studies have been made to store and retrieve these XML documents on RDBMS, among which Shared Inlining storage method has a higher level of retrieval efficiency. The Shared Inlining method is the technique that analyzes the DTD information and stores the XML document in RDBMS by dividing for each node component. This study proposes the technique to resolve the overlapping problem that occurs in the element with several child nodes in the existing Shared Inlining method. The suggested method stores the XML document in the Shared Inlining structures appropriate to the DTD definition and enhances the accuracy of retrieval.

  • As the research work about XML based on the development of Internet and according to the information exchange standard is being carried out, the need of discovering new methods to store XML documents and manage them efficiently according to the frequency of large-capacity XML documents increases. Consequently, as a kind of back-end database system, XML storage systems such as RDBMS, OODBMS and Native XML DBMS etc. are coming forth in order to save XML documents. It is an urgent task to make comparisons among usage expense, function comparison storage, inquiry, and manage dimension for each DBMS. This paper makes an analysis and comparison of DTD-independent XML document access methods in RDBMS, OODBMS and Native XML DBMS for XML storage and management. After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of each access method and comparing the function of typical commerce DBMS such as Oracle 8i, eXcelon and Tamino for finding the possibility of military applications, an another appropriate method to save XML documents is proposed as to find an implementation approach to save structural XML documents.

  • As progressing rapidly to the information society and increasing greatly the amount of information, many researchers have been made utilizing XML to store and retrieval the information effectively. But, many other existing method could not support various structured retrieval method for specific parent, children and sibling nodes. In this paper, we propose (1)an effective method of representation for structured information and of indexing mechanism using OETID(Ordered Element Type ID) for effective management and structured retrieval of the XML documents. Also it contains another proposal that is (2) a documents integration mechanism for retrieval result and storing technique to store structural information of the XML documents. With our methods, we could effectively represent structural information of XML documents, and could directly access the specific elements and process various queries by simple operations.

  • The goal of this paper is to propose a new way to register CDA documents in CDR (Clinical Document Repository) that is proposed by the author earlier. One of the methods is to use a manifest archiving for seamless references and visualization of CDA related files. Another method is to enhance the CDA security level for supporting pseudonymization of CDA. The former is a useful method to support the bundled registration of CDA related files as a set. And it also can provide a seamless presentation view to end-users, once downloaded, without each HTTP connection. The latter is a new method of CDA registration which can supports a do-identification of a patient. Usually, CDA header can be used for containing patient identification information, and CDA body can be used for diagnosis or treatment data. So, if we detach each other, we can get good advantages for privacy protection. Because even if someone succeeded to get separated CDA body, he/she never knows whose clinical data that is. The other way, even if someone succeeded to get separated CDA header; he/she doesn't know what kind of treatment has been done. This is the way to achieve protecting privacy by disconnecting association of relative information and reducing possibility of leaking private information. In order to achieve this goal, the method we propose is to separate CDA into two parts and to store them in different repositories.

A Design and Implementation of XML Document storing and retrieval Framework based on a variant k-ary complete tree and RDF Metadata (가변 K진 완전트리와 RDF메타정보에 기반한 XML문서 저장 및 검색 프레임워크의 설계 및 구현)

  • This paper studied and proposed a XML document storing-and-retrieval framework based on a variant k-ary complete tree and a RDF metadata, which is composed of an effective storing module to store xml documents, a retrieving module to retrieve xml documents, and a connecting module to make this system intemperate in the web environment. In this storing module, DTD independent DOM based decomposition model using a method of addressing unique ill using a variant k-ary complete tree is adopted and is implemented. Query Processing Module includes a XPath query process and a content based retrieval function using word index for content information. To retrieve more exactly data, a structural retrieval using RDF metadata is adopted and implemented. In order to implement effectively XML document storing and retrieval system in the web environment, API using XML-RPC, API using HTTP's GET, PUT, POST and API using SOAP have been adopted and implemented.

  • XML is normalized text form that is designed to transmit structured document in web as that propose in W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) in 1996. Function that this can overcome HTML's limit that use in existing in Internet and user define new tag to HTML by way to solve SGML's complexity added. There is many efforts to use storing this XML document in RDBMS but to relation style DB because XML document is tree structure structurally data SQL and perfect disaster caused by things that is language to ask a question accomplish XQuery that so it is W3C's XML standard query appear. After store XML informations including space information to RDBMS in this paper, Spatial XQuery through converter that is Sqatial XQuery2SQL through Spatial operator, Spatial function SQL of by Sqatial XQuery2SQL conversion algorithm that draw information in RDBMS after change embody wish to.
