공공기관 근무자의 금연구역내 흡연실태 (Actual Conditions of Smoking of Public Workers within Nonsmoking Areas)

  • The purpose of this study was to be useful in working out plans for improving national health by identifying public workers' knowledge of and attitude to smoking, actual conditions of smoking within nonsmoking areas, and related factors. For the purpose, the questionnaire was carried out with 761 public officials of the division manager-level and lower working in Taegu Metropolitan City Hall in september, 1998. The results are summarized as follows; Smokers of the subject group accounted for 55.1%, and the smoking rate had a significant relation with age and religion. In view of the time when smokers started smoking, smokers who started smoking after graduation from a high school accounted for 70.6%. Smokers who smoke one pack of cigarettes per day and a cigarette to its two-thirds length was the most. In the smoking place of smokers at home, 54.9% of the smokers responded that they smoke in an outdoor space The rate of smoking in an office was 68.3% and the rate of smoking within the nonsmoking areas of other public institutions was 43.0%. The results of multiple regression analysis with the actual state of smoking within the nonsmoking area of other public institutions as an independent variable revealed that smokers who check for a nonsmoking area before smoking in the public institutions and who do not smoke in an office do not smoke within the nonsmoking areas of other public institutions. In conclusion, more smoking and health education for public workers is needed to reduce the rate of national smoking and allow people to have a good smoking attitude, and it is required to arrange an institutional system who can strictly control public workers' smoking in their offices or public places and to stress a function of surveillance and monitoring by nonsmokers.

  • There are being a lot of studies for achievement of high speed Dehydration, high-strength and Lightweight of washing machine in the latest washing machine business. It is essential that Press-joining Strength of Spin Drum Seaming division is improved .to attain that target. Generally, we are using Mechanical press-joining by Seaming and T.I.G (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding among part joint method. Mechanical press-joining method that is mainly using for Stainless Steel (STS430) Drum have lots of merit that consumption of energy is low more than welding and production costs cut down and generation of the corrosion is solved by removing weld zone defect and materials having different properties are enable to join without special equipment. But, it is difficult to realize joint strength required at high speed operation because joint strength of mechanical press-joining method is low remarkably in comparison with welding. Also, there are a lot of analysis difficulties and very limited research is under way due to the dynamic factor such as multistage plastic working, elastic recovery, residual stress etc. The results of this study show optimal joining condition for mechanical press-joining by performing lots of tensile joining strength test with various specimen under multi-change of important design factor such as seaming width, bead area and bead depth etc.

모멘트 균형점의 효율적 탐색을 갖는 비제산기 COA 비퍼지화기 (A dividerless COA defuzzifier with an efficient searching of momentum equilibrium point)

  • This paper proposes a new COA (center of area) defuzzifier that is working in the accurate and fast manner. The proposed COA defuzzifier involves both membership values and the spans of membership functions in clauclating a crisp value. In additon, it avoid division by replacing the COA calculation with the searching of the momentum equilibrium point. The moment equilibrium point is searched in the coarse-to-fine manner such that the moment computing points during the coarse searching are moved in the interval of fuzzy terms until they are reached at two adjacent fuzzy terms searching method accerlates the finding of the moment equilibrium point by O(M) mazimally when compared iwth the equal interval searching method of ruitz. In order to verify the accuracy of the proposed COA defuzzifier, the crisp values obtained form the proposed coarse-to-fine searching are compared with the precise crisp values from the arithmetic calculation. Application to the truck backer-upper control problem of the proposed COA defuzzifier is presented. The control performance is compared with that of the conventional COA defuzzifier in tems of the average tracing distance.

Parallel Generation of NC Tool Paths for Subdivision Surfaces

  • The subdivision surface is the limit of recursively refined polyhedral mesh. It is quite intuitive that the multi-resolution feature can be utilized to simplify generation of NC (Numerical Control) tool paths for rough machining. In this paper, a new method of parallel NC tool path generation for subdivision surfaces is presented. The basic idea of the method includes two steps: first, extending G-Buffer to a strip buffer (called S-Buffer) by dividing the working area into strips to generate NC tool paths for objects of large size; second, generating NC tool paths by parallel implementation of S-Buffer based on MPI (Message Passing Interface). Moreover, the recursion depth of the surface can be estimated for a user-specified error tolerance, so we substitute the polyhedral mesh for the limit surface during rough machining. Furthermore, we exploit the locality of S-Buffer and develop a dynamic division and load-balanced strategy to effectively parallelize S-Buffer.

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify the influence of professionalism, role conflict and work environment in clinical nurses with expanded role (CNE) on job embeddedness. Methods: The participants in this study were 136 CNE working in general hospitals in Seoul, the wider metropolitan area and Gangwon Province. Results: Job embeddedness, work environment and professional performance of the participants showed positive correlation with each other. Significant predictors of embeddeness were belief in public service and sense of calling in the professional subcategory and participation in hospital affairs and nurse-doctor relationship in the work environment subcategory. Conclusion: Finding from this study indicate the need to evaluate and improve the significant predictors of job embeddedness for CNE.

  • The purpose of this study is to actualize the unit planning space. First, to understand various needs about residential space of apartments inhabitants. It is necessary for us to understand exactly what differences of residential needs and how different they are with todays's viewpoint because different residential life should be developed according to family structure, age and personality. Second, to suggest plan type as many as possible to reflect and accept various residential needs of inhabitants. The main bed room is normal used for the space of husband and wife, it is necessary to consider the room to be free from the main living room, to introduce variety in the area division or location of rooms an to mark kitchen and dining room as family room or pieasure room besides as a working space

Configuration of Actuator and Sensor Interface Bus Network using PLC

  • A kind of field bus called Actuator and Sensor interface bus(AS-i) was designed in this paper. The configuration of AS-i network system used Application Specific Integrated Circuit(ASIC) SAP5S chip and PLC S7-200 station, which included CPU 224 and AS-i master module CP 243-2. We also created an example program for PLC S7-200 to control AS-i network. The fire and smoke detection system was made with AS-i network system that was designed. This system had got more advantages than other system such as number of stations, easy installation, wide working area, etc. And designed system can be used as a partner network for higher level field bus networks.

Person Tracking by Detection of Mobile Robot using RGB-D Cameras

  • In this paper, we have implemented a low-cost mobile robot supporting the person tracking by detection using RGB-D cameras and ROS(Robot Operating System) framework. The mobile robot was developed based on the Kobuki mobile base equipped with 2's Kinect devices and a high performance controller. One kinect device was used to detect and track the single person among people in the constrained working area by combining point cloud data filtering & clustering, HOG classifier and Kalman Filter-based estimation successively, and the other to perform the SLAM-based navigation supported in ROS framework. In performance evaluation, the person tracking by detection was proved to be robustly executed in real-time, and the navigation function showed the accuracy with the mean distance error being lower than 50mm. The mobile robot implemented has a significance in using the open-source based, general-purpose and low-cost approach.

다분지 미니 채널 열교환기의 액단상 열전달 특성에 관한 연구 (A study of heat transfer characteristics on the Multi-pass Heat exchanger with Minichannel)

  • This research focused on the multi-pass heat exchanger using the minichannel possessing the spring fin. An air-water was used as working fluid. The characteristics of liquid single phase heat transfer were verified. The compact heat exchanger (heat transfer area density : ${\beta}=2,146 m^2/m^3$), based on the shape of header(Top combining header), 63 minichannels ($D_i$ : 1.4 mm, L : 0.25 m) and the air side adopting the copper wire spring fin, was fabricated. The heat transfer area density of the air side was improved up to 161% when compared with the conventional fin-tube heat exchanger that adopts the heat transfer tube with the inner diameter of 5 mm. With regard to heat transfer performance, heat transfer rate per unit volume increased up to 142% when compared with the fin-tube heat exchanger adopting the heat transfer tube with the inner diameter of 5 mm.

도시환경에서 방사능오염 표면의 중요도 분석 (Contaminated Surfaces in an Urban Environment)

  • 국제원자력기구(IAEA)에서 주관하는 국제비교프로그램 EMRAS-2(Environmental Modelling for RAdiation Safety, Phase 2) 내 도시오염평가분과에서 설계한 가상 방사능오염 시나리오에 대해 국내모델 METRO-K를 사용하여 도시환경을 구성하는 오염표면의 선량률에 대한 중요도를 분석하였다. 선량률에 대한 오염표면의 기여는 평가위치와 사건 발생 후 시간에 따라 뚜렷이 다른 차이를 나타냈다. 또한 사건이 발생한 당시 강우의 유무와 강우의 강도에 따라서도 오염표면의 기여는 뚜렷한 차이를 나타냈다. 결과적으로 만일 원자력발전소의 사고나 방사능분산장치의 폭발 등과 같은 불의의 사건이 발생하여 도시지역을 오염시킬 경우 방사능피폭에 따른 인체 위해 뿐 아니라 경제적 사회적 영향을 최소화하기 위해서는 해당 환경을 구성하고 있는 표면의 특성을 고려하여 적절한 대응행위를 선택하는 것이 중요하다는 사실을 알 수 있었다.
