공동을 고려한 원주방향 급유홈 저널 베어링의 비선형 진동 해석 (Nonlinear Frequency Response Analysis of Circumferentially Grooved Journal Bearing Considering Cavitation)

  • Nonlinear characteristics of the hydrodynamic journal bearing with circumferentially groove are analyzed numerically considering cavitation region, when an external sinusoidal shock is given to the system. The oil film force is obtained by solving the finite width universal Reynolds equation at each time step. Frequency response function and journal orbit obtained from both linear and nonlinear bearing simulations are compared with each other. The vibration response of the journal is different from the expectation obtained from the linear analysis as increase the vibration amplitude of external disturbance. Therefore, the linear theory is not adequate, and the nonlinear calculation such as used in this research is needed to design safety rotor systems.

  • 마찰 감쇠가 있는 공탄성 해석을 위하여, 연계 시간 적분법을 사용하여 아음속/천음속 영역에서 공탄성 응답을 구하였다. 양력면에 발생하는 충격파에 의한 공기역학적 비선형성을 고려하기 위하여 동위상 주기 경계 조건이 적용된 미소교란 방정식을 비정상 공기력 계산에 적용하였다. 변위 종속적인 마찰 감쇠기가 있는 2차원 에어포일 시스템에 대하여 플러터 경계에 대한 수직력의 기울기와 마하수의 영향을 살펴보았다.

Online Compensation of Parameter Variation Effects for Robust Interior PM Synchronous Motor Drives

  • This paper presents an online voltage disturbance estimator to achieve precise torque control of IPMSMs over a high speed operating region. The proposed design has a type of state-filter based on a Luenburger-style closed loop stator current vector observer. Utilizing the frequency response plot (FRF) approach, the estimation accuracy and the parameter sensitivities are analyzed. Accurate torque control and improved efficiency are provided with the decoupling of the effect of the parameter variations. The feasibility of the presented idea is verified by laboratory experiments.

BLDC 모터 속도제어를 위한 견실 PID 제어기 설계 (Robust PID Controller Design for Speed Control of BLDC Motors)

  • In this paper, the robust PID(Proportional-Integral-Derivative) controller was designed for speed control of BLDC motors using the frequency region model matching method. It was designed the robust PID controller satisfying disturbance attenuation and robust tracking performance using an H$\infty$ control method. The robust PID controller gains with the performances of the designed H$\infty$ controller are determined using the model matching method at frequency domain. Consequently, simulation results show that the proposed PID speed controller satisfies load torque disturbance attenuation and robust tracking performance, and this study has usefulness and applicability for the speed control system design of BLDC motors.

The Response of the Solar Chromosphere and Transition Region to a Coronal Rain Event

  • We report that a strong downflow event caused three-minute oscillations in the solar atmosphere. Our observations were carried out by using the Fast Imaging Solar Spectrograph (FISS) of the 1.6 meter New Solar Telescope (NST) and the Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS). Our main findings are as follows: (1) The strong downflow was seen at the $H{\alpha}$ absorption line at first, and then appeared at the Si IV and C II emission lines. It seems that the characteristics of the downflow are consistent with a coronal rain event. (2) After the event, oscillations of velocity were identified in the chromospheric lines and transition region lines. (3) The amplitudes of oscillations were 2km/s at Mg II line and 3km/s at C II and Si IV lines and decreased with time. (4) The period of the oscillation was 2.67 minutes at first, but gradually increased with time. Our findings are in agreement with Chae & Goode (2015)'s theory that of acoustic waves generated by a disturbance in a gravitationally-stratified medium.

인두 및 상부식도부 이물감 환자의 식도내 (Esophageal manometry in the patients with foreign body sensation on the pharyngo-esopgageal region)

  • Although it is suspected that the foreign body sensation on the pharyngoesophageal region is caused by motility disturbance of upper esophageal sphincter, its pathophysiology is not yet clear. Esophageal manometry has become an important diagnostic tool in the evaluation of esophageal motor disorders such as dysfunction of upper esophageal sphincter. Intraluminal esophageal pressures were measured by perfusion manometry in fifteen patients with foreign body sensation on the pharyngoesophageal region and in twenty six controls. In upper esophageal sphincter, mean value of resting pressure of the patients by rapid pull-through technique was 45,9\ulcorner 15.6mmHg and 80.9\ulcorner9.7mmHg in the controls. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant. The distance from nostril to sphincter, length of sphincter, and resting pressure by station pull-through technique were not significantly different. The amplitude of esophageal peristalsis in the patients was reduced significantly at the level of the upper, mid and lower esophagus. The wave duration of the patients was reduced significantly at the level the upper and mid esophagus. The speed showed no difference between two groups. Length and resting pressure of lower esophageal sphincter revealed almost same values in two groups.

Disturbance in the Daytime Midlatitude Upper F Region Associated with a Medium Scale Electrodynamic Vortex Motion of Plasma

  • Under the assumption of the presence of a medium-scale E × B drift vortex of plasma in the daytime midlatitude F region, and using a simplified ionospheric model, we demonstrate that the E × B drift produces noticeable perturbations in the horizontal distribution of the plasma density in the upper F region. The pattern of ion density perturbations shows two separate medium scale domains of enhanced and reduced ion density with respect to the background. The E × B drift does not produce multiple small-scale ion density irregularities through plasma mixing because of the suppression effect of the field-aligned ambipolar plasma diffusion.

  • Transient stability analysis is concerned with a power system's response to unwanted disturbance. Recently, direct method which utilize the stable region of stable equilibrium point is used to analyze transient stability This paper focuses on the controlling UEP method using the fractal behaviours. In the controlling UEP method, many algorithms are used to find controlling UEP However, the existence of fractal region gives difficulty in finding the controlling UEP. So, this paper observes the fractal feature arid introduce the fractal index to explain how much the fractal region occupies in the entire space. Using an improved algorithm from the view point of fractal index, we are going to find the controlling UEP.

선형적으로 증가하는 벽면교란이 벽 근처 난류 온도장의 특성 변화에 미치는 영향 해석 (Analysis on the Modification of Near-wall Turbulent Characteristics of Temperature Field in a Channel imposed with Linearly Increasing Wall Disturbance)

  • 난류 경계층이 형성되어 있는 채널 벽면에 주유동방향을 따라 선형적으로 증가하는 수직방향의 운동량 교란을 도입한 후 발생되는 난류 온도장의 특성 변화를 LES 기법을 사용하여 분석하여 보았다. 벽면교란이 부과된 후, temperature variance의 국부 최대값은 점진적으로 증가하나, 온도 소산량은 급격히 줄어들게 되면서 온도장의 시간스케일 및 Taylor micro length로 판단한 길이스케일이 모두 감소하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 난류 Prandtl수가 벽면 근방에서 0.25정도까지 급격히 감소되었는데, 이는 벽면에 작용된 운동량 교란에 대한 속도장 및 온도장의 역학적 반응이 전반적으로 다르다는 것을 의미하며, 따라서 속도장과 온도장의 상사성이 급격히 감소된다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

SONDRESTROM 비간섭 산란 레이더 자료를 이용한 극지방 전리층의 기후학적 특성 연구 (CLIMATOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POLAR IONOSPHERE BASED ON THE SONDRESTROM INCOHERENT SCATTER RADAR MEASUREMENTS)

  • 전리층의 전기 전도도와 전기장을 구함으로써 극지방 전리층의 기후학적 특성을 살펴보았다 이를 위해, 총 109일간의 Sondrestrom 비간섭 산란 레이더 자료를 이용하였다. 전기 전도도와 전기장을 이용하여 전리층 전류 분포를 추정하였고, 구해진 전리층 전류 밀도와 그로 인해 유발되는 지상 지자기 변화를 비교하였다. 또한 지상 지자기 변화(특히, D 성분)에 대한 연자기력선 전류의 효과도 검토되었다. Sondrestrom 상공 전리층에 대한 몇 가지 흥미로운 기후학적 특성을 본 연구로부터 알 수 있었다: (1) 주간의 전기 전도도 분포는 주로 태양 EUV복사에 의한 것이며, 야간에는 미약하다. (2) 극관 영역 전리층의 전기 전도도 분포는, 주간에는 태양 EUV복사에 의한 분포를 보이는 반면, 야간에는 Hall 및 Pedersen 전기 전도도의 시간 평균이 각각 1.6 및 1.2 siemen으로 아주 낮다. (3) 남북 성분 전기장의 최대치가 낮 영역에 나타나는 경향이 있다. 동서 성분 전기장은 Chatanika에 비해 강하다 (4) 동서 성분 전류는 낮 영역에서 강하게 흐른다. 정오 바로 전에 강한 남향 전류가 흐른다. (5) 오로라제트전류와 동시에 관측된 지상 지자기 변화 $({{\Delta}}H)$ 사이에 높은 상관관계를 나타낸다. 하지만 무한판상을 가정한 전류가 크게 과소평가 된다. 또한 ${{\Delta}}H$의 관계보다 더 높게 나타나며, 이것은 연자기력선 전류가 ${\Delta}7$에 영향을 미친다는 것을 의미한다.
