Methods: The sample of this study consisted of 274 nurses from 2 general hospitals located in Incheon. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and were analyzed by hierarchical multiple regression. Results: Distributive and interactional justices had positive impacts on nurses' job satisfaction. Distributive, procedural and interactional justices had negative impacts on nurses' intent to leave. It was found out that positive affectivity significantly moderated the effect of interactional justice on job satisfaction while dispositional affectivity did not significantly moderate the effect of organizational justice on the intent to leave. Conclusion: The results imply that hospital administrators should pay attention to the dispositional affectivity of nurses to increase their job satisfaction. Further, hospital needs to maintain organizational justice to reduce nurses' turnover.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of service failure magnitude on perceived justice, positive emotion, and revisit intention at restaurants between a collectivist culture(Korea) and an individualistic culture(United States). The results showed that the higher a customer's perception of service failure magnitude, the lower the perceived recovery justices in both cultures. The distributive, procedural, and interactional justices had a favorable effect on positive emotions in both cultures. Other findings revealed that interactional justice was the best predictor of revisit intention in Korea, while distributive justice was the best determinant of revisit intention in the United States. This research suggests that global restaurant managers need to understand how cultural orientation influences consumer perceptions of service failures in order to develop a highly targeted and effective service recovery.

  • The objective of this study is to explore the perceptions of justice regarding the implementation of flexible work arrangements, as well as to analyze the effects of such arrangements on job satisfaction and organizational effectiveness. The present study posits three key aspects, namely distributive justice, procedural justice, and interactional justice, which are hypothesized to influence individuals' impression of justice in relation to flexible work systems. To investigate the influence of job types on an R&D organization, specifically comparing R&D employees and office management employees, a dataset of 190 R&D employees and 50 office management employees was collected. The findings of the investigation provide empirical evidence that distributive justice has a significant impact on the level of job satisfaction among employees in both research and development (R&D) and office administration roles. Moreover, the influence of work satisfaction on organizational performance is noteworthy, particularly with regard to factors such as job dedication, organizational citizenship behavior, and knowledge sharing. The aforementioned findings offer significant insights for research and development (R&D) firms that have incorporated flexible work arrangements. These insights underscore the significance of emphasizing specific justice perceptions in order to augment job satisfaction and overall performance within the organization.
