This paper presents a distributed algorithm for deadlock detection in distributed computing system. The deadlock could be detected optimally from cycle. This algorithm maintains the Process-Resource Table and it could be found the deadlock from the table.

독립된 자율로봇에서 머신비젼의 구동을 위해 본 논문에서는 DARS(Distributed Autonomous Robotic System)에 적용하기 위한 디지털 이미지 프로세싱을 연구하고, DARS의 개별 로봇에 이를 임베디드화하는 것을 연구한다. 따라서 로봇을 구동하기 위해 필요한 데이터를 CMOS 카메라로부터 수신하여 영상을 스캔한 후, 원영상을 신경망 알고리즘을 통해 클러스터링하여 필요한 데이터를 추출한다. 또 이를 사용자 컴퓨터 단말기 상에 디스플레이하고, 최종적으로 DARS의 자율 이동 로봇이 영상 데이터를 인지하여 특정한 선택 동작을 수행하도록 한다.

In the industrial field nowadays the information that needs to be handled arc increasing and requires faster speed in contrast with PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) or DCS(Distributed Control System) based control systems these days. The work environment these days are mostly based on PC, so the control systems are wanted in PC. At Fieldbus used automated systems performing distributed process control by PC performs and combines into one system in order to maximize the increase of productivity, lower the expense, planning constructing and maintaining the reliance of automation. These latest automation systems unites process, makes distributed control process able, and can control and supervise at remote PC.

A mobile computing environment has many difference in character from conventional communication over wired network. These include very presents distributed design system based the mobile agent for mobile computing environment. To integrate design resource, we presented ISA(Integration Service Agent, which allows a designer to build integrated application using distributed resources, and to collaborative by exchanging service. Also we propose ICM(XML based Intelligent Connection Manger) using mobile agent. And suggested new intelligent data and process transfer architecture using ICM to implement an agent based design system in mobile environment.

In distributed arithmetic-based architecture for an inner product between two length-N vectors, the size of the ROM increases exponentially with N. Moreover, the ROMs are generally the bottleneck of speed, especially when their sire is large. In this paper, a ROM size reduction technique for DA (Distributed Arithmetic) is proposed. The proposed method is based on modified OBC (Offset Binary Coding) and control circuit reduction technique. By simulations, it is shown that the use of the proposed technique can result in reduction in the number of gates up to 50%.

This paper compares operational and network analysis of centralized and distributed repository for big data solutions in the IoT enabled Smart Grid environment. The comparative analysis clearly depicts that centralize repository consumes less memory consumption while distributed locality-based repository reduce network complexity issues than centralize repository in state-of-the-art Big Data Solution.

In this research, our goal is to realize Korean Distribute TTS system with server/client function in wireless network. The speech databases and some routines of TTS system is stuck with the server which has strong functions and we made Korean speech databases and accomplished research about DB which is suitable for distributed TTS. We designed a terminal has the minimum setting which operate this TTS and designed proper protocol so we will check action of Distributed TTS.

This paper proposes a model for simulation and performance evaluation of distributed computer systems(DCS). The model is composed of operating system(OS), resource, task, environment submodel. Task Flow Graph(TFG) is suggested to describe the relation between tasks. This paper considers task response time, the scheduler's ready queue length, utilization of each resource as performance indices. The distributed system of Continuous Annealing Line(CAL) in iron process is simulated with the proposed model.

User's qualities of services (QoS) are the basic requirements involved in distributed multimedia systems. Considering ATM network, ATM adapter cannot control the end-to-end connection satisfying the user's QoS. This paper describes the new concept of a QoS prediction management system in the distributed network and the configuration of it's QoS prediction management architecture and also discusses it's algorithm.

We present the web-based remote monitoring system using distributed object technology. In order to provide the desired functionality, the system has used CORBA(Common Object Request Architecture) and Java Servlet to implement the integrated distributed object environment. It converts the existing standalone machine monitoring system into web-based machine monitoring system. It consists of applet program, CORBA server and CORBA client. The usefulness of our system will be illustrated by the application to ICM(Integrated Condition Monitoring) System developed by KIST Tribology Center.
