수정된 MAP 적응 기법을 이용한 음성 데이터 자동 군집화 (Automatic Clustering of Speech Data Using Modified MAP Adaptation Technique)

  • This paper proposes a speaker and environment clustering method in order to overcome the degradation of the speech recognition performance caused by various noise and speaker characteristics. In this paper, instead of using the distance between Gaussian mixture model (GMM) weight vectors as in the Google's approach, the distance between the adapted mean vectors based on the modified maximum a posteriori (MAP) adaptation is used as a distance measure for vector quantization (VQ) clustering. According to our experiments on the simulation data generated by adding noise to clean speech, the proposed clustering method yields error rate reduction of 10.6% compared with baseline speaker-independent (SI) model, which is slightly better performance than the Google's approach.

The Effect of Various Sowing Rate and Row Distance on Yield and Yield Components of Chickling Vetch (Lathyrus sativus L.) in Thrace Region, Turkey

  • This research was concluded under dryland condition in Thrace region in 1994-1995 growing season. This experiment was arranged in randomised block design with three replications. Yield and some important yield components (plant height, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod and 1000 seed weight) were determined. According to the results, it can be concluded that the best sowing rate and row distance of chickling vetch for the region are $100\;seed/\textrm{m}^2$ and 20 cm, respectively.

가변 크기 문맥과 거리가중치를 이용한 동형이의어 중의성 해소 (Word sense disambiguation using dynamic sized context and distance weighting)

  • 의미 중의성 해소를 위한 대부분의 기존 연구에서는 문장의 특성에 상관없이 고정적인 크기의 문맥을 사용해 왔다. 본 논문에서는 중의성 해소에서 문장에 따라 가변적인 크기의 문맥을 사용하는 가변길이 윈도우와 단어간 거리를 사용한 의미분석 방법을 제안한다. 세종코퍼스의 형태의미분석 말뭉치로 학습하여 12단어 32,735문장에 대해 실험한 결과에서 제안된 방법이 용언에 대하여 92.2%의 평균 정확도를 보여 고정 크기의 문맥을 사용한 경우에 비해 향상된 결과를 보였다.

  • In parametric approach to a signature verification, it generally uses so many redundant features unsuitable for each individual signature that it causes harm, instead. This paper proposes a method of determining personalized weights of a feature set in signature verification with parametric approach by identifying the characteristics of each feature. For an individual signature, we define a degree of how difficult it is for any other person to forge the one's (called 'DFD' as the Degree of Forgery Difficulty). According to the statistical characteristics and the intuitional characteristics of each feature, the standard features are classified into four types. Four types of DFD functions are defined and applied into the distance calculation as a personalized weight factor. Using this method, the error rate of signature verification is reduced and the variation of the performance is less sensitive to the changes of decision threshold.

  • In continuous galvanizing process at steel making plant, coating weight on the surface of strip that pass through air knife is controlled by the pressure at the chamber of air knife and the gap between the nozzle of air knife and strip. The pressure can be easily measured and controlled. But it is difficult to measure the distance between Air knife nozzle and strip, and also difficult to decide how much distance air knife move. Because, the gap between nozzle and strip varies with the height of air knife, intermesh of stabilizing roll and welding of strips that have different thickness. In this research, we developed a gap sensor that can measure the relative distance between Air knife nozzle and strip. Routing Decision with Link-weight Calculating Function in WDM Switching Networks

  • In this paper, we have proposed the new link-weight calculating function using for routing decision in WDM networks. The proposed link-weight calculating functions includes following factors those are available wavelengths per link, distance loss, total wavelengths, and limited wavelength conversion. The calculated link-weight is applied into the algorithm of routing decision in order to determine the available lightpath that qualifies user requests. The objective is to improve the performance of wavelengths assignment with fast determining the suitable lightpath by using the proposed link-weights calculating function. The analytical model of WDM switching networks is introduced for numerical analysis. The link-weight calculating function is performed. Finally, the performance of proposed algorithm is displayed with numerical results in term of the blocking probability, the probability that connection requests from users are rejected due to there are no available lightpath to be assigned for them. It is also shown that the blocking probability is varied in depending on the number of available wavelengths and the degree of wavelength conversion. The numerical results also show that the proposed link-weight calculating function is more cost-effective choice for the routing decision in WDM switching networks.

FreeCAD를 이용한 스마트폰 셀카봉의 경량화 설계에 관한 연구 (A Research about light-weight design of selfie-rod with FreeCAD)

  • Recently, a popularity of the smartphone is on the rise. And also related services are being created. The growth of the smart technology makes advanced equipment for smartphone accessories. Selfie-rod is one of them. Selfie-rod satisfies people who want to take their own picture at long distance. However, the weight of recent selfie-rods is too heavy that has nice functions. So, we have re-designed new selfie-rod that has light-weight body. First, we observed a selfie-rod and check the reason of the selfie-rod's high weight. The new selfie-rod has a shell and inside, there is a space that it can be light-weight. The shell and space make the selfie-rod lighter. In FreeCAD, we designed shell with a rotation function. Finally, we designed light-weight body selfie-rod with FreeCAD. FreeCAD can be used easily for beginners of CAD. FreeCAD is suitable 3D-design tool for era of 3D-printing.

고유수용성 신경근 촉진법 신장기법과 정적 신장기법이 몸통 굽힘의 유연성과 체중분포에 미치는 효과 비교연구 (A Comparative Study between the Effects of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Stretching and Passive Stretching on Weight Distribution and Flexibility for Trunk Flexion)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the present study was to compare the effects of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and static stretching on weight distribution and flexibility for trunk flexion. Method: Sixty participants who had no musculoskeletal disorders were recruited from a local university within six months of this study. The participants were randomly assigned to a PNF stretching group (N=30) and a static stretching group (N=32). For the pre-and post-measurement design, the left-right weight distribution, anterior-posterior weight distribution, and finger-to-floor distance (FFD) were measured before and after the stretching interventions. Result: The FFD results were significantly improved after the interventions, regardless of the group differentiation (p<0.05). The PNF stretching intervention significantly increased the differences between anterior and posterior weight distribution compared to the static stretching group (p<0.05). Conclusions: Both the PNF and static stretching interventions could improve flexibility for trunk flexion mobility. Although the PNF intervention improved the weight distribution in the anterior-posterior direction, further research is required to investigate the various PNF interventions on left-and-right and anterior-posterior weight distribution.

IPTV환경에서 온톨로지와 k-medoids기법을 이용한 개인화 시스템 (Personalized Recommendation System for IPTV using Ontology and K-medoids)

  • 최근 방송과 통신의 융합으로 TV에 통신이라는 기술이 접목되면서, TV 시청 형태에 많은 변화를 가져왔다. 이러한 형태의 TV 시청 변화는 서비스 선택의 폭을 넓혀주지만 프로그램을 선택을 위해 많은 시간을 투자해야 한다. 이러한 단점을 개선하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 IPTV환경에서 사용자의 다양한 콘텐츠를 제공하는 방송 환경에서 고객의 시청 정보를 바탕으로 고객 사용정보 온톨로지를 구축하고 그에 따라 고객을 k-medoids 방법을 이용해서 클러스터링 한다. 이를 바탕으로 고객이 선호하는 콘텐츠를 추천 하는 방법을 제안하였다. 실험부분에서 본 제안방법의 우수성을 기존의 방법과 비교하여 보여준다.

주간 거리에 따른 하이부쉬블루베리 'Duke' 품종의 수체 생육, 과실 특성, 작업 시간 (Growth and Fruit Characteristics and Working Time of 'Duke' Highbush Blueberry by Shrub Distance)

  • 블루베리 조생종 'Duke'의 주간 거리에 따른 수체 생육, 과실 특성, 수확량 및 작업 시간 등을 조사하였다. 수관이 겹치는 비율이 재식 5년차인 0.6 m 주간 거리에서 109%, 1.2 m 주간 거리에서는 37%로 주간 거리가 좁을수록 수관이 겹치는 양상이 심하였다. 주축지 수는 0.6 m와 1.2 m 주간 거리에 비해 2.4 m 간격에서 많은 것으로 나타났다. 과실 특성 중 과중은 2.4 m 주간 거리 처리구에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 당도, 산도, 경도와 같은 다른 과실 특성은 예상대로 주간 거리별로 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 수확량은 연차별로 큰 차이 없이 0.6 m > 1.2 m > 2.4 m 주간 거리순이었으며 재식 5년차인 2019년에는 10a 당 수확량이 0.6 m의 경우 2,097 kg, 1.2 m의 경우 1,303 kg, 2.4 m의 경우 710.7 kg로 나타났다. 총 작업 시간은 0.6 m 주간 거리의 경우 154시간이었으며 1.2 m 주간 거리는 약 114시간(0.6 m 간격의 74%), 2.4 m 주간 거리는 약 74시간(0.6 m 간격의 48%)이었다. 따라서 장기적으로는 주간 거리 1.2 m가 블루베리 재배 시 가장 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 조기에 수확량을 늘려 소득 증진을 위해서는 유목기에는 0.6 m 간격으로 유지하다 성목기에 이르러 1.2 m 간격으로 조성하는 계획적 밀식 방법으로 유동적으로 관리할 수 있다.
