  • A new method which uses distance fields scheme and marching cube algorithm is proposed in order to get an accurate offset model of arbitrary shapes composed of triangular net. In the method, the space bounding the triangular net is divided into smaller cells. For the efficient calculation of distance fields, valid cells which will generate a portion of offset model are selected previously by the suggested detection algorithm. These valid cells are divided again into much smaller voxels which assure required accuracy. At each voxel distance fields are created by calculating the minimum distances between corner points of voxels and triangular net. After generating the whole distance fields, the offset surface were constructed by using the conventional marching cube algorithm together with mesh smoothing scheme. The effectiveness and validity of this new offset method was demonstrated by performing numerical experiments for the various types of triangular net.

  • Physical therapists are exposured to radio-and microwave-frequency electromagnetic radiation by operating electrotherapy units. So there is few protection system in physical therapy room. Clinical pathology room and so on where various kins of electromagnetic instruments is used in hospital while protection failities like protection wall or protection glass is being used only in radiological room to reduce the damage of radiation. Acoording to Larsen's survey on female physical therapist in denmark. it was said that the percentage of congenital malfornation was $3.6\%$ and cadiac malformation made up $0.7\%$. It is likely that effect of electromagnetic fields on the result cannot be ruled out. Rita ouellet-Hellstron and Walter F. Steward insisted that the danger of abortion increase in the case of pregnant femeal physical therapist exposured to microwave diathermy. The intention of our study is arousing the necessity of microwave protection in P.T room and finding the proper method for physical therapist safe. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Each electrotherapy units are occurrenced the electromagnetic fields, and specially amply occurrenced in H.P,I.C.T 2 unit operating, M.W.D unit head on parallel, S.W.D unit head on parallel. all electrotherapy units are operating. 2. • Implicit surfaces are geometric shapes which are defined by implicit functions and exist in three-dimensional space. Recently, implicit surfaces have received much attention in solid modeling applications because they are easy to represent the location of points and to use boolean operations. However, it is difficult to chart points on implicit surfaces for rendering. As efficient rendering method of implicit surfaces, the original Adaptively Sampled Distance Fields (ADFs) $method^{[1]}$ is to use sampled distance fields which subdivide the three dimensional space of implicit surfaces into many cells with high sampling rates in regions where the distance field contains fine detail and low sampling rates where the field varies smoothly. In this paper, in order to maintain the sharp features efficiently with small number of cells, an extended ADFs method is proposed, applying the Dual/Primal mesh optimization $method^{[2]}$ to the original ADFs method. The Dual/Primal mesh optimization method maintains sharp features, moving the vertices to tangent plane of implicit surfaces and reconstructing the vertices by applying a curvature-weighted factor. The proposed extended ADFs method is applied to several examples of implicit surfaces to evaluate the efficiency of the rendering performance.

  • We show that large subsets of vector spaces over finite fields determine certain point configurations with prescribed distance structure. More specifically, we consider the complete graph with vertices as the points of $A{\subseteq}F^d_q$ and edges assigned the algebraic distance between pairs of vertices. We prove nontrivial results on locating specified subgraphs of maximum vertex degree at most t in dimensions $d{\geq}2t$.

  • A new approach based on cone prism intersection method combined with sorting algorithm is proposed for the fast and robust signed distance field computation. In the method, the space bounding the geometric model composed of triangular net is divided into multiple smaller cells. For the efficient calculation of distance fields, valid points among the triangular net which will generate minimum distances with current cell are selected by checking the intersection between current cell and cone prism generated at each point. The method is simple to implement and able to achieve an order of magnitude improvement in the computation time as compared to earlier approaches. Further the method is robust in handling the traditional sign problems. The validity of the suggested method was demonstrated by providing numerous examples including Boolean operation, shape deformation and morphing of complex geometric models.

  • In this paper, measurement and analysis of ELF electric and magnetic fields in the vicinity of 22.9[kV] distribution line have been performed. The height of measuring point from the earth's surface was 1[m], and the distance between the device and the operator was more than 3[m]. The experiments have been carried out by lateral profile, and we have made use of FIELDS program for the sake of comparision the experimental data with the theoretical value. Electric and magnetic fields intensity were strong under a distribution line, and were inversely proportional to lateral distance. The profiles of electric field were M shape and those of magnetic field were $\cap$ shape. Electric and magnetic fields intensity were increased with increasing the measurement height.

  • In this paper, the theoretical and experimental characteristics of magnetic and electric fields in the vicinity of high voltage lines are investigated. To realize these measurements and calculations, we have developed some equations for two overhead power line configurations of 150 kV (single circuit, double circuit), based on Biot-savart law, image and Maxwell theories, in order to calculate the magnetic and electric fields. The measurements were done to a maximum distance from the tower of 50 m, at a height of 1m from the ground. These experiments take into consideration the real situations of the power lines and associated equipment. The experimental results obtained are near to that of the Biot-Savart theoretical results for a far distance from the tower; and for a distance close to the power line, the results from the image theory are in good agreement with the experimental results.

  • This paper concerns the rate of convergence in the multidimensional normal approximation of functional of Gaussian fields. The aim of the present work is to derive explicit upper bounds of the Kolmogorov distance for the rate of convergence instead of Wasserstein distance studied by Nourdin et al. [Ann. Inst. H. Poincar$\acute{e}$(B) Probab.Statist. 46(1) (2010) 45-98].

  • The V-I characteristics of low pressure discharges occurring between each of three kinds of anode and a fixed hot cathode in several bi-cusp magnetic fields are investigated. The results are different from those in non-magnetic fields as follows` First, both breakdown and maintaining potentials of low pressure discharges in the fields are rather depend on the arrangement of the directions of magnetic lines of force and the directions between two electrodes than on the distance between two electrodes or the size of the electrodes. Second, the maintaining potentials of the discharges in the fields are lower than those in the non-fields, and the electrical conductivity in the fields are better than those in the non-fields. Third, the breakdown potertials in the fields when the direction of magnetic lines of force is perpendicular with the direction of discharging path between two electrodes are higher than those when the two directions are parallel with each other. But the maintaining patentials in the fields are shown the contrary phenomena with before. This results are particularily conspicuous as the separatrix of the fields pass across the discharging path between two electrodes.

  • The position of propeller fan from duct inlet is one of basic parameters for the design of propeller fan. To investigate the effect of its position on fan characteristics, the inlet flow fields and relative flow angles were measured by a 5-hole pitot tube. The experimental results indicate that the ratio of radial flow introduced from propeller circumference to total inlet flow increases with the increase of propeller distance from duct inlet. When fan operates without duct, the total flow rate and the radial flow ratio are higher than those of any other positions of propeller relative to duct inlet. The radial flow ratio decreases as a flow coefficient and the propeller distance decrease. Therefore the front flow fields can be adjusted in some extent by varying the propeller distance according to a fan loading. The inlet flow angles are decreasing a little as a rotational speed and the propeller distance decrease. In the present case it was judged that the deviation angle of outlet flow became negative owing to a flow separation near a trailing edge.
