SMOTE를 이용한 편중된 횡 분산계수 데이터에 대한 추정식 개발 (Development of empirical formula for imbalanced transverse dispersion coefficient data set using SMOTE)

  • 본 연구에서는 과거 추적자실험결과를 이용하여 2차원 횡분산계수에 대한 새로운 추정식을 개발하고 추정식을 이용한 횡 분산계수 산정결과의 정확도를 검증했다. 다수의 추적자실험이 하폭 대 수심비가 50보다 작은 조건에서 수행되었기 때문에 기존 추적자실험결과만을 이용하여 개발한 추정식은 하폭 대 수심비가 50보다 큰 조건의 하천에 적용하는데 한계를 보인다. 따라서 특정 수리조건에 편중된 횡 분산계수 자료로부터 횡 분산계수 추정식을 개발하기 위해 SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Oversampling TEchnique)를 적용하여 기존 자료의 특성을 반영한 새로운 데이터를 생성했다. SMOTE 기법으로 하폭 대 수심비가 50보다 큰 조건에 대한 수리량과 횡 분산계수 데이터를 생성하였으며, ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) 곡선으로부터 생성된 데이터의 신뢰성을 검증했다. 새롭게 생성된 데이터를 포함하여 횡 분산계수 추정식을 개발했고, 추정식을 이용하여 계산한 횡 분산계수의 R2(결정계수)를 계산하여 기존 연구에서 제안한 추정식과의 정확도를 비교했다. 그 결과, 본 연구에서 개발한 추정식을 이용하여 계산한 횡 분산계수의 R2가 W/H < 50인 조건에서 0.81, 50 < W/H 인 조건에서 0.92를 나타내어 기존 추정식과 비교하여 향상된 정확도를 나타냈다.

  • This paper deals with the dispersion relation of the waves sustained in a cylindrical shell submerged in the fluid. The waveguide finite method and the boundary element method are used to predict the dispersion characteristic of the cylindrical shell. The dispersion diagram of the cylinder is estimated from the eigenvalue problem and the forced vibration response. It follows that the water-loading leads to the decrease of the cut-on frequencies and the phase speeds of the bending waves. On the contrary, the longitudinal waves and the torsional waves are hardly affected by the fluid, and therefore the order of the cut-on frequencies of the waves is changed. The acoustic dispersion diagram is also estimated from the forced acoustic response to identify the characteristics of the wave radiated to the fluid. It follows that the acoustic waves on and near the surface of the cylinder are the same as those in the structure. But at the far field the acoustic waves caused by subsonic waves e.g., the bending waves disappear as the increase of the distance. Conclusively, the characteristics of waves in cylindrical shells are significantly affected by water-loading in terms of the cut-on frequency, the wave speed, the order of the cut-on and radiation.

분산강화 동합금의 Creep 특성 (The Characteristics of Creep for Dispersion Strengthened Copper)

  • The static creep behaviors of dispersion strengthened copper GlidCop were investigated over the temperature range of $650{\sim}690^{\circ}C$ (0.7Tm) and the stress range of 40~55 MPa (4.077~5.61 $kg/mm^2$). The stress exponents for the static creep deformation of this alloy was 8.42, 9.01, 9.25, 9.66 at the temperature of 690, 677, 663, and $650^{\circ}C$, respectively. The stress exponent, (n) increased with decreasing the temperature and became dose to 10. The apparent activation energy for the static creep deformation, (Q) was 374.79, 368.06, 361.83, and 357.61 kg/mole for the stress of 40, 45, 50, and 55 MPa, respectively. The activation energy (Q) decreased with increasing the stress and was higher than that of self diffusion of Cu in the dispersion strengthened copper. In results, it can be concluded that the static creep deformation for dispersion strengthened copper was controlled by the dislocation climb over the ranges of the experimental conditions. Larson-Miller parameter (P) for the crept specimens for dispersion strengthened copper under the static creep conditions was obtained as P=(T+460)(logtr+23). The failure plane observed for SEM slightly showed up transgranular at that experimental range, however, universally it was dominated by characteristic of the intergranular fracture.

A comprehensive analysis of horizontally polarized shear waves in a thin microstructural plate

  • Horizontally polarized shear waves (SH) have numerous applications in various scientific, engineering, and medical fields. The study deals with an investigation of SH-waves in a thin microstructural plate. The plate has been mathematically modelled by employing size dependent consistent couple stress theory, which involves a length parameter, known as characteristic length. Characteristic length is assumed to be of the order of internal microstructures of the material. Dispersion relations have been calculated for the propagation of SH-waves using different set of boundary conditions. Group velocity of the SH-waves has been calculated by using an analytical approach. The mathematical results obtained in the problem are discussed in detail and the impacts of characteristic length parameter and thickness of plate are presented on phase velocity of SH-waves through graphical illustrations.

$H_{12}MDI$를 이용한 수분산 폴리우레탄 수지의 합성 및 ammonium dihydrogen phosphate에 의한 물성변화에 관한 연구 (A study on synthesis of polyurethane dispersion by $H_{12}MDI$ and how effect to mechanical properties by ammonium dihydrogen phosphate)

  • 본 연구에서는 $H_{12}MDI$(4,4'-methylene dicyclohexyl diisocyanate)를 이용한 수분산 폴리우레탄 수지를 합성한 다음 방염제로 활용이 되고 있는 2-인산암모늄(ammonium dihydrogen phosphate) 수용액을 수분산 우레탄 수지에 적하량을 점차 증가시켜 변화하는 물성을 피혁(leather)에 표면 코팅처리된 상태 및 열풍 건조시킨 필름의 물성을 측정 분석하였다. 내용제성 측정 결과 높은 내용제성 물성을 지닌 폴리우레탄 수지에 2-인산암모늄의 함량에 따른 물성적 변화는 크게 없었으며 모두 높은 물성치를 나타내었다. 인장 강도 측정치에서는 폴리우레탄 단독 필름의 측정치가 $3.114kg_f/mm^2$로 가장 높은 수치를 나타내었으며, 2-인산암모늄의 합량이 제일 높은 DPU-AD3가 가장 낮은 인장력 $2.510kg_f/mm^2$을 나타내었다. 또한 내마모도 측정에서는 DPU가 제일 높은 50.50 mg.loss로 우수한 물성변화를 나타내었고, 연실율의 경우역시 우레탄 단독 코팅인 DPU가 602 %로 가장 높은 수치를 나타내었다. DSC측정결과 2-인산암모늄의 함유가 높은 DPU-AD3이 Tm 값이 $384^{\circ}C$로 고온에서 가장 안정한 수치를 나타내었다.

단일 및 혼합 용매계 실리카 분산체의 점도 특성 및 유변학적 거동 (The Rheology of the Silica Dispersion System with Single and Mixed Solvent)

  • 하이드록시기 유무, 극성도, 분자 크기가 서로 다른 용매 6종의 단일 용매 또는 혼합 용매계 흄드 실리카 분산체를 제조하고 각 분산체의 점도 및 유변학적 거동을 용매계의 특성의 관점에서 고찰하였다. 하이드록시기 포함 용매에 실리카를 분산하였을 때 안정적이고 저점도의 sol을 형성하였고 하이드록시기가 없고 비극성인 용매는 고점도의 gel을 형성하였다. 비극성 용매계 실리카 분산체에 하이드록시기 함유 용매를 첨가하면 일정 함량까지는 점도 감소 현상을 관찰할 수 있었으며, 더 이상의 점도 변화가 발생하지 않는 최소 임계함량이 있었다. 최소 임계함량은 하이드록시기 미포함 용매의 극성도가 클수록 줄어들었다. 하이드록시기 포함 용매계 실리카 분산체가 안정적인 저점도의 sol을 형성하는데 이는 실리카 표면의 실란올기와 용매의 하이드록시기간의 수소결합을 통한 용매화로 저점도 sol을 형성하는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 비극성용매에 실리카를 분산하였을 때는 실리카 표면의 실란올기 사이의 수소 결합을 통해 응집이 일어나 고점도의 gel이 형성되었다.

  • This paper provides the result of analysis of the structure and I-V characteristics of D.C. 1500 V surge arresters which were installed in railway line currently. As Porcelain housed surge arresters have unstable elements such as exploding and dispersion, so it is thought that the system is protected more stably with replacement of polymer housing. The adoption of gap mitigates the voltage stress which is degradation factor of surge arresters and the research is needed to enhance the life characteristic in additive and manufacturing process. Therefore, it is thought that the research should be continued to develop homemade the surge arresters for D.C. railway line as well as transmission line.

The role of polymers in dispersion stability and film formation of silica/PVA suspension

  • Researches on the drying of particle/polymer suspensions receive attentions in technical applications such as manufacturing display and batteries. In this study, the effect of polymers on drying behavior of silica/poly(vinyl alcohol) suspension was investigated in terms of suspension stability and stress development during drying. The effect of polymer adsorption was studied by changing pH. More strongly flocculated suspension with lower pH became more dispersed and close-packed film after drying. Evaluation of potential energy allows us to suggest that the adsorbed polymers which bridge the particles introduce steric repulsion and lead flocculated suspension to dispersed film. When the effect of adsorption kinetics was studied by changing the mixing time, the adsorption amount, characteristic stress and dried film density showed a similar behavior in the form of with a single characteristic time. It implies that the drying process can be determined by simple characteristic equation with a single time constant.

액상/기상중 전기선 폭발법을 이용한 은 나노유체의 제조 및 특성평가에 관한 연구 (Synthesis and Characterization of Silver Nanofluid Using Pulsed Wire Evaporation Method in Liquid-Gas Mixture)

  • The silver nanofluids were synthesized by the pulsed wire evaporation (PWE) method in a liquid-gas mixture. The size and microstructure of nanoparticles in the deionized water were investigated by a particle size analyzer (PSA), transmission electron microscope (TEM), and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Also, the synthesized nanofluids were investigated in order to assess the stability of dispersion of nanofluid by the zetapotential analyzer and dispersion stability analyzer. The results showed that the spherical silver nanoparticle formed in the deionized water and mean particle size was about 50 nm. Also, when explosion times were in the range of 20$\sim$200 times, the absolute value of zeta potential was less than -27 mV and the dispersion stability characteristic of low concentration silver nanofluid was better than the high concentration silver nanofluid by turbiscan.
