  • Life cycle assessment (LCA) on total sewage sludge treatment system from thickening to incineration and melting was performed for estimating global environmental impact as $CO_2$. In general, the life cycles of actual treatment facilities consist of construction, operation and dismantlement. In this study, the amount of $CO_2$ produced from both whole and each life cycle step of currently used unit sludge treatment processes were calculated by inventory analysis. In addition, in the all processes investigated in this study, individual $CO_2$ production unit (CPU), i.e. total produced $CO_2$ by treating a unit weight of sludge was also calculated. By using the CPU matrix of the unit processes, it was possible to simulate the $CO_2$ production for any type of complex-system as well as to trace a dominant cause of $CO_2$ production in each process. Four selected alternatives examined here, each involve the same disposal way but differ substantially in the $CO_2$ exhaust.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the 21C Fashion's expression related to 'Verfremdung' theory, in aesthetic theories established after modern times, and then to examine a new meaning and value. The expressions of 'Verfremdung(estrangement)' in modern fashion, appear the followings: 1) placing distance with traditional sex and rational beauty of body. 2) paradox of inversion, 3) illogical juxtapositions by encounter. 4) dismantlement of material concept etc. After showing practically production technique that breaks traditional exception, that is, a new design method of open concept which drives positive idea about discrepancy of realities. This trial has warning abut art's self-control occurring at the time when aesthetic disinterestedness theory is expanded, and is considered indictment about a inhuman property of modern civilization and culture, and is considered expression of will to show alienation by it.

  • As a result of the rapid industrialization in Korea, dismantlement of traditional rural villages and sharp decreases in rural populations have been common phenomena in rural areas in Korea. Recently, some rural villages have made efforts to revitalize their villages particularly with emphasis on the sustainable development of the village. Mundang village is one of the good examples of rural village revitalization. Residents of the village established centennial plan for the sustainable village with the help of the experts. The paper introduces the summary of the planning process and plan itself.

  • The position of each part of the Ten storied pagoda of Gyeongcheonsa has been changed because of illegal dismantlement and assembling throughout the history. There remain carved letters in the part of pagoda, which let us know the incorrect assembling of the parts, however, we still don't know the reasons. The pagoda has been under conservation process by the conservators from Conservation Science Division in the National Research Institute of Cultural Properties. It is one of the main purposes to find an original structure of the pagoda by appropriate assembling. The existence of iconography and carved letters are very useful in the conservation process. Mis-assembled parts are mostly in the pedestal of the Chinese letter('아') and in the bodies up to third floor. The iconography of the pagoda has many similarities to the Ten storied pagoda of Wongaksaji.

  • The Dismantlement and Construction of the buildings have the characteristic of floating change with repetition within a Time Schedule which has fixed resources, that is, Manpower, Materials and Equipments, and involve many disaster factors in performing each processes. But as these factors are variable, a work supervisor should be able to understand data analysed distinctive factors of each activities systematically, organizationally, and scientifically, and diagrammatic information media so that he can control any complex and situation beyond forecast. Thus this study is intended to be a barometer of weighing if the existing process schedule has taken security into consideration by making the characteristics of organization and action of Work package per process in a building field with more factors like these into a network system and is intended to minimize construction disasters by systematizing this into a Transformational Network.

  • Dismantlement of lithium primary batteries without explosion is required to recycle the lithium primary batteries which could be exploded by heating too much or crushing. In the present study, the optimum discharging condition was investigated to dismantle the batteries without explosion. When the batteries were discharged with $0.5kmol{\cdot}m^{-3}$ sulfuric acid, the batteries became inert after 4 days at $35^{\circ}C$ and after 1 day at $50^{\circ}C$, respectively. This result shows that higher temperature accelerates inert of the batteries. Because loss of metals recycled increases when the batteries are discharged only with the sulfuric acid, discharging process using acid solution and water was newly proposed. When the batteries were discharged with water during 24 hours after discharging with $0.5kmol{\cdot}m^{-3}$ sulfuric acid during 6 hours, the batteries discharged were dismantled without explosion. Because decrease in loss of metals was accomplished by new process, the recycling process of the batteries could become economic by the 2-step discharging process.

  • The purpose of this thesis is to discuss corsets that represent an undergarment that later became a popular outerwear. It discusses its forms and distinct characteristics to help create a unique fashion design and its execution. The scope of this study is limited to works from the 1990s to the present, and the materials for the literatures and exploratory study are fashion-related portfolios and the domestic and foreign fashion magazines. The results of this study are summarized as follows: The standard look of corsets in modern fashion can be classified into styles of glamour, revival, and dismantle. The materials used vary from traditional fabrics such as satin or lace to newly developed materials such as metal or glass. Its presentation can also differ in that it may be used as an accessory with additional details, as an outerwear, as an extra decorative layer, or as a revealing innerwear by open outerwear. Characteristics of these various looks of corsets are; first, it redefines the revival of the traditional corsets through introduction of its historic elements and its compromise. Second, glamorous and feminine images are maximized through drastic and direct exposure by using tight lacing, a waist nipper or garter belts that emphasize a woman's curve. Third, it represents borderless dismantlement through experimental and irregular images using unconventional materials, new execution techniques, or alteration from the standard forms.

  • Change Detection is a useful technology that can be applied to various fields, taking temporal change information with the comparison and analysis among multi-temporal satellite images. Especially, Change Detection that utilizes high-resolution satellite imagery can be implemented to extract useful change information for many purposes, such as the environmental inspection, the circumstantial analysis of disaster damage, the inspection of illegal building, and the military use, which cannot be achieved by low- or middle-resolution satellite imagery. However, because of the special characteristics that result from high-resolution satellite imagery, it cannot use a pixel-based method that is used for low-resolution satellite imagery. Therefore, it must be used a feature-based algorithm based on the geographical and morphological feature. This paper presents the system that builds the change map by digitizing the boundary of the changed object. In this system, we can make the change map using manual or semi-automatic digitizing through the user interface implemented with a floating window that enables to detect the sign of the change, such as the construction or dismantlement, more efficiently.
