구형 SiO$_2$를 갖는 수방전관의 전계 해석 및 대장균 제거 특성 (Electric Field Analysis and Removal Characteristics of Escherichia Coli for Water Discharge Tube with Globular SiO$_2$)

  • This paper shows the simulation of electric field distribution and removal characteristics of Escherichia coli for water discharge tube with globular $SiO_2$. At the experiments of the removing Escherichia coli used the discharge tube with globular dielectric($SiO_2$), because the electric field is increased when applied voltage is increased, the removed ratio of Escherichia coli was related with increasing of applied voltage. When a passing number of test water in water discharge tube is increased, the removed ratio of Escherichia coli is increased because passing number of territory with electric field is increased. When diameter of globular dielectric($SiO_2$) is increased, the removed time of Escherichia coli was decreased because electric field for dielectric polarization of globular dielectric($SiO_2$) was increased. Also, the removed ratio of Escherichia coli of the water discharge tube with globular dielectric($SiO_2$) was measured higher than the removal ratio of the discharge tube without globular dielectric($SiO_2$)

  • This paper was shown removal characteristic of escherichia coli for discharge tube with globular $SiO_2$. 연직배수재 타설 후 장기간 경과된 지반의 통수성능 (Discharge Capacity of Prefabricated Vertical Drain Confined In-Clay Under Long-Term Conditions)

  • 연약점토 지반 개량을 위해 연직배수재 타설 후 선행재하공법이 일반적으로 적용되는데, 현장에서의 시공계획 변경 등으로 인해 연직배수재 타설 후 장기간 방치되는 경우가 종종 발생된다. 따라서 장기간 방치된 조건에서의 연직배수재 열화 현상을 고려하기 위해 구속압으로 적용되는 수온을 각각 30, 35, $40^{\circ}C$를 적용하였다. 그 결과, 시간경과에 따라 배수성능이 급격히 저하되는 경향을 나타냈다. 그리고 현장 원위치 조건, 즉, 점토 구속조건하에서 장기간 통수능 저하 정도를 평가하기 위하여 Miura와 Chai(2000)식을 적용하였다. 그 결과, 온도 변화 조건에서 수행된 통수능 시험결과를 이용한 신뢰성 해석 방법과 Miura와 chai(2000)식을 적용하여 장기 통수능을 평가할 수 있는 것으로 평가되었다.

영산강 하구의 식물플랑크톤 군집 및 수 환경: 해수역의 주별 변동 (Phytoplankton Community and Surrounding Water Conditions in the Youngsan River Estuary: Weekly Variation in the Saltwater Zone)

  • In this study we conducted a weekly monitoring exercise at a fixed station in the saltwater zone during the dry season (Jan-Mar, 2013) and wet season (Jun-Aug, 2013) to understand the fluctuations in phytoplankton communities and environmental factors in the Youngsan River estuary altered by a dike constructed in the coastal area. Phytoplankton communities displayed seasonality; diatoms were dominant during the dry season whereas dinoflagellates were dominant during the wet season. T-test analysis showed that water temperature was significantly different between the seasons whereas freshwater discharge from the dike was not significantly different. This suggests that seasonal variations of phytoplankton are more likely affected by water temperature than freshwater discharge. However, a short-term fluctuation was also observed in response to freshwater discharge; freshwater species appeared during or after the discharge in the dry and wet seasons and blooms of harmful species developed after the discharge. Phytoplankton communities may be affected by changes in physical factors such as turbidity and salinity and nutrient supply resulting from freshwater discharge. Especially, the nutrient supply may directly contribute to the harmful algal blooms (HABs) composed of dinoflagellates which can adapt to low salinity after freshwater discharge.

다양한 유량 측정기기와 ADCP를 이용한 유량 비교 분석 (Analysis and Comparison of Flow Rate Measurements Using Various Discharge Measuring Instrument and ADCP)

  • Discharge data examine the process of hydrologic cycle and used significantly in water resource planning and irrigation and flood control planning. It makes high quality discharge data, they carry out research on standard and method of discharge measurement, and equipment improvement. Now various flow meters are utilized to make discharge data in Korea. However, accuracy of equipment and exprerimental research data from measurement are not enough. ADCP(Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) have been introduced and utilized for flow measurements since the end of 1980's. ADCP flow method is a formal method for flow measurement can easily applyd to relatively large rivers gradually recognized. This equipment can measure the non-contact three-dimensional velocity and water depth data very quickly and efficiently. Also, spatial and temporal resolution of the data is more accurate than any other flow measurement methods which measure flow rate by velocity - area measurement method. In this paper, the velocity is measured using various flow meter and verified the effectiveness by applying from the ADCP in Geum-river. Various flow meters which are med for discharge measurements are VALEPORT002, FLOW TRACKER, PRICE AA and ADCP. The average of five times flow measurement result by ADCP was $10.412m^3/s$, with a standard deviation of 0.68. The repeat test by ADCP and comparison between ADCP and other flow devices to verify the most import factor, flow measurement accuracy. In the result, repeat test of the ADCP showed similar values, flow values were similar to other velocity device results and the average error is 7.7%.

Optimization of Lithium in Li1+x[Mn0.720Ni0.175Co0.105]O2 as a Cathode Material for Lithium Ion Battery

  • Different amounts of excess lithium in the range of x = 0~0.3 were added to $Li_{1+x}[Mn_{0.720}Ni_{0.175}Co_{0.105}]O_2$ cathode materials synthesized using the co-precipitation method to investigate its microstructure and electrochemical properties. Pure layered structure without impurities was confirmed in the XRD pattern analysis and increasing peak intensity of $Li_2MnO_3$ was observed along with the addition of over 0.2 mol Li. The initial discharge capacity of the stoichiometric composition was determined to be 246 mAh/g, while the discharge capacity of the addition of 0.1 mol Li was obtained to be 241 mAh/g, which was not significantly different from that of the stoichiometric composition. However, the discharge capacities decreased dramatically after the addition of 0.2 and 0.3 mol Li to 162 mAh/g and 146 mAh/g, respectively. In the rate capability test, the active $Li_{1+x}[Mn_{0.720}Ni_{0.175}Co_{0.105}]O_2$ cathode material of the stoichiometric composition showed a dramatic decrease in its discharge capacity with increasing C-rate, as evidenced by the result that the discharge capacity at 5C was 13% compared with 0.1C. On the other hand, the discharge capacity of compositions containing excess lithium was improved at higher current rates. The cycling test showed that the composition containing an excess of 0.1 mol Li had the most outstanding capacity retention.

퇴원을 앞둔 노인 환자의 사회적 지지와 질병지각이 우울에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Social Support and Illness Perception on Depression among Hospitalized Older Adults Prior to Discharge from an Acute Care Hospital)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to identify factors affecting depression among hospitalized older adults prior to discharge from an acute care hospital. Methods: This descriptive study included adults aged 65 or older who were hospitalized in a general hospital in Seoul, Korea. Depression was measured by the Short Form Geriatric Depression Scale and illness perception was evaluated by the Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire. Social support was examined using the Perceived Geriatric Social Support Scale. Data were collected from August 25 to October 12, 2015. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, independent t-test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: Among a total of 120 participants, 57 patients (47.5%) experienced depression. Mean depression score was $7.37{\pm}3.67$. Depression was associated with illness perception (r=.53, p<.001), social support (r=-.19, p=.043), number of admission due to the recurrence (r=.31, p=.001), and time to recognize discharge plan (r=.25, p=.044). In hierarchical multiple regression, illness perception (${\beta}=.45$, p<.001) and time to recognize discharge plan (${\beta}=.21$, p=.039) were predictors of depression (F=7.68, p<.001, Adjusted $R^2=.38$). Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that management of illness perception and timely notice of discharge are important to reduce depression in hospitalized elderly patients.

호흡곤란 환자에 대한 혈액검사 결과들의 수량화 연구 (A quantification study of blood test results for dyspnea patients)

  • Park 등 (2010)은 호흡곤란을 주호소로 내원한 668명의 환자를 대상으로 11개 혈액검사 결과 중 퇴원구간에 속한 결과의 개수를 가지고 입퇴원 결정을 위한 간편한 통계모형을 제안하였다. 그런데 11개 혈액검사의 결과에 대한 중요성을 고려하지 않아 모형의 성능이 떨어질 수 있다는 문제점이 있었다. 이 연구에서는 수량화 방법에 의해 11개 혈액검사 결과의 중요성을 평가해보고, 이 중요성을 고려한 통계모형을 도출하였다. 그 결과 중요성을 고려한 새로운 모형이 중요성을 고려하지 않은 기존 모형보다 다소 성능이 향상된 것을 발견할 수 있었다.

  • should be in English, A make out an economical, reliable and easy to adoptable instrument in turbine discharge measurement was restricted from lots of it's foundational condition. Not with standing the brilliant progress in new technology of these day, useful instrument for flow measurement in turbine is still ongoing. Nowaday, the increasing importance of renewable energy makes it more important that the measuring turbine efficiency as a decision making index of old turbines' replacement. In Turbine performance diagnosis, Kwater(Korea Water Corporation) got an enough ability and decent reputation for who has invested lots of time and effort for buildup and development. In Korea as a public corporation who should take a crucial roll in Turbine business, Kwater has introduced some developed new technology for other domestic concerned one. With this writing, I'd like to introduce ASFM system as a newly developed instrument that can cope with lots restriction in discharge measurement in turbine. Kwater adopted the system in 2005, and performed 2 times of trial test. The test result was good enough to use the system as a reference test method.
