  • Most of electrical installation and construction specifications consist of many letters as non-visual format. Therefore writing specification for installation and construction is so difficult to make easier to user. And it could not be an effective work to make a specification and make an accident or disabled facilities and equipments. Hence we need to develop the program that makes a specification of electrical installation and construction due to need a safety and coherence.

  • This study analyzed the hazard of unemployment and the influencing factors on the rate. Data came from the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled(PSED), 2010-2012, which is a longitudinal survey for 5,092 disabled people in Korea. For the main purpose of this study, the life-table method was used for describing the patterns of unemployment duration by disabled, and the cox proportional hazard model was used to identify significant factors on the unemployment duration. The results were as follows. First, according to the life table analysis, the unemployment rate to remain until the longest period of unemployment(25month) is 90.5%, and the rate of entry into the labor market was only 9.5%. Overall, the unemployment maintenance rate was high, the unemployment escape rate decreased after 12month. Second, looking at the results from the cox proportional hazards model, the unemployment escape possibility were increased for those who are male, are non-public benefit recipient with disability, have mild disability, and have less discrimination experiences. With these results, disability discrimination act which can reduce the disability discrimination in employment site should be strengthened. Also, the scheme of Nation Basic Protection Program should be modified to attract the employment of recipients with disability. Finally, policy targets having employment escape difficulty, such as women with disability, people with severe disabilities should be departmentalized. And employment service is provided in accord with the individual needs and characteristics.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the satisfaction with medical services of the disabled elderly who have the highest need for medical services. For this purpose, the effect of health characteristics and medical service characteristics of the disabled elderly on medical service satisfaction was verified. The subjects of analysis were 3,323 persons with disabilities aged 65 or older who were taken from the national survey of people with disabilities in 2017. For statistical analysis, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 26.0 program. The results of the study showed as follows. As a result of the regression analysis, gender (β= -.045, p<.05) and residence status (β= -.048, p<.05) among the demographic characteristics as control variables had a statistically significant effect on the level of medical service satisfaction. Among the health characteristics, IADL (β=-.044, p<.05) had a statistically significant effect on medical service satisfaction level. In the case of medical service characteristics, satisfaction with medical facilities and equipment (β = .290, p< .001), medical staff's level of understanding of disability (β = .404, p< .001), health-related service use (β = .182, p<.05) had a statistically significant effect on the level of medical service satisfaction. Based on the results, practical alternatives to ensure health equity in the community medical system were suggested in the discussion to enhance the health management and self-determination capabilities of the disabled elderly.

Health care utilization .ate was 81.9%(69.1% for hospital or clinic and 12.8% for pharmacy). Marital status, job, health concern, and response to illness showed statistically significant relationship with health care utilization(p<0.05). By path analysis, job, economic status, medical security type and response to illness had a significant direct effect on health care utilization(p<0.05), however, health concern and regular source of care had an indirect effect. The reasons of no health utilization were due to economic problem(31.1%), no symptom(18.0%), inconvenience to seek care or no accompanying persons to be helped(14.8%), unseriousness of the severity of the illness(14.8%), too busy to be treated or no free time(8.2%), hopeless prognosis to be treated(6.6%) in order. In conclusion, it is recommended that the program for expanding medicaid, improving socioeconomic status by getting a job and health education to increase the health concern toward physically disabled should be implemented to increase health care utilization rate.

  • In the West, the model for provision of services to the disabled has shifted from a focus on the individual to that of a social model. This shift reflects a movement away from a materialist approach to one that is grounded in idealism. In the context of themultiple service paradigm movement this paper explores trends in the provision of social services to the disabled in Korea. In order to accomplish this task the writer conducted an analysis of Korean Community Chest proposals, existing legislation and legislative systems as well as the disability movement in Korea. Data was collected from the 2003 program proposals submitted to the Korea Community Chest. This data was classified using Priestly's Multiple Service Paradigm of Disability. The results suggest that the Korean Community Chest favored an individual idealist approach. There was only limited support given to proposals that reflect the social model approach and thus issues of accessibility, independent living and inclusion are given short shrift. This paper argues the need for a reversal of this trend through the Korean Community Chest supporting issues mentioned above and that the social model should be given greater attention by this funding body. Implications for practice using the multiple paradigm model are discussed.

  • A study of the factors influencing the quality of life and social support of people suffering with mental disabilities, who use mental health centers. The purpose of the study includes the general characteristics of subjects, characteristics of the mental health center, the mean score of social support and quality of life of people living with mental disabilities. The 132 questionnaires were administered by meeting directly with subjects and personal visits. 112 Questionnaires were returned(85% response rate). Data was collected from mentally disabled patients in Chungnam Mental Health Center. difference in quality of life by using t-test, one way ANOVA table, the relationship between social support, quality of life by pearson correlation coefficients, and relevant factors affecting quality of life by multiple regression with the SPSS 19.0 program. This study revealed that the group that participated regularly in the day time rehabilitation program showed better social support and positive attitude to a better quality of life than the other group that participated irregularly. This result is directly proportional to the participation frequency to the program during the recent 3-month duration. Another correlation with religion was found in the study due to the fact that a buddhist group showed positive significance in quality of life than non-religious groups. The results show positive correlation between the improvement of the quality of life of patients living with mental disabilities and the social support they receive.

A survey was conducted for entrepreneurs in agro-healing farmers with self-administered questionnaires. Main results of this study were as follows: First, business motivation of agro-healing farm s in Korea can be classified to 1) education-oriented, 2) care-oriented, and 3) sale revenue-oriented motivation. Second, care-oriented farms provide healing services to people in need like the disabled. These farms may be required a long-term program such as residence-required format. And these farms need supports of health and medical service personnel or institutions. Third, sale revenue-oriented farms have sources of main income from agricultural products or processed goods made in these farms. Therefore, these farms may be required a business strategy such as product development, marketing rather than agro-healing programs. fourth, the estimation of a Multinominal logistic regression model determines the characteristics of agro-healing entrepreneurs who are most likely to opt for each type motivation of participating for agro-healing farm business. the most important determinants on business motivation of agro-healing farms were 'participants type in programs', 'program operating time', 'supporting health and medical service personnel or institutions' and 'program revenue ratio in farm operating revenue'.
