Effect of 2,4-D on embryo formation and its morphology in anther culture of herbaceous peony (Paeonia lactiflora Pall.)

  • The pathway of embryos formed anther culture in herbaceous peony was influenced by addition of 2,4-D. MS medium with 2,4-Dichlorophenoxy acetic acid (2,4-D) alone did not arise direct embryogenesis, but was proliferate callus. Embryos through calli were produced on medium containing 0.2 mg/1 zeatin or without growth regulators. Direct embryogenesis was obtained from MS basal medium. However, after the anthers were cultured on medium with 0.1 mg/1 2,4-D, 3 g/1 AC, 30 g/1 sucrose, 2 g/1 gelrite for 40 days. Its efficiency (32.3 %) was markedly improved when anthers cultured on medium without 2,4-D. Embryo morphology was also affected by the 2,4-D used in medium. The induction of normal embryos with two cotyledons was higher in the embryos formed through direct embryogenesis than those formed callus. The embryos formed from calli were mainly showed abnormal embryo with one, three, four cotyledons or hors and bowling pin type.

  • 3D stabilizing system구현 전 단계로서, 본 논문에서는 vehicle의 운동 중에도 지정된 방향을 유지하는 2D stabilizing system을 제작하였다. 본 system을 controller로서 DSP TMS320F240을, rate gyroscope로서 vibratory rate gyro(Tokimec co. TFG -l60D), direct drive driver/motor로서 SD1015B52-1·SD1004C04-l/DM1015B·DM1004C, control algorithm로서 PI control을 이용 system을 구현하여 rate gyro를 이용, 발생 error를 보상하도록 하여 비교적 나은 안정화 결과를 얻었다.

240 GHz, 1.485 Gbps 비디오신호 무선 전송 시스템 (A 1.485 Gbps Wireless Video Signal Transmission System at 240 GHz)

  • 240 GHz 대역의 캐리어 주파수를 이용하여 1.485 Gbps 비디오 전송 시스템을 설계 및 시뮬레이션 하였다. 송수신기는 Schottky Barrier 다이오드 기반의 Sub-harmonic 믹서를 이용하였으며 특히, 수신기는 Heterodyne 및 Direct Detection 두 가지 방식을 적용하여 각각의 성능을 시뮬레이션 하였다. 변조방식은 ASK이며, 수신기에서는 Envelop 검출 방식을 사용하였다. 송신기 시뮬레이션 결과 Sub-harmonic 믹서의 LO 전력 7 dBm(5 mW)에서 IF 입력 전력 -3 dBm(0.5 mW)일 때 RF 출력 전력은 -11.4 dBm($73{\mu}W$)이었으며, SSB(Single Side Band) Conversion Loss는 8.4 dB이다. VDI사의 상용모델 WR3.4SHM(220~325 GHz)의 240 GHz에서의 Conversion loss 8.0 dB(SSB)와 근접한 결과를 얻었다. 1.485 Gbps NRZ 신호전송 시뮬레이션 결과 전송신호와 동일한 수신 파형을 얻었다.

  • The photochemistry of 1-Methyl-2-cyclohexenyl aryl ketones (phenyl ketone 7a, p-toluyl ketone 7b, biphenyl ketone 7c and -naphthyl ketone 7d) is reported. The aryl ketone 7a, 7b and 7c undergo photo-racemization with efficiencies of 0.75, 0.79 and 0.76 respectively on direct irradiation. Direct irradiation of the ketone 7d, however, undergoes 1,3-shift with an efficiency of 0.02. Triplet states are responsible for the racemizations and singlet state is responsible for 1,3-shift as in general. The ketone 7a, 7b and 7c are good example of a few ${\beta},{\gamma}$-unsaturated ketones which undergo efficient intersystem crossing on direct irradiation.

  • 임베디드 시스템과 같은 제한된 하드웨어에서 3차원 그래픽 기반의 응용 프로그램을 구동하는 것은 쉽지 않다. 그러한 시스템은 그래픽 가속 모듈을 구동하여 다양한 그래픽 기능을 처리할 수 있는 체계적인 3차원 그래픽 처리 구조가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템을 위한 공개 소스 그래픽 윈도우 환경인 Tiny X 체계에서 3차원 그래픽 가속 장치 구동기를 구현하는 방법을 상세히 제시한다. 제안한 방법은 가속장치 구동기를 단계적으로 초기화하여 직접 렌더링 구조가 이를 적절하게 활용할 수 있도록 한다. 아울러, 3차원 그래픽 처리 성능을 효율적으로 평가할 수 있는 간단한 프로그램을 통하여 구현된 가속 장치 구동기에 대하여 적용하여 그 유용성을 확인하였다.

가상아바타에 따른 가상의복의 비교평가 (Comparative Assessment of Virtual Garments using Direct and Manual Avatars)

  • The purpose of this paper is to compare two avatars made using direct and manual methods and to evaluate the fit and appearance of two virtual garments on the direct and manual avatars. In this study, two subjects were measured by $[TC]^2$ body scanner and the avatars and virtual garments were created by OptiTex software. The direct avatar was made by the direct importation of 3D body scan data and the manual avatar was made by manual input from extracted body measurement. Two virtual garments in a tank-top were evaluated by distance, transparency, and stretch maps. In the results of comparing difference of the direct and manual avatars, the bust and back of the manual avatar are protruded slightly more than that of the direct avatar and the manual avatar is slightly larger dimensions at the bust, waist, abdomen, and hip area in the side view in case of subject 1 and 2. In the results of comparing difference of the fit and appearance of two virtual garments on the direct and manual avatars, in case of subject 1 and 2, the back of the virtual garment on the manual avatar are protruded more than that of the direct avatar. Also, the ease in the bust area of the virtual garment on the manual avatar with a projected bust area was smaller than that of the virtual garment on the direct avatar and the stretch of that of the manual avatar was also high in the bust area. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic information in the apparel industry using virtual try-on technology.

안면부 골절 수술 전후 다중검출기 전산화 단층촬영의 효용성 비교 (Comparison of the Usefulness of MDCT (Multidetective Computed Tomogram) in Facial Bone Fractures)

  • Purpose: In maxillofacial surgery, proper preoperative diagnosis is very important in achieving good postoperative results. Although conventional CT scans are useful for visual representations of fractures, they cannot provide direct guidance for reconstructing facial bone fractures. However, the recent technology of multislice scanning has brought many clinical benefits to CT images. Direct correlations can be made between preoperative imaging data and operative planning. The aim of the current study is to evaluate the differences between conventional CT and multidetective three-dimensional CT(3D MDCT) measurements in craniofacial deformities. Methods: From January 2005 to November 2005, MDCT scans of 41 patients were evaluated by comparing them with conventional CT scans. The 3D MDCT images were assessed and reviewed by using a simple scoring system. Results: The 3D MDCT scans offered easy interpretation, facilitated surgical planning, and clarified postoperative results in malar complex fractures, mandibular fractures, and extensive maxillofacial fractures and cranioplasty. However, 3D MDCT images were not superior to conventional CT scans in the diagnosis of blowout fractures. Conclusion: In spite of its limitations, the 3D MDCT provided additional and more comprehensive information than the conventional CT for preoperative assessment of craniofacial deformities. Therefore, the 3D MDCT can be a useful tool for diagnosis and systematic treatment planning in craniofacial skeletal deformities.

Linear accuracy of cone-beam computed tomography and a 3-dimensional facial scanning system: An anthropomorphic phantom study

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to evaluate the accuracy of linear measurements of 3-dimensional (3D) images generated by cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) and facial scanning systems, and to assess the effect of scanning parameters, such as CBCT exposure settings, on image quality. Materials and Methods: CBCT and facial scanning images of an anthropomorphic phantom showing 13 soft-tissue anatomical landmarks were used in the study. The distances between the anatomical landmarks on the phantom were measured to obtain a reference for evaluating the accuracy of the 3D facial soft-tissue images. The distances between the 3D image landmarks were measured using a 3D distance measurement tool. The effect of scanning parameters on CBCT image quality was evaluated by visually comparing images acquired under different exposure conditions, but at a constant threshold. Results: Comparison of the repeated direct phantom and image-based measurements revealed good reproducibility. There were no significant differences between the direct phantom and image-based measurements of the CBCT surface volume-rendered images. Five of the 15 measurements of the 3D facial scans were found to be significantly different from their corresponding direct phantom measurements(P<.05). The quality of the CBCT surface volume-rendered images acquired at a constant threshold varied across different exposure conditions. Conclusion: These results proved that existing 3D imaging techniques were satisfactorily accurate for clinical applications, and that optimizing the variables that affected image quality, such as the exposure parameters, was critical for image acquisition.

  • 본 논문은 캘리브레이션 정보를 모르는 카메라로부터 얻은 시퀀스 영상에서 공간상에서 평면인 물체의영상 정보를 이용하여 카메라 내부 및 외부 파라미터를 추정하고, 이를 이용하여 가상의 3D 그래픽을 시퀀스 영상에 정합하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 기존의 방법에 비해 손쉽게 이미지에 가상의 3D 그래픽 오브젝트를 정합할 수 있으며, 눈에 보이는 정합오차를 최소화하며 DirectX와 같은 3D 그래픽 툴과 쉽게 연동이 되는 장정이 있다. 본 연구는 비디오와 같은 영상에 3D 영상을 합성하는 대화형 비디오 컨텐트 개발에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
