The High Voltage Research of X-ray Detector Based on Amorphous Selenium (a-Se 기반의 X선 검출기에서의 고전장 간섭 연구)

  • Present. direct method x-ray conversion detector is studied by abroad medical instrument and country with amorphous Selenium. And we search the method for large area x-ray detector. Amorphous-Selenium based photoreceptor is widely used on the X-ray conversion materials. But amorphous-selenium based x-ray conversion detector is broken by high voltage and leakage defect point. In this paper, We investigated top-electrode distance rate to improve defect point and high voltage broken. The result to appoint to made large area x-ray conversion detector with base data.

  • Designers are frequently faced with multiple quality issues in injection molded parts. These issues are usually In conflict with each other, and thus tradeoff needs to be made to reach a final compromised solutions. The objective of this study is to develop an automated injection molding design methodology, whereby part defects such as warpage and weld line are optimized. The features of the proposed methodology are as follows: first, Utility Function approach is applied to transform the original multiple objective problem into single objective problem. Second is an implementation of a direct search-based Injection molding optimization procedure with automated consideration of process variation. The Space Reduction Method based on Taguchi's DOE(Design Of Experiment) is used as a general optimization tool in this study. The computational experimental verification of the methodology was partially carried out for a can model of Cavallero Plastics Incorporation, U. S. A. Applied to production, this study will be of immense value to companies in reducing the product development time and enhancing the product quality.

  • In spite of the widespread use of stiffend plates in ship structures, it is very difficult to analysis these directly. So, in conventional analysis of plate structures, above structures are used to be idealized as orthotropic plate or grillage structures. Lately, the development of large computers, it is able to apply the optimum techniques to structural design. In this paper, the double bottom structure of Bulk Carrier was idealized into flat grillage which is composed of intersecting beam stiffencers primarily loaded mormal to its surface. And strength analysis was carried out by using the finite element method based on displacement. And further, according to variation of floor space and double tobbon heightm, the optimum design was carrid out by using Hooke and Jeeves direct search method.

  • This paper presents a time efficient method for determining a sequence of locations of a mobile manipulator that facilitates tracking of continuous path in cluttered environment. Given the task trajectory in the form of octree data structure, the algorithm performs characterization of task space and subsequent multistage optimization process to determine task feasible locations of the robot. Firstly, the collision free portion of the trajectory is determined and classified according to uniqueness domains of the inverse kinematics solutions. Then by implementing the extent of task feasible subspace into an optimization criteria, a multistage optimization problem is formulated to determines the task feasible locations of the mobile manipulator. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown through a simulation study performed for a 3-d.o.f. manipulator with generic kinematic structure.

  • An automatic design method of steel frames using nonlinear analysis is developed. The geometric nonlinearity is considered by the use of stability functions. A direct search method is used as an automatic design technique. The unit value of each member is evaluated by using LRFD Interaction equation. The member with the largest unit value Is replaced one by one with an adjacent larger member selected in the database. The weight of the steel frame is taken as an objective function. Load-carrying capacities, deflections, interstory drifts, and ductility requirement are used as constraint functions. Case study of a three-dimensional two story frame are presented.

  • Nonlinear vibrations of an Euler-Bernoulli beam resting on a nonlinear elastic foundation are discussed. In search of approximate analytical solutions, the classical multiple scales (MS) and the multiple scales Lindstedt Poincare (MSLP) methods are used. The case of primary resonance is investigated. Amplitude and phase modulation equations are obtained. Steady state solutions are considered. Frequency response curves obtained by both methods are contrasted with each other with respect to the effect of various physical parameters. For weakly nonlinear systems, MS and MSLP solutions are in good agreement. For strong hardening nonlinearities, MSLP solutions exhibit the usual jump phenomena whereas MS solutions are not reliable producing backward curves which are unphysical.

  • This paper is concerned with an optimum design study of containerships in preliminary stage by applying economic criteria. The Net Present Value Index (NPVI) and the Required Freight Rate(RFR) are used as measures of merit. Hooke & Jeeves direct search method and External Penalty Function method of Sequential Unconstrained Minimization Techniques(SUMT) are used for solving constrained nonlinear optimization problem. Sensitivity analysis is carried out to investigate the effect on the optimum solution due to change of values in some parameters such as crane capacity, load factor, oil price, ship speed and the ratio between loaded FEU and TEU.

  • Derailment is likely to have a direct connection with human life and must be eliminated. A traveling safety evaluation method based mainly on derailment coefficient has already established. But this method is very difficult because Derailment is caused by multiple factors. To evaluate the derailment factor of running train that runs on the curved track, we make use of mechanism that wheel loads and lateral forces were affected by track and rolling stock parameter. In this paper, deal with a search on the parameter and derailment factor. According to results of computer simulation value of Q/P, running safety is connected with operation velocity, curve radius, cant, track irregularity, suspension stiffness and static wheel load ratio, etc.

  • Objectives : To review the method, validity and reliability of Impedance Cardiography and to study its oriental medical application. Method : The papers reviewed in this study were searched through internet search engines such as Springer, Science Direct, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure. Conclusion : In this study, the methodological limitations, validity and reliability of impedance cardiography were examined. Impedance Cardiography is recognized as a highly accurate non-invasive tool to assess hemodynamic parameters. The ability of impedance cardiography to assess hemodynamic parameters in non-invasive way is very suitable for researches on the effect of oriental medical therapeutics or the validation of oriental medical diagnostic.

  • The teaching-learning methods of figures using computers make loose the difficulties of geometry education from the viewpoint that the abstract figures can be visualized and that by means of this visualization the learning can be accomplished through the direct experience or control. In this thesis, we present a teaching-learning method of figures using Cabri II so that the learners establish their knowledge obtained through their search, investigation, supposition and they accomplish the positive transition to advanced 1earning. So the learners extend their ability of sensuous intuition to their ability of logical reasoning through their logical intuition.
