  • Study of human-robot Interaction gets more and more attention to expand the robot application for tasks difficult by robot alone. Developed countries are preparing for a new market by introducing the concept of 'Co-Robot' model of human-robot Interaction. Our research of direct teaching is a way to instruct robot's trajectory by human's handling of its end device. This method is more intuitive than other existing methods. The benefit of this approach includes easy and fast teaching even by non-professional workers. And it can enhance utilization of robots in small and medium-sized enterprises for small quantity batch production. In this study, we developed the algorithms for creating accurate trajectory from repeated inaccurate direct teaching and GUI for the direct teaching. We also propose the basic framework for direct teaching.

  • This paper aim to grasp the order region distribution of the goods, which are the sobaeksan ganodenma lucldum on the mail-order through post office and the poum jujube on the mail-order through agncultural Co- operalive and the regional connection made by distributing the goods between production region and sale region The amount of sales for sobaeksan ganodenma lucidum, with little regional difference in the producing volume, is not affected by the basic fare of a long-distance call in the spaual sale. It also shows that the amounl of poun jujude with regional difference of production volume is restricted by distance.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between work-family conflict and job-life satisfaction of married female workers. Two data sets were used in this study. Both data sets were gathered from structured questionnaires and time dairies. The first data set was collected from 370 married female production workers in 1995 and the second set was collected from 143 married female clerical workers in 1996. Job and life satisfaction were measured on 5-point Likert scale where 5= very unsatisfied and 5= very satisfied. The overact means for both groups were 2.97, 3.09 for job and life satisfaction respectively The findings of this study are; 1) Clerical workers have significantely higher job and life satisfaction than production workers. 2) Multivariate analysis reveal that work-family conflict is negatively related to job satisfaction while income is positively related to job satisfaction. 3) In the path analysis model, work-family conflict has a negative direct effect and indirect negative effect mediated through job satisfaction on life satisfaction. Job satisfaction and husband's division of housework have a positive direct effect on life satisfaction. However, total labor time has a negative indirect effect mediated through work-family conflict on life satisfaction and income huts a positive indirect effect mediated through job satisfaction on life satisfaction.

  • The object of this study is to analyze marketing situations and to suggest developing issues for organic farming. Organic agricultural products (OAP) has been steadily grown by an annual 36.4 percent over the past ten years, and production of OAP took up 4.5 percent of the Environmentally friendly agricultural products (EFAP) in 2009. 9,403 farmers, cultivated area 13,343ha and production 108,810 M/T in Organic agriculture are respectively formed 0.8 percent, 0.8 percent and 0.6 percent of Korea agriculture in 2009. And production of livestock products to have been certificated from the year 2005 was over 10,000M/T in 2008. OAP is mainly distributed by direct marketing system. The market size of OAP is 188.5 billion in 2008 and has been grown by an annual 30.1 percent. The price difference between OAP and general agricultural products is about 65.8 percent. Several issues on the marketing system of OAP are as follows : overcost of OAP marketing socially, imbalance of supply and demand, absence of standard price, institutional insufficiency to marketing within wholesale market, retail price inflexibility of consumer's cooperative, and so on.

  • This study introduced the inclusion of Global Value Chain (GVC) as a strategy for the globalization of domestic industries. In addition, this study intended to highlight direct foreign investment as an important opportunity for enhancing the competitiveness of the domestic small and medium firms. That is, globalization could be realized not only through simple capital inflow, but also through domestic industry's participation in the overseas production network. The analysis of the trend and pattern of direct foreign investment revealed that the FDI inflows heavily dependent on the USA and Japan have been diversified steadily over time. In spite of recent decline trend of overall FDI amount, inflows from European countries in machinery and chemical industries have been rising. These rising and diversifying trends in these industries are promising since FDI inflows have the potential of playing an important role in achieving productivity growth of domestic industries, particularly in the area of comparatively fragile industries such as machinery and chemicals. In the same logic, it is crucial for future growth of Korea that the small and medium firms find their competitive edges through strengthening production networks with foreign multi-national companies. Thus, it is suggested that the policy of globalization of small and medium firms should be based on the firm understanding of GVC and FDI pattern of industries.

  • Because of its unique properties, tungsten is a strategic and rare metal used in various industrial applications. However, the world's annual production of tungsten is only 84000 t. Ammonium paratungstate (APT), which is used as the main intermediate in industrial tungsten production, is usually obtained from tungsten concentrates of wolframite and scheelite by hydrometallurgical treatment. Intermediates such as tungsten trioxide, tungsten blue oxide, tungstic acid, and ammonium metatungstate can be derived from APT by thermal decomposition or chemical attack. Tungsten metal powder is produced through the hydrogen reduction of high-purity tungsten oxides, and tungsten carbide powder is produced by the reaction of tungsten powder and carbon black powder at 1300-1700℃ in a hydrogen atmosphere. Tungsten scrap can be divided into hard and soft scrap based on shape (bulk or powder). It can also be divided into new scrap generated during the production of tungsten-bearing goods and old scrap collected at the end of life. Recycling technologies for tungsten can be divided into four main groups: direct, chemical, and semi-direct recycling, and melting metallurgy. In this review, the current status of tungsten smelting and recycling technologies is discussed.

  • This research studies the factors which influence the tensile strength of tire cords. Five yam samples are made by changing the spinning conditions and viscosity to get various physical properties. Different twisting methods are introduced and the yams are twisted under different processing conditions for each twisting process. With the experimental results, various analyses are performed to find the important factors in retaining strength after the twisting process. SEM and optical microscopic photographs are taken along with some measurements to assist the analysis.
