  • A novel dual-frequency microstrip printed-dipole antenna operating at 5 GHz and 10 GHz is presented. This antenna is designed for wireless and mobile communication. The balance step coplanar strip is used to be a transmission line at the center of dipole with matching impedance at 50 ohm. Using the conductor strip align on the other side of antenna and adjust the width of step coplanar strip line to improved input impedance matching. By modification for matching impedance of dual frequency antenna are not affected to the radiation patterns. The Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) technique is applying to analyze the basic characteristic properties such as $S_{11}$ , input impedance , VSWR and radiation patterns. And these parameters are discussed. The analyze problem space are $51{\times}197{\times}175$ cells and cell dimension are ${\Delta}x=0.3\;mm$ and ${\Delta}y={\Delta}z=0.15\;mm$.

  • It has applied the design method of face to face dimension, an MC (Modular Coordination) design method, at design steps of an apartment house for standardization of architecture. But It has been still using center line size. A construction limit isn't specific on these center line size, and dead space occurs with excessive gaps as size matching isn't performed well between structural sieve and parts. And above all, measurement before construction isn't to expect standardization, and to increase custom-made furniture. We investigate manufacture of a preferential domestic system kitchen and construction state, and we derive from a problem in viewpoints of standardization for this. And we utilized a reference plane, and we present construction document and design plan in order to solve these problems. And we analyze an effect got by application of the assembly basis aspect that we presented, and we can raise efficiency of standardization of housing and construction industry, and we light ultimately up.

  • Let X be a complex manifold of dimension n $n{\geqslant}2$ and let ${\Omega}{\Subset}X$ be a weakly q-convex domain with smooth boundary. Assume that E is a holomorphic line bundle over X and $E^{{\otimes}m}$ is the m-times tensor product of E for positive integer m. If there exists a strongly plurisubharmonic function on a neighborhood of $b{\Omega}$, then we solve the ${\bar{\partial}}$-problem with support condition in ${\Omega}$ for forms of type (r, s), $s{\geqslant}q$ with values in $E^{{\otimes}m}$. Moreover, the solvability of the ${\bar{\partial}}_b$-problem on boundaries of weakly q-convex domains with smooth boundary in $K{\ddot{a}}hler$ manifolds are given. Furthermore, we shall establish an extension theorem for the ${\bar{\partial}}_b$-closed forms.

  • In this study, by using finite element non-linear static analysis and comparing it with experimental models, the buckling and post-buckling behavior of bracing gusset plates has been investigated. The effects of such parameters as dimension and thickness of the gusset plate and the influence of position of the bracing member on the behavior of gusset plate have been examined. The results of the analyses clearly suggest that capacity, buckling and post-buckling behaviors of gusset plates depend on the position of the bracing splice plate with respect to the free bending line as well as on the size and thickness of the gusset plate. Also, with respect to numerical analysis results, some practical graphs for the calculation of buckling capacity of gusset plate connections are presented. For steel structures, the proposed method is apparently more accurate than available code procedures.

  • This paper presents a system which recognizes dynamic hand gestures for virtual reality(VR). A dynamic hand gesture is a method of communication for a computer and human who uses gestures, especially both hands and fingers. Since the human hands and fingers are not the same in physical dimension, the same form of a gestrue produced by two persons with their hands may not have the same numerical values which are obtained through electronic sensors. In this paper, we apply a fuzzy min-max neural network and feature analysis method using fuzzy logic for on-line pattern recognition.

  • After the outbreak of the Korean War on June 25, 1950, the US included the Republic of China on Taiwan (Taiwan hereafter) in its Asia-Pacific containment line, and restored the military and economic aid to Taiwan for the sake of regional security. The US aid to the countries along the Asia-Pacific defense line was not only in the form of supplying munitions, but also linked these countries together in an economic dimension. Taiwan is one of the 120 countries which had accepted US aid and also successfully moved from "dependence" to "independently sustained growth." This article will firstly review the historical background of US aid to Taiwan and related institutional development; secondly, this article will illustrate how Taiwan used US aid, and which economic sector the US aid affected; thirdly, it will trace the impact of US aid on Taiwan's foreign trade, and finally, to make a conclusion.

  • Two-Dimensional modelling of the Cochlear biomechanics is presented in this paper. The Laplace partial differential equation which represents the fluld mechanics of the Cochlea has been transformed into two-dimensional electrical transmission line. The procedure of this transformation is explained in detail. The comparison between one and two dimensional models is also presented. This electrical modelling of the basilar membrane (BM) is clearly useful for the next approach to the further development of active elements which are essenclal in the producing of the sharp tuning of the BM. This paper shows that two-dimension model is qualitatively better than one-dimensional model both in amplitude and phase responses of the BM displacement. The present model is only for frequency response. However because the model is electrical, the two-dimensional transmission line model can be extended to time response without any difficult.

  • In micro-stereolithography technology, fabrication conditions that include laser power, laser scan speed, laser scan pitch, and material property of photopolymer such as penetration depth and critical exposure are considered as major process variables. But the existing scan path generation methods based only on CAD model have not taken them into account, which has resulted in cross-section dimension of low accuracy. Thus, to enhance cross-section dimensional accuracy, the physical resin solidification n phenomena should be reflected in laser scan path generation and stage operating code. In this paper, multi-line experiments based on single line solidification model are performed. And the method for improving cross-section dimensional accuracy is presented, which is to apply the database based on experimental results to laser scan path generation.

  • This study is to investigate the Function of sleeve for the construction of cuffs. Three measuremental items of sleeve cap high, length of sleeve and puff quantity of upper sleeve cap are compared between when the experimental man raises righthand static pose. The wearing test is done in sewing cuffs of either fixing up cuffs or not-fixing up cuffs, and in no cuffs. Three measuremental items are pulled length from sleeve end, pulled length from side waist line, and pulled dimensions from waist line. 1. The result according to the length and dimensions variation caused by a change of sleeve cap high. 2. The results according to the length and dimensions variation caused by a sort of sleeve length. 3. The results according to the length and dimension variation caused by the puff quantity of sleeve cap.
