The purpose of this study is to propose a model for building a road map which could be used for digitalizing library information resources. For this purpose, 941 libraries were surveyed via mail and e-mail. The survey dealt with four strategic areas: production and circulation, construction and management, the sharing and preservation, and application of library resources. It's expected that the model proposed in this study could be applied to develop a plan and road map for digitalizing library information resources.

As entering the information age of the 21st century, Korea is actively processing many digitalizing businesses related to information source of the Korean academic science at the government level based on the Korean advanced digital technologies, which makes them more evolved through the internet networks in Korea. The definition of 'Newly found ideographs(新出漢字)' are made by researching and extracting from the old Chinese documents through the digitalizing process and they are not registered yet among the block of Unicode & extended Chinese characters those are existent international standard. Presently Korea is in the middle of brisk developing computerized old documents in the huge scale. Meanwhile, the international standard of Chinese characters in mostly Asian countries where using them is processing and developing by IRG. Therefore, Korean processing works is very important which are included extracting precisely 'Newly found ideographs' founded from building its database, organizing as an international standard code, submitting the International organization and finally registering as the best standard code.

This study is on the reading method of Korean old poetry in the digital age. Now days, we are living in digital media. The method of getting, organizing, and producing information is changed a lot. So for keeping pace with this change, we should reflect our teaching method. Of course, the purpose of our reflection is not to follow digital media's method and change or alter existing reading or teaching method, but it is to identify proper own reading strategy of old poetry and adjust existing method for our student who are skilled with digital media. We propose three kinds of method for student readers in school. These are 1) starting like a newspaper reader, 2) getting context (reading, making hyperlink), and 3) figuring as an architect (reading as space or scenery creator). In addition, we think about recent tendency that Korean old poetry is de-constructed and re-constructed as digital contents in digital space. We call it digitalizing of old poetry. The experiencing old poetry as a digital contents is different from reading old poetry, so we cannot alter old poetry reading experience into experience of digital contents. In conclusion, digitalizing contents should be used restrictively to fertilize reading experience of original old poetry.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the digitalizing model of Belonging relationship information. for this study, the psychological demands of people are analysed based on the premise that the formation of various space is made by mental needs rather than functional needs. The Digitalized Belonging relationship information model consisted of such structuring factors, the visual relationship information, the accessible relationship information and the opening ratios of spaces As a result, the suggested digitalizing model will be considered as an efficient tool for the objective analysis of Belonging relationship between space. In addition, the model will contribute to the expansion of terminology in the field of digital space design

The rapid progress of information technology makes the 3rd digital revolution after the 1st agricultural and the 2nd industrial revolution in the human history. The 1st agricultural-oriented society was based on the land and the labor, the 2nd industrial-oriented society was based on the capital and the technology 3rd knowledge-information-oriented society is where to make profit from creative brainworks and ideas based on human beings. The core of the knowledge-information-oriented society is the digital revolution from digitalizing information such as increase of the various digital contents in geometrical progression through internet.

본 논문에서는 필기 한자로 쓰여진 고문서를 보다 효율적으로 디지털 라이브러리화하기 위한 입력 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 입력 방법은, 문자 인식 방법과 수작업을 병행하는 방법으로서, 인식 및 기각 방법을 사용하여 유사한 글자들을 자동 군집화한 후, 수작업으로 교정 및 검증을 거쳐 최종 입력하는 방식이다. 한국학 고문서인 승정원일기를 대상으로 한 실험에서, 제안한 방법이 높은 정확률과 낮은 기각 비율을 보임으로써, 기존의 수작업 입력 방법을 대체할 경우 상당한 시간 및 노동력의 절감을 가져올 것으로 기대한다.

Photographic records are very useful and meaningful in the point of view that users can understand those things easily. However, there are few case of digitalizing photographic records, compared to printed records because of high cost and management limitation. The purpose of this study is to provide improvement plan and consideration for digitalizing analog photographic records. To achieve the goals, this study analyzes management status of photographic records in 16 provincial offices. Also, this study performs a case study on digitalization of analog photographic records and implementation of DB relating digitalized photographic records in J provincial office. Based on the results, this study proposes how to digitalize analog photographic records, and manage of digitalized photographic records.
