Design and Performance Evaluation of the Precision Pressure Control System for the High Vacuum Transport Module (고진공 운송계에서의 정밀 압력제어장치의 설게 및 성능시험)

  • In the cluster tool, it is necessary to precisely control the vacuum pressure for the wafer transportation between transport module and cassette or process modules with the range of 1*10$^{-4}$ to 5*10$^{-5}$ torr. So we have designed the pressure control system for the transport module of the cluster tool and have evaluated its performance. Digital PID is utilized with the weighted sum of both three previous errors and one current error. The feedback signal is put into the nitrogen mass flow controller using the transport module controller. This pressure control system can prevent the transport module from the particle generation and backstreaming of hazardous process gases of the process chamber.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose an curriculum for architectural studio in university to implement BIM process, through the analysis of the advantages of the BIM tool. The limitation of this study was to analyze the case study of only half year a single university. University education in the design process, the design that can be used in applying BIM content should be universal, university education considering the special working conditions, excessive BIM-based application can be difficult. Therefore, a systematic and reliable design that can be applied to education applies BIM design process is necessary to establish. University education applying BIM design review and design proposal the various 3D visualization can be used effectively to determine. In addition, the planned representation for thinking about and drawing 3D model building, architectural space can be used for visualization, and other subjects in conjunction with structural analysis, environmental analysis, facility layout, etc. can be used.

  • This paper presents a new scheme of neural network controller to improve the robustuous of robot manipulator using digital signal processors. Digital signal processors, DSPs, are micro-processors that are particularly developed for fast numerical computations involving sums and products of variables. Digital version of most advanced control algorithms can be defined as sums and products of measured variables, thus it can be programmed and executed through DSPs. In addition, DSPs are as fast in computation as most 32-bit micro-processors and yet at a fraction of their prices. These features make DSPs a viable computational tool in digital implementation of sophisticated controllers. During past decade it was proposed the well-established theorys for the adaptive control of linear systems, but there exists relatively little general theory for the adaptive control of nonlinear systems. Perforating of the proposed controller is illustrated. This paper describes a new approach to the design of adaptive controller and implementation of real-time control for assembling robotic manipulator using digital signal processor.   • Good diagnostics improves both the safety and system unavailability of digital safety systems. The measure of a diagnostic capability is called the Coverage Factor. Because the Failure Modes, Effects and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA) provides information on the failure rates and failure mode distributions necessary to calculate a diagnostic coverage factor for a component, the FMEDA can be used as a useful tool to calculate it. Through performing FMEDA on a digital signal processor (DSP) board used in a digital safety system, it is shown that some components of the DSP board can be replaced or improved to satisfy the required diagnostic coverage. That is, the FMEDA can serve as a useful verification tool to design a diagnostic capability for the DSP board.

  • A digital testing method for measurement of radial error motions of a spindle is investigated with special emphasis on developing a computer-aided in-situ inspection for machine tool manufacturing. The method utilizes three non-contact type probes and an optical encoder, based on a special computational algorithm to eliminate undesirable offset and roundness errors of the master spindle. Details of the design of hardware and software required to realize the testing method are described. Finally, advantages and limitations of the method are discussed with several test results.

  • As many engineers and technicians are involved in the design process of large scale and/or complex products, there are a lot of miss matches and interferences due to designers' faults and several kinds of CAD systems. Recently, CAD systems are applied to verify and check the assembly process. Digital Mock-Up(DMU) system, a tool to build a virtual mock-up in the design stage, has been used to prevent the interferences and miss matches during precision design processes. Using the virtual assembly tool, engineers are able to design precision and interference free parts without physical mock-ups. Instead of a single CAD source, several CAD systems are used to design a complex product. Several organizations are involved in the distributed design environment for heterogeneous multi-CAD assembly. XML and the lightweight CAD file are proposed for the multi-CAD assembly. XML data contains hierarchy of the heterogenenous multi-CAD assembly. STEP PDM schema and STEP ISO 10303-28 formations are applied to construct the XML data. The lightweight CAD file produced from various CAD files through ACIS kernel and InterOp not only contains mesn, B-Rep and topological data, but also is used to visualize CAD data and to verify dimensions. Developed system is executed on the desktop computers. It does not require commercial CAD systems to visualize 3D assembly data. Real-time interference and fitness checks, dimensional verification, and design and assembly verification are performed on the developed system. Assembly of heterogeneous models for a car is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the developed DMU system on the Internet.

  • Digital twins between "BIM Digital Model-Physical Prototype Model" will be built for Noise Barrier tunnel(NBT) that meet the definition of N.G smart city facilities derived from previous studies to build a data flow that connects data at each stage of design, construction, and operation. In this process, BIM design automation tools are created and utilized, and consistent transmission of member and attribute data is performed by converting them into IFC format. Through this, the purpose is to improve the labor-intensive environment required from the design stage of the NBT and to consistently maintain the information required for subsequent production and construction. This includes achieving changes in the construction industry based on digital transformation by unifying various data formats used differently for each industry from design to operation. In addition, it demonstrates that information exchange in the maintenance and management stages is possible based on the data exchange of the established digital twin and aims to improve the existing labor-intensive environment and expand operability between digital and physical information. As suggested in previous studies, the implementation of digital twins in these N.G smart city facilities includes the possibility of building an environment that adds to the possibility of high value-added product platforms as well as the function of big data platforms targeting existing smart cities.

  • This paper documents the design and implementation of an automatic creating web-site tool for the blind to build their own homepage by using both voice recognition and voice mixed technology with equal ease as the non-disabled. The blind can make voice mails, schedules, address lists and bookmarks by making use of the tool. It also facilitates communication between the non-disabled with the help of their information management system. This tool converts basic commands into voice recognition, also making an offer of text-to-speech which supports voice output. In the end, the tool will remove the blind's social isolation, allowing them to enjoy the information age like the non-disabled.

  • The usage increase of digital contents required solution for protection technology and interoperability of system. MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group) proposed MPEG-21 Multimedia Frameworks. MPEG-21 IPMP is standard that provides the means to enable digital item and rights information to be persistently managed and protected across networks and devices. In this paper, MPEG-21 IPMP based system to protect digital contents designed by four structures of license server, production server, consumption server, tool server. License server create rights information document using the XML-based REL about multimedia contents of users. Production server makes a digital item by packaging multimedia resource and metadata, which is combined by REL information and IPMP information of multimedia resource. Consumption server takes care of the functions of players that use digital item, and tool server was implement to transmit for missing tool that might occur in all procedures.
