As the consumption of fishery products continues to increase, aquaculture industry has emerged instead of fishing industry facing limitations of fish stock resources. Recently, smart fish farming industry has rapidly developed through convergence with 4th Industrial Revolution technology. Accordingly, it is important to derive a future model of smart fish farming platforms in order to secure the superiority of the aquaculture industry and the technology standard hegemony. In this study, the future direction of smart fish farm platform was derived through the analysis of environment related to politics, economy, society, and technology related to smart fish farming by applying PEST methodology of macro-environment analysis. It is expected that it will help the public and industrial circles in planning and implementing related projects by including the entire process of value chain of aquaculture industry of breeding, production, management and distribution, and by presenting advanced models based on artificial intelligence and digital twin.

Methylmercury (MeHg), one of the heavy metal compounds, can cause severe damage to the central nervous system in humans. Many reports have shown that MeHg is poisonous to human body through contaminated foods and has released into the environment. Despite many studies on the pathogenesis of MeHg-induced central neuropathy, no useful mechanism of toxicity has been established so far. In this study, two methods, cDNA Microarray and SSH, were performed to assess the expression profile against MeHg and to identify differentially expressed genes by MeHg in neuroblastoma cell line. TwinChip Human-8K (Digital Genomics) was used with total RNA from SH-SY5Y (human neuroblastoma cell line) treated with solvent (DMSO) and 6.25 uM (IC50) MeHg. And we performed forward and reverse SSH method on mRNA derived from SH-SY5Y treated with DMSO and MeHg (6.25 uM). Differentially expressed cDNA clones were sequenced and were screened by dot blot and ribonuclease protection assay to confirm that individual clones indeed represent differentially expressed genes. These sequences were identified by BLAST homology search to known genes or expressed sequence tags (ESTs). Analysis of these sequences may provide an insight into the biological effects of MeHg in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disease and a possibility to develop more efficient and exact monitoring system of heavy metals as environmental pollutants.

To prevent the ozonosphere from being destroyed by Halon, it is an urgent task to find out Halon replacement. As one of the replacements water mist have showed broad applications by its advantages: little pollution to environment (not destroying the ozone layer or bring green house effect), extinguishing fire quickly, consuming a small quantity of water and having little damage to the protected objects. The methods of generating water mist strongly influence fire suppression effectiveness, which determine the cone angle, drop size distribution, flux uniformity, and momentum of the generating spray. The traditional water mist nozzle included pressure jet nozzles, impingement nozzles and twin-fluid nozzles. All of them have more or less disadvantages for fire suppression. Therefore, many research institutes and corporations are taking up with innovations in mist generation. This article provided some recent studies in State Key Laboratory of Fire Science (SKLFS) of University of Science and Technology of China. SKLFS have investigated new methods of generating water mist (i.e. effervescent atomization and ultrasonic atomization). and self developed a series of nozzles and developed advanced DPIVS (Digital Particle Image Velocimetry and Sizing) technique. Characteristics of water mist (the distribution of droplet sizes, flux density, spray dynamics and cone angle) produced by these nozzles were measured under different conditions (work pressure, nozzle geometry, etc.) using LDV/APV and DPTVS systems. A series of experiments were performed to study the fire suppression effectiveness in different fire scenario (different kindsof the fuel, fire size and ventilation conditions). The fire extinguishing mechanisms of water mist was also discussed.

This paper introduces the state definition and diagnostic algorithm for autonomic control of manufacturing facilities. Smart factory systems through cyber-physical systems and digital twin technology are increasing the productivity and stability of existing manufacturing plants, which has become an issue recently. A Smart factory system is one of the key technologies that make up a smart factory system, to improve productivity, enable workers to make better decisions, and to control abnormal process flows. However, performing an autonomic control process based on large number of integrated plat data requires significant advance work. Therefore, in this paper, we define an abstracted facility state for manufacturing facility autonomic control and propose an algorithm to diagnose the current state. This makes the autonomic control process simpler by autonomic control based on the facility status rather then integrated facility data.

This paper introduces a facility simulation system for efficient error detection of smart factories. The facility simulation system, which can infer and solve errors autonomously when analyzing the relationship between plant facilities, is one of the important technologies for constructing a smart factory with high productivity. In order to implement this autonomic control system, it is necessary to be able to identify the status of facilities and analyze the relationship between facilities through the data of factory facilities. Therefore, in this paper, we design and develop a simulation program that can detect the equipment that causes the process error when an error occurs based on the process scenario using the defined equipment status. The simulation shows that the error inference process based on the process map and facility status is more efficient than the general error inference process. This simulation program provides an intuitive view of the reasoning and resolution of facility failures.

Recently, companies are growing by introducing rational and optimized technology for all processes, including design. In particular, the emergence of ICT-based cloud platforms has given rise to solutions that are equipped with all the necessary business services in corporations and schools, affecting technical education and corporate growth that have not been experienced thus far. The virtual reality technology and convergence of HMD devices utilizing this platform is a new turning point in corporate development. Therefore, this study tested the VR functions used in design based on 3DEXP and HMD VR devices. Second, design utilization and this issue were examined through a survey based on the experimental data. The results showed that 3DEXP and HMD VR technologies are closely related in terms of design utilization and have demonstrated their mediated effects through statistical analysis. Nevertheless, it is not enough to generalize some engineering students as a result of the study. On the other hand, the introduction of HMD VR technology is one of the pillars of education and the implementation of virtual reality technology.

In this study, we developed low cost INS and (D)GPS integration for continuous attitude and position and utilized it for the determination of exterior orientation parameters of image sensors which are equipped in 4S-Van. During initial alignment process, the heading information was extracted from twin GPS and fine alignment with Kalman filter was performed for the determination of roll and pitch. Simulation and van test were performed for the performance analysis. Based on simulation result, roll and pitch error is around 0.01-0.03 degrees and yaw error around 0.1 degrees. Based on van test, position error in linear road is around 10 cm and curve around 1 m. Using direct georeferencing method, the image sensor's orientation and position information can be acquired directly from (D)GPS/INS integration. 4S-Van achieved 3D spatial data using (D)GPS/INS and image data can be applied to the spatial data integration and application such as contemporary digital map update, road facility management and Video GIS DB.
