  • In this paper, we implemented the computer vision platform design with MEAN Stack through Raspberry PI 2 model which is an open source platform. we experimented the face recognition, temperature and humidity sensor data logging with WiFi communication under Raspberry Pi 2 model. Especially we directly made the shape of platform with 3D printing design. In this paper, we used the face recognition algorithm with OpenCV software through haarcascade feature extraction machine learning algorithm, and extended the functionality of wireless communication function ability with Bluetooth technology for the purpose of making Android Mobile devices interface. And therefore we implemented the functions of the vision platform for identifying the face recognition characteristics of scanning with PI camera with gathering the temperature and humidity sensor data under IoT environment. and made the vision platform with 3D printing technology. Especially we used MongoDB for developing the performance of vision platform because the MongoDB is more akin to working with objects in a programming language than what we know of as a database. Afterwards, we would enhance the performance of vision platform for clouding functionalities.

  • In this paper, we propose a digital human content creation system. The digital human content creation system works with 3D AI modeling through whole-body scanning, and is produced with 3D modeling post-processing, texturing, rigging. By combining this with virtual reality(VR) content information, natural motion of the virtual model can be achieved in virtual reality, and digital human content can be efficiently created in one system. Therefore, there is an effect of enabling the creation of virtual reality-based digital human content that minimizes resources. In addition, it is intended to provide an automated pre-processing process that does not require a pre-processing process for 3D modeling and texturing by humans, and to provide a technology for efficiently managing various digital human contents. In particular, since the pre-processing process such as 3D modeling and texturing to construct a virtual model are automatically performed by artificial intelligence, so it has the advantage that rapid and efficient virtual model configuration can be achieved. In addition, it has the advantage of being able to easily organize and manage digital human contents through signature motion.

  • Essential to the establishment of such 3D spatial information are the laser scanning technology to obtain high-precision 3D point group data and the photography-metric camera to obtain high-resolution multispectral image information. The photography-metric camera, however, lacks in usability for its broad scope of utilization due to the high purchase price, difficult purchase channel, and low applicability. This study thus set out to investigate a technique to establish multi-dimensional ortho-image data with a single lens reflex digital camera of high speed and easy accessibility for general users. That is, the study remodeled a single lens reflex digital camera and calibrated the remodeled camera to establish 3D multispectral image information, which is the essential data of 3D spatial information. Multi-dimensional ortho-image data were collected by surveying the reference points for stereo photos, taking multispectral shots of the objects, and converting them into ortho-images.

  • Recently, aerial laser scanning technology has received full attention in constructing DEM(Digital Elevation Model). It is well known that the quality of DEM is mostly influenced by the accuracy of DTD(Digital Terrain Data) extracted from LiDAR(Light Detection And Ranging) raw data. However, there are always misclassified data in the DTD generated by automatic filtering process due to the limitation of automatic filtering algorithm and intrinsic property of LiDAR raw data. In order to eliminate the misclassified data, a manual filtering process is performed right after automatic filtering process. In this study, an algorithm that detects automatically possible misclassified data included in the DTD from automatic filtering process is proposed, which will reduce the load of manual filtering process. The algorithm runs on 2D grid data structure and makes use of several parameters such as 'Slope Angle', 'Slope DeltaH' and 'NNMaxDH(Nearest Neighbor Max Delta Height)'. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm quite well detected the misclassified data regardless of the terrain type and LiDAR point density.

  • Digital technology introduced into the clothing and fashion industry is evolving to digital virtual fashions and consumer-centered mass-customized production systems. Today the application of such 3D virtual try-on systems is being expanded gradually in the clothing industry. This study purposed to make virtual avatars and virtual garments using OptiTex and V-stitcher virtual software and compared the appearance of the virtual garments put on the virtual avatars. For this, we created virtual avatars and virtual garments using body measurements obtained from jive subjects of top jive body shapes, respectively, using $[TC]^2$ body scanner. According to the results of comparing the outcomes of the two different virtual software systems, virtual avatar II of V-Stitcher tended to have a more round and lifted hip and the waist line at a higher position. In addition, the body curves and shapes of a virtual avatar affect the appearance of virtual garments. This study applied the same body measurements to virtual avatars and the same pattern to virtual garments, but when different kinds of virtual software were used, the virtual avatars and virtual garments showed different appearance and fit. This result may mean that when customers buy apparel products using different kinds of virtual try-on systems, their evaluation of appearance can vary depending on the virtual try-on system. Therefore, research needs to be made actively for the development and use of linkage programs that can reflect actual body measurements between virtual software systems and 3D body scanning systems.

  • PURPOSE. The trueness and precision of acquired images of intraoral digital scanners could be influenced by restoration type, preparation outline form, scanning technology and the application of power. The aim of this study is to perform the comparative evaluation of the 3-dimensional reproducibility of intraoral scanners (IOSs). MATERIALS AND METHODS. The phantom containing five prepared teeth was scanned by the reference scanner (Dental Wings) and 5 test IOSs (E4D dentist, Fastscan, iTero, Trios and Zfx Intrascan). The acquired images of the scanner groups were compared with the image from the reference scanner (trueness) and within each scanner groups (precision). Statistical analysis was performed using independent two-samples t-test and analysis of variance (${\alpha}=.05$). RESULTS. The average deviations of trueness and precision of Fastscan, iTero and Trios were significantly lower than the other scanners. According to the restoration type, significantly higher trueness was observed in crown and inlay than in bridge. However, no significant difference was observed among four sites of preparation outline form. If compared by the characteristics of IOS, high trueness was observed in the group adopting the active triangulation and using powder. However, there was no significant difference between the still image acquisition and video acquisition groups. CONCLUSION. Except for two intraoral scanners, Fastscan, iTero and Trios displayed comparable levels of trueness and precision values in tested phantom model. Difference in trueness was observed depending on the restoration type, the preparation outline form and characteristics of IOS, which should be taken into consideration when the intraoral scanning data are utilized.

  • The most critical issue in free-form buildings is how to construct the free-formed exterior facade panels. Their geometric complexity delivers many cons and problems in fabricating and constructing their shapes. To construct a free-form building, first of all, its skin has to be chopped into small pieces, which is called panelization. After panelization, the panels go through an optimization process to construct them economically. The panel's geometries are modified or regenerated through this optimization process. In this study, the panel optimization process of free-form buildings are performed through a case study. The panel shapes of the case study are modeled with Digital Project. To test the constructability of the various panels, 8 mock-up panels are made and laser scanning technology is applied to measure the preciseness of the panels manufactured in comparison with their original design.
