치간 세정 용품에 따른 지르코니아 크라운 인접면의 인공 치면 세균막 제거 효과 (Comparison of the effect of removing artificial dental plaque depending on various interdental cleaning products on the interdental surface of zirconia crowns)

  • 목적: 다섯 종류의 치간 세정 용품들을 이용하여, 지르코니아 크라운으로 수복된 치아의 치간공간에서 치면세균막 제거 효과의 임상적 차이를 살펴보는 것이다. 재료 및 방법: 하악 우측 제2소구치, 제1대구치 부위에 지대치를 형성한 모형을 제작하고, 두 지대치에 장착할 지르코니아 크라운을 각 10개씩 제작하였다. 인공 치면세균막을 제2소구치 원심면, 제1대구치 근심면에 도포한 후, 1인 실험자가 실제 구강 내에서 사용하는 모습을 재현하여 치간칫솔, 엔드터프트칫솔, 치실, 이지픽, 워터픽으로 군 당 10회 실험하였다. 디지털 카메라로 촬영된 이미지를 이용하여 제거된 양상 및 면적을 분석하였다. 통계 분석으로는 일요인 분산분석을 시행하였고, Scheffé 방법으로 사후검정 시행하였다 (P < .05). 결과: 치간 세정 용품에 따른 인공 치면세균막 제거 양상을 비교한 결과, 용품의 특성에 따라 제거되는 부위와 양상에 차이가 나타났다. 치실에서 변연 경계부를 포함하여 가장 넓은 면적이 제거되었다. 치간칫솔에서는 변연 경계부 위주로 제거가 되었으며, 이지픽은 치간칫솔보다 좁은 부위가 제거되었다. 엔드터프트칫솔은 협설면에서 인접면으로 이행되는 부분이 치간칫솔, 이지픽에 비해서 넓은 부위가 제거된 양상을 보였으나, 접촉점 직하방 부위는 거의 제거되지 않은 양상을 보였다. 워터픽에서는 거의 제거 되지 않은 양상을 보였다. 인공 치면세균막 제거율은 치실(69.47%), 엔드터프트칫솔(49.36%), 치간칫솔(44.20%), 이지픽(13.04%), 워터픽(0.59%) 순으로 나타났다. 결론: 지르코니아 크라운으로 수복된 치간공간에서의 치면세균막 제거율은 치실이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 변연경계부에서의 치면세균막 제거는 치간칫솔이 가장 효과적으로 나타났다.

잠재프로파일 분석을 활용한 한국 노인 라이프스타일 유형화와 영향요인 분석 (Predicting Healthy Lifestyle Patterns in Older Community Dwelling Adults: A Latent Profile Analysis)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 고령자의 라이프스타일이 어떤 형태로 유형화되는지에 대해 라이프스타일 잠재 집단 유형을 분석하고 각 집단의 유형별 특성을 파악하여 고령자의 건강과 삶의 질 증진을 위한 기초자료를 마련하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구방법 : 본 연구에는 횡단연구방법이 사용되었다. 2019년 4월부터 5월까지 고령자의 라이프스타일 유형을 파악하기 위해 만 65세 이상의 국내 지역사회 거주 노인 184명을 대상으로 설문조사가 이루어 졌다. 수집된 설문자료를 활용하여 잠재프로파일분석(LPA)을 실시하였고, 도출된 각 유형별 특성과 영향요인을 확인하기 위해 χ2 검정, 다항로지스틱회귀분석 등을 활용하였다. 결과 : 연구결과, 고령자의 라이프스타일은 중 첫 번째 영역인 신체적 활동부분에서는 '소극적 운동 참여형(31.1%)', '저강도 운동 집중형(54.5%)'과 '균형적 운동 참여형(14.5%)'인 3개의 잠재집단으로 분류되었다. 활동 참여의 경우 '비활동형(12%)', '생활유지형(61%)', '활동적 노년형(27%)'인 3집단으로 분류되었으며, 마지막 식이습관에 대한 경우 '전반적 영양부족형(13.5%)'과 '균형적 영양 섭취형(86.5%)' 2집단으로 분류되었다. 또한 라이프스타일 유형이 고령자의 건강과 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 다항로지스틱회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 활동적·균형적 라이프스타일에 속할수록 삶의 질과 건강 수준이 전반적으로 높은 곳으로 확인되었다. 또한 이러한 유형의 예측요인에서 성별, 교육수준, 거주지역 등이 주요하게 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 : 고령자가 보다 다양한 활동에 균형적으로 참여하고, 활동적인 일상생활을 수행할 때 건강과 삶의 만족도가 증진됨이 분석되었다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 토대로 고령자의 라이프스타일 유형에 맞춘 실증적·정책적 개입 방안을 제안하였다.

창업지원정책이 창업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 메타분석 (Meta-analysis on the Effect of Startup Support Policies to Startup Performance)

  • 본 연구에서는 창업지원정책의 수혜 기업들의 창업성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 지원기관 및 실무자에게 이론적 실무적 시사점을 제공하고자 창업지원정책이 창업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 메타분석을 하였다. 이를 위해 2007년부터 2020년까지 국내에서 발표된 학술지 논문과 학위논문의 선행연구들 중에서 정의 통계수치인 상관계수가 포함된 논문을 최종적으로 35편 선정하였다. 창업지원정책의 선행연구에서 독립변수로는 자금지원, 교육지원, 시설/장비지원, 네트워크지원, 멘토링지원, 컨설팅지원, 마케팅지원, 경영지원, 기술지원, 인력지원과 종속변수로 창업성과인 재무적 성과, 비재무적성과에 미치는 영향의 효과크기를 검토하였다. 효과크기의 패턴을 시각적으로 이해하기 쉽도록 forest plot으로 제시하였고 small-study-effect인 출간편의가 있는 데이터들은 민감성 분석을 통하여 이상치를 검증하였다. 정부지원정책의 효과크기를 분석한 결과 대체로 중간이상의 효과크기를 나타내 창업성과에 영향을 미치고 있음이 검증되었다. 독립변수 중 창업성과에 대한 효과크기가 가장 큰 요소는 인력지원이며, 그 다음으로 기술지원, 마케팅지원, 경영지원, 시설/장비지원, 교육지원, 멘토링지원, 자금지원, 네트워크지원, 그리고 컨설팅지원 순으로 효과크기가 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 최근 2020년 10월 8일 「중소기업창업 지원법」이 제조업 중심에서 디지털 전환과 스마트화 등으로 개편한 만큼 창업지원정책도 창업단계를 고려하고 우선순위를 검증하여 예산의 편성을 하여야 한다.

봄철 포도 신초 저온 피해 양상과 품종별 전엽기 내한성 비교 (Spring Shoot Damage and Cold Hardiness of Grape in Different Varieties and Phenological Stages)

  • 포도는 국내뿐만 아니라 세계적으로도 중요도가 높은 과수 중 하나이다. 최근 기후변화에 따른 생물계절 단계의 변화와 이상저온 발생은 봄철 포도 신초 피해의 발생가능성을 높이고 있으며, 안정적인 포도 생산에 위협이 되고 있다. 본 연구는 저온에 의한 발아기부터 초기 전엽기까지의 생물계절단계별 신초의 피해 정도와 수체 내 당 함량의 관계를 알아보고, 우리나라 주요 품종인 '캠벨얼리', '거봉', '샤인머스켓' 품종의 전엽기 기준 내한성 비교를 위해 수행하였다. 포도 '캠벨얼리'의 생물계절단계별 LT50 추정을 통한 내한성 평가 결과, 발아기부터 4매 전엽기까지 생물계절단계가 진행될수록 내한성은 지속적으로 감소하였다. 각 기관별 당함량은 신초 정단, 화수, 줄기에서 마찬가지로 지속적인 감소가 두드러졌다. 따라서 신초의 내한성 감소는 당 함량에 기인한 것으로 생각되었다. 국내 주요 품종인 '캠벨얼리', '거봉', '샤인머스켓'의 전엽기 내한성 비교 결과, 전체 당 함량이 가장 높은 샤인머스켓이 가장 낮은 LT50을 보여 가장 높은 내한성을 나타내었다. 그 다음으로는 '거봉', '캠벨얼리' 순이었다. 내한성은 품종마다 다르지만 이는 절대적이지 않으며 생물계절단계에 따라서도 변화하는 것으로 생각되었다.

서울·경기지역 청동기시대 전기 생계자원(生計資源) 생산방식 (Patterns of Subsistence Production in the Early Bronze Age in the Seoul/Gyeonggi Region)

  • 청동기시대 전기 생계경제는 문화유형, 환경적 요인 등에 의해 발현될 수 있는 생산방식의 다양성이 충분히 고려되지 않은 채, 농경 수행의 강도를 설명하는데 초점을 맞추어왔다. 이러한 상황은 신석기-청동기시대 이행을 얼마나 단절적으로 또는 연속적으로 이해할 것인가의 문제를 진지하게 고민하지 않는 데서 비롯된 것으로 보인다. 이러한 인식은 생계자원 생산방식의 점진적인 변화를 탐색할 수 있는 경로를 차단해 왔다. 본고에서는 청동기시대 생계자원의 생산방식이 연속·점진적으로 변화되었다는 것을 전제로 하면서, 청동기시대 전기 생산방식에 영향을 주었을 다양한 요소에 따른 생산자원 생산양상을 복원해보고자 하였다. 청동기시대 전기는 문화유형과 생태적소가 다양하게 확인되는바, 특정 시기의 생계자원 생산방식을 복원하는 작업은 단편적인 한두 가지 분석으로는 달성되기가 어렵다. 따라서 생계자원 생산과 관련된 몇 가지 측면을 분리하여 분석·해석하고 종국에는 모두를 종합하는 것이 적절한 방법적 경로가 될 듯하다. 구체적인 연구 방법으로 생계자원 생산과 밀접한 연관을 지니는 문화·환경적 요소-문화유형, 지리·지형적 요소, 토양생산성, 취락규모-에 따라 기능상 분류된 석제 생산도구 구성에 차이가 있는지를 확인하였다. 분석 결과 서울·경기 지역의 청동기시대 전기 생계자원 생산양상에 있어 문화유형과 지리·지형적 입지에 따른 유의미한 차이는 관찰되지 않는 반면, 취락규모와 토양생산성에 따른 생산도구 구성의 차이에서는 통계적으로도 제법 유의한 결과가 도출되었다. 취락규모와 종합생산토양 비율이 증가할수록 수렵·무구, 목가공구, 수확구가 증가하는 반면 어로구의 비율에 있어서는 그 반대의 양상이 관찰되었다. 취락규모나 작물재배의 생산성에 따른 수렵 혹은 농경에 대한 의존도 사이에 상관관계를 기대하게 하나, 취락규모와 토양생산성 비율 간의 회귀분석 결과에서는 상호 유의미한 관계로 해석되지 않았다. 즉, 이는 여러 요인에 따라 생산양상도 상이하며, 어느 단편적인 요소가 특정 취락의 생계자원의 생산방식을 채택하는데 결정적이지 않았다는 것을 보여주는 결과라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 청동기시대 전기 사회에서의 취락을 구성하는 다양한 문화·환경적 요소에 따라 생계자원 생산양상 검토가 필요하다.

국보 창경궁 자격루 누기의 보존상태 진단을 위한 과학적 조사 (Scientific Study on Clepsydra of Changgyeonggung Palace, National Treasure for Diagnosis on State of Conservation)

  • 우리나라 문화유산에서 상당한 비중을 이루는 금속문화재 중 일부는 고유 기능과 역할, 규모 등으로 인해 야외에 설치·전시되고 있다. 그렇기에 안정적 환경에서보다 다양하고 복합적인 훼손이 발생할 수 있다. 따라서 야외 설치 문화유산의 보존상태 진단을 위한 조사뿐만 아니라 조사 결과로 확보한 기초 자료를 장기적이고 지속적인 보존관리의 데이터로 활용하기 위해서는 정확한 진단과 체계화된 조사법을 접목할 필요가 있다. 제작 당시부터 야외에 설치·전시된 국보 창경궁 자격루 누기는 지속적인 보존관리에도 손상이 발생하여, 전면적인 보존처리에 앞서 보존상태 진단을 위한 과학적인 조사를 실시하였다. 먼저 조사 목적에 따라 제원 및 육안조사, 과거 보수이력 조사를 통해 보존상태를 조사하였다. 그리고 3D 스캔과 표면 문양 조사, 색차 분석을 통한 정밀조사와 P-XRF, FT-IR, Py-GC/MS 분석으로 재질과 오염물을 분석하였다. 과학적 조사 결과에 대한 검토를 통해 과거 보존처리 과정에서 사용된 스쿠알란(squalane)과 실리콘 오일(silicone oil)이 야외 환경 요인에 직접적으로 노출되어 손상이 발생하였으며, 그 위에 먼지 등의 이물질이 두텁게 고착되어 오염이 심화된 것으로 확인되었다. 상대적으로 노출 영향이 높은 부분을 중심으로 손상의 발생 정도가 큰 것이 확인되었으며, 이는 색차 데이터를 그룹화(grouping)하여 파악한 경향성과 일치하였다. 이처럼 보존상태를 진단하고 기초자료를 확보하는데 다양한 조사법을 접목한 결과 발생한 손상 원인과 양상을 파악할 수 있었다. 또한 조사에서는 다양하게 활용 가능한 디지털 데이터의 확보 과정과 가시적으로 확인되는 손상을 과학적 데이터로 제시하고 손상 양상 등의 경향성을 파악할 수 있는 색차 분석이 효과적인 것으로 확인되었다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The correlation between glucose concentration and parameters was the best at 610nm. 30535 T00401030535 ^x Radiation-induced fibrosarcoma tumors were grown on the flanks of C3H mice. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. To synthesize microspheres for biomedical application, "two stage shot growth method" was developed. The uniformity ratio of synthesized microspheres was always smaller than 1.05. And the surface charge density (or the number of ionizable functional groups) of the microspheres synthesized by "two stage shot growth method" was 6~13 times higher than that of the microspheres synthesized by conventional seeded batch copolymerization. As a previous step for biomedical application, adsorption experiments of bovine albumin on microspheres were carried out under various conditions. The maximum adsorbed amount was obtained in the neighborhood of pH 4.5. Isoelectric point of bovine albumin is pH 5.0, so experimental result shows that it shifted to acid area. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. Portable electrical stimulator with 16 channels built in microprocessor was constructed and applied to paraplegic patients due to lumbar cord injury.
