  • 광 디스크 channel상에서 RSPC의 error correction capability를 확률적인 계산 방법으로 계산하는 데는 많은 어려움이 있다. 그 이유는 바로 광 디스크 channel이 burst error channel이기 때문인데, 이 burst error를 어떻게 다루는 가에 따라 그 error correction capability는 사뭇 달라진다. 이 논문에서는 Sony의 dust error distribution[1] 아래에서 4-state Morkov Chain[2]로 modeling하고 그 결과를 가지고 burst error를 channel의 특성과 ECC format의 특성에 맞게 제어할 수 있는 확률적인 계산방법을 소개하고 그것을 simulation하고자 한다.

A Study of Influence of B anker's Big5 Personality Traits on Entrepreneurial Intention: Mediated Effect of Digital Media Utilization Capability (은행원의 Big5 성격요인이 창업의도에 미치는 영향: 디지털미디어 활용역량의 매개효과)

  • This study aimed to analyze characteristics of banker's personality who were engaged in five commercial banks (KB Kookmin Bank, Shinhan Bank, Woori Bank, KEB Hana Bank and NH Nonghyup Bank) with Big5 personality traits and also, investigate the influence of personality traits on entrepreneurial intention and digital media utilization capability, especially based on preceding research. Also, it analyzed mediated effect of digital media capability between Big5 personality traits and entrepreneurial intention. First, the analysis results of the influence of Big5 personality traits on the entrepreneurial intention showed that extroversion, openness had positive impact on the entrepreneurial intention but sincerity had negative impact on the entrepreneurial intention. Second, the friendliness, sincerity, openness had positive impact on contents utilization capability while openness had positive impact on the communication utilization capability. Third, the influence of communication utilization capability on the entrepreneurial intention was positive. Fourth, the mediated effect of digital media capability between Big5 personality traits and entrepreneurial intention discovered that the communication utilization capability mediated the openness and entrepreneurial intention. It's required to look for the bankers with extroversion, openness that positively influenced entrepreneurial intention and carry out systematic, practical entrepreneurship education to help set up actual business after retirement. This study successfully derive conclusion that it's in urgent need to improve entrepreneurship education program so that the bankers could strengthen their communication utilization capability and improve their capability to gather various information through entrepreneurship education and furthermore, create new value followed by starting their own business.

The Effects of Information Technology Acceptance and Digital Media Utilization Capability on Senior Entrepreneurship Intention: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Opportunity Recognition (정보기술 수용성과 디지털미디어 활용역량이 시니어 창업의도에 미치는 영향: 기회인식의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The global economic crisis, the trend of an aging society, and the rapid digital transformation are huge burdens and crises for our society. Due to these environmental changes and the economic recession, entrepreneurship and re-employment issues after retirement have emerged as social issues. This study was conducted to empirically analyze what factors affect seniors when they may start a business. In particular, as the fourth industrial revolution progresses, the focus was on the capability to utilize information and communication technology (ICT) and digital media that cannot be avoided. For empirical analysis, an online survey of seniors was conducted and 287 valid samples were analyzed. SPSS 24.0 and Macro Process 4.0 were used for statistical analysis. As a result of the empirical analysis of this study, self-efficacy and personal innovation for information technology acceptance(ICT), and communication capability using digital media had a significantly positive (+) effect on senior's entrepreneurial intention. However, the perceived usefulness of information technology and the capability to utilize digital media devices were not tested for significance. Among the variables that had a significant effect, personal innovation was found to have the greatest effect. Opportunity recognition was found to play a mediating role between self-efficacy, personal innovation, communication capabilities, and senior's entrepreneurial intention. The results of this study are of academic and practical significance in that digital media utilization capability is also an influential factor among various factors influencing the entrepreneurial intention of seniors.

  • Burst Error Channel의 에러 정정 기술로써 Reed-Solomon Product Code(RSPC)가 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 그러나 Random Error Channel과는 달리 Burst Error Channel 상에서 RSPC의 에러 정정 평가 방법에는 많은 어려움이 있다. 우리는 이번 논문에서 Burst Error Channel 상에서 RSPC의 Error Correction Capability의 확률적인 계산 방법을 기술하려 한다.

  • In this modern digital era, there are very vigorous arguments about digital and media aesthetics throughout culture and art on the basis of new transferring of recognition about the art-media's characteristics. Therefore, this paper tries to discover the art-media's characteristics and aesthetic value that are included in contemporary digital fashion through studying the fusion between digital and fashion. The purpose of this research is to offer positive and evolutive opportunity of artistic thinking to make the meeting between fashion and media suggest the future generation, adaptation and recognition in the media - developmental environment that will be deeper and more fueling. In the area of research method, this paper takes the method of theoretical research by referring national and foreign literatures and preceding research-papers, and carries out investigation and analysis about digital fashion for the last 10 years. The results of this study; The art-media's characteristics of modern digital fashion are virtuality, immateriality and characteristics of multimedia. The aesthetic values can be classified with four kinds of properties. First is hybridity initiated from multi-media that creates works; the second is infinite reproductivity initiated from the characteristics of the multi media and the digital carrier. Thirdly, there is also interactivity appeared all over the area of production, adaptation and perception caused by non-linearity and immateriality. Finally there is synesthesia that can extend the capability of sense through digital media.

  • The purpose of this study is to draw the digital design curriculum in architectural design studio. For this study, works using digital design process in professional and academic projects were investigated. Digital design curriculum is consisted of 3 steps; fundamental, intensive and advanced courses. The fundamental course acquires capability for raising architectural thought through digital media. The intensive course acquires capability for raising architectural design process. Finally, the advanced course acquires capability for raising synthesis design works and professional abilities in architectural design. It is also a urgent need of unified roadmap about digital design curriculum for architectural design education in Korea.

  • 초고속 인터넷 망이 보급되고 디지털 방송 서비스가 본격화됨에 따라 디지털 콘텐츠가 기하급수적으로 증가하였고, 댁내에서 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 공유/재생할 수 있는 기기들이 다양화 되어지고, 스마트폰과 같은 개인용 모바일 기기의 사용이 보편화 되어짐에 따라 사용자는 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 시청할 때 다양한 시청 환경 조건에 놓이게 되었다. 하지만, 사용자에게 제공되어지는 어플리케이션은 단말 및 특정 시청환경에 종속된 형태로 개발되어 지고 있고, 사용자의 단말 및 시청환경에 따라 서로 다른 수많은 어플리케이션이 개발되고 있다. 따라서, 사용자의 시청 환경을 고려하여 서로 다른 성능(Device Capability)을 가지는 기기들에 최적화된 사용자 인터페이스와 응용 프로그램을 제공하기 위한 홈 네트워크상에서의 상황인지형 스케일러블 데이터 서비스 기술 개발이 요구되어지고 있다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 하나의 어플리케이션 인터페이스를 통하여 수시로 변화하는 시청환경에 따라 사용자에게 최적의 어플리케이션을 제공할 수 있는 서비스 방법을 제안한다.

Low-bitrate Multichannel Audio Coding (저비트율 멀티채널 오디오 부호화)

  • Technology for compressing low-bitrate multichannel audio coding is being standardized owing to the increasing need of consumer for multichannel audio contents. In this paper we propose the sound source location cue coding (SSLCC) for extremely compressing multichannel audio to be suitable at the narrow bandwidth transmission environment. To improve the compression capability of the conventional binaural cue coding(BCC), the SSLCC adopts the virtual source location information (VSLI) as a spatial cue parameter, a symmetric uniform quantizer, and Huffman coder. The objective and subjective assessment results show that the SSLCC provides lower bitrate and better audio quality than conventional BCC method.

  • As mentioned on the paper, this study does not tackle the issue of contention about different media mix. It rather analyzes the capability and intensity of new media created through the correlation of different media, and researches the intermediality relationship among media to create new type of fine quality media. Along with the development of digital technology, the intermediality relationship among painting, video media such as movie and animation has become active. Also, as the study examined, the mix of 'painting and movie', 'movie, animation, game' has blurred the boundary, and formed a mutual inevitable relationship. Thus, this study examined the transfer of media and correlation based on intermediality relationship insisted by Rajewski and Deleuze's theory. Deleuze's theory explains the relationship of being which analyzed the variation of media. As for the intermediality relationship of media, the study examined process of media combining and converting based on 3 types of category of Rajewski, "media combination, media conversion, intermedial relationship matching".

The Effect of Business and Digital Capabilities of Small Businesses on Business Satisfaction : The Moderating Effect of Personal Media Education Performance (소상공인의 사업역량과 디지털역량이 사업만족도에 미치는 영향 : 1인 미디어 교육성과의 조절효과)

  • This study was conducted to empirically analyze the relationship between business and digital capabilities of small businesses on business satisfaction. To this end, business capabilities were subdivided into industry expertise and customer management expertise. Digital capabilities were subdivided into SNS activity, ease of ICT usability, and business utilization of ICT. At the same time, we examined how the moderating effect of performance of personal media education. A survey was conducted to empirically analyze this, and 200 sample who received personal media education were analyzed. SPSS 24.0 and Macro Process 4.0 were used for statistical analysis. As a result of the empirical analysis of this study, industry expertise, customer management expertise, SNS activity, and business utilization of ICT, all had a positive (+) significant effect on business satisfaction. On the other hand, the significant influence relationship on the ease of ICT usability was not tested. Industry expertise and business utilization of ICT were found to be variables that had a great influence. It was analyzed that personal media education performance plays a moderating role between SNS activity, business utilization of ICT and business satisfaction. The results of this study are meaningful in that they empirically analyze that these capabilities affect business satisfaction even for small businesses at a time when the importance of digital capabilities increases.
