This paper proposes a digital algorithm for gray-scale/color image segmentation of real-time video signals and a cell-network-based implementation architecture in state-of-the-art CMOS technology. Through extrapolation of design and simulation results we predict that about 300$\times$300 pixels can be integrated on a chip at 100nm CMOS technology, realizing very high-speed segmentation at about 1600sec per color image. Consequently real-time color-video segmentation will become possible in near future.

This paper reprdsents a new scheme of neural network control system analysis the robustues of robot manipulator using digital signal processors. Digtal signal processors, DSPs, are micro-processors that are particularly developed for fast numerical computations involving sums and products of variables. Digital version of most advanced control algorithms can be defined as sums and products of measured variables, thus it can be programmed and executed through DSPs. In additions, DSPs are a s fast in computation as most 32-bit micro-processors and yet at a fraction of their prices. These features make DSPs a viable computational tool in digital implementation of sophisticated controllers. Durng past decade it was proposed the well-established theorys for the adaptive control of linear systems, but there exists relatively little general theory for the adaptive control of nonlinear systems. The proposed neuro network control algorithm is one of learning a model based error back-propagation scheme using Lyapunov stability analysis method.

WUSB is a new technology which combines the speed and the security of wired USB with the easy use of wireless technology. In this paper, GUI for WUSB is designed and implemented to show the connectivity and contents of the WUSB devices. Also, the proposed GUI shows the log window while content transfers occur between the host and device. The proposed GUI can be used for various wireless technologies which provide wireless function with existing USB hosts and devices.

Recently, mobile wireless data traffic has been dramatically increased due to not only the popularization of digital convergence devices including smart phone, Net-book, and Tablet PC, but also the vitalization of wireless Internet related eco-systems such as AppStore. In addition, it is expected that a tremendous increase in mobile data is caused by the release of unlimited mobile data plans (flat-fee). In order to deal with such mobile data traffic explosion, it is necessary that network operators should make efforts to offload wireless data traffic. This paper reviews the condition of mobile wireless data traffic in domestic and international telecommunication industry and looks for various action plans to overcome the difficulty of network operators.

고속 대용량의 통합된 정보를 전송하기 위한 기간망(backbone network)과 가입자망(access network) 사이에는 병목 현상에 따른 congestion 문제가 불가피하다. 따라서 증가하는 가입자측의 대역폭 수요에 따라 가입자측까지 광케이블의 연결을 현실화할 수 있는 기술로서 PON(Pasive Optical Network)구조가 대두되고 있다. 본 연구는 네트워크 시뮬레이션인 OPNET을 사용하여 기존의 망과 가장 호환이 용이한 ethernet 기술을 이용한 PON 구조의 상향링크에서 ONU내에 traffic 타입에 따른 큐잉 알고리즘을 적용하여 QoS(Qualify of Service)를 보장하고자 한다.

In this papre, we describe a recently implemented echo canceller for digital cellular communication of Code Division Multiple Access(CDMA) that features time sharing of digital signal processor(DSP) over four channels in one DSP to reduce per channel costs. In the Public Land Mobile Network(PLMN), it is important to cancel the echo reflected from the Public Switched Telephone Network(PSTN) side. In case of digital mobile system, the round-trip delay of the echo is in excess of about 180 milliseconds due to frame-by-frame voice coding. It is necessary to cancel the echo in PLMN. We have developed a multi-channel echo canceller tht operates with Time Switch Module in a Mobile Switching Center(MSC). The general echo canceller needs PCM trunk interface circuits and the tone detection and disabling circuits, but the multi-channel echo canceller linked with Time Switch Module does not need them. Therefore we could develop the effective and economical echo canceller.

The purpose of this study is to examine the operational performances by the investment level of information security in companies. The theoretical background summarized the meaning of information security, management information security, and network security. The research process was carried out in four stages. As a result of the analysis, the level of information security was classified into four groups, and the difference in operational performance was confirmed. According to the categorical regression analysis of the three dependent variables, independent variables such as network threats, non-network threats, executive information security awareness, industry, organizational size, and information security education all affected information security regulations, in-house information security checks, and information security budget investments. The theoretical implications of this study have contributed to updating the latest information security theory. Practical implications are that rational investments should be made on the level of information security of companies.

This research was to analyze information network which contributed Anyang Venture Valley's development. And mutual communication between regional innovated companies was the essential factor of this growth. Anyang city with its Knowledge Industry Promotion Agency, KIPA, has first set up communication network, facility and other structures to create basis of communication. For that, they were able to operate various networking and promotion of communication which led to the enforcement of regional innovation in venture businesses. During its innovation, KIPA played a key role as a link between regional Innovated companies, which enabled active interactions between them. Government can verify significance of establishing network base with mediation function for lively communication for promoting innovation capability through Anyang Venture Valley's case.

The high-rate Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPANs) which IEEE 802.15.3 standard support, foster the Digital Home Network (DHN) scenarios with high rate multimedia data transmission. Actually, there are a few routing protocols for ad-hoc networks which considered the terminal location information and routing metric to reduce the energy consumption and optimize the routing path in mobile system. Based on other routing protocols, this paper presents the reliable location-based routing algorithm which is an adaptation to these networks.
