금융 프로덕트팩토리를 위한 복합상품 설계시스템의 개발 (A Hybrid Product Design System for Financial Product Factory)

  • 프로덕트팩토리는 온라인 고객을 위한 실시간 금융상품 설계시스템을 의미한다. 복합상품이란 두개의 서로 다른 상품의 속성을 적절히 결합하여 설계한 새로운 상품을 의미한다. 복합상품프로덕트팩토리는 위 두 개념을 결합한 것으로서 두개의 서로 다른 상품을 비즈니스 규칙과 사용자의 요구에 근거하여 적절히 결합하여 새로운 복합상품을 설계하는 프로덕트팩토리를 의미한다. 금융 및 보험 산업에서 자동화된 프로덕트팩토리의 필요성에 대하여 많은 논의는 있었지만 현재까지 이렇다 할 연구 성과는 보이지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서 우리는 복합상품을 설계할 수 있는 프로덕트팩토리를 개발하였다. 복합상품을 설계하기 위해서는 상품의 구조화된 표현 방법이 필요하며, 이렇게 표현된 서로 다른 상품의 속성을 결합하여 복합상품의 속성을 정의 할 수 있는 속성결합방법이 필요하고, 또한 이들 속성의 결합방법을 제어하는 비즈니스 규칙을 표현하기 위한 방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서 우리는 상품을 기술하는데 필요한 네 종류의 속성을 규명하였고, 이들 속성을 결합하기 위한 결합연산자를 개발하였으며, 또한 비즈니스 규칙을 표현하는 방법을 제시하였다. 또한, 본 연구의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 복합상품설계시스템을 구현하여 대출상품에 적용해 보았다.

CMOS-Memristor Hybrid 4-bit Multiplier Circuit for Energy-Efficient Computing

  • In this paper, we propose a CMOS-memristor hybrid circuit that can perform 4-bit multiplication for future energy-efficient computing in nano-scale digital systems. The proposed CMOS-memristor hybrid circuit is based on the parallel architecture with AND and OR planes. This parallel architecture can be very useful in improving the power-delay product of the proposed circuit compared to the conventional CMOS array multiplier. Particularly, from the SPECTRE simulation of the proposed hybrid circuit with 0.13-mm CMOS devices and memristors, this proposed multiplier is estimated to have better power-delay product by 48% compared to the conventional CMOS array multiplier. In addition to this improvement in energy efficiency, this 4-bit multiplier circuit can occupy smaller area than the conventional array multiplier, because each cross-point memristor can be made only as small as $4F^2$.

  • The digital era in the 21st century is globalized and is collapsed boundary among countries, thereby being able to be said to be characterized most largely by proceeding with being a form like a federation and EU. A change into digital era brought about a change in all the aspects of human behavior and culture, not a change simply in temporal significance and technological significance. In recent days, all the services came to be possibly used the integrated device with the same network owing to innovation of communication technology, which is represented by digital, network, and internet. Now, the broadcasting industry, computer industry, and communication industry are exceeding the peculiar sphere by being mutually merged. Each of industrial sector centering on internet is showing the phenomenon of being united. The hybrid trend, which was formed by phenomenon in the complex digital media society, tended to be indicated in fashion and makeup design. As the digital media era was generated, the hybrid trend induced a change into society in open and horizontal idea. It came to be known that there is independent trend in each field even while organically working in the middle of the whole frame that fashion and makeup express a human being's external beauty. This implies that makeup is not what is always influenced by fashion as an accessory in fashion and a supplementary role, but what can show its contrary phenomenon. This study examined characteristics, which are shown in fashion and makeup due to hybrid influence with greeting the digital media era. This study was carried out in order to be conducive to objective data available for giving help to the future direction and marketing data in product of the relevant businesses, through the results of this study.

Educational Framework for Interactive Product Prototyping

  • When the design profession started, design targets were mainly static hardware centered products. Due to the development of network and digital technologies, new products with dynamic and software-hardware hybrid interactive characteristics have become one of the main design targets. To accomplish the new projects, designers are required to learn new methods, tools and theories in addition to the traditional design expertise of visual language. One of the most important tools for the change is effective and rapid prototyping. There have been few researches on educational framework for interactive product or system prototyping to date. This paper presents a new model of educational contents and methods for interactive digital product prototyping, and it's application in a design curricula. The new course contents, integrated with related topics such as physical computing and tangible user interface, include microprocessor programming, digital analogue input and output, multimedia authoring and programming language, sensors, communication with other external devices, computer vision, and movement control using motors. The final project of the course was accomplished by integrating all the exercises. Our educational experience showed that design students with little engineering background could learn various interactive digital technologies and its' implementation method in one semester course. At the end of the course, most of the students were able to construct prototypes that illustrate interactive digital product concepts. It was found that training for logical and analytical thinking is necessary in design education. The paper highlights the emerging contents in design education to cope with the new design paradigm. It also suggests an alterative to reflect the new requirements focused on interactive product or system design projects. The tools and methods suggested can also be beneficial to students, educators, and designers working in digital industries.

  • The instant trend of mobile functionality in the digital age is performing a mediating role of promoting the hybrid tendency in fashion and cosmetics industry. Consumers' needs, which are getting complex and diversified along with development in scientific technology, are requiring product of technology equipped with multi-tasking function in the whole industry. The social and cultural factors, which are shown in cosmetics due to the instant trend of mobile functionality, came to be known on the basis of a ground for classification caused by a change in nomadic lifestyle and by the advance in scientific technology. The irst, The mobile functionality, which is being developed in fashion in the digital age, was indicated to be types such as mobility, one-off, and unity. Second, Even the types of mobile functionality, which are also being developed in make-up and cosmetics in digital age, were indicated to be mobility, one-off, and unity. Third, The trend caused by mobile functionality in fashion was consistent with a type in mobile functionality, which is being developed in cosmetics, thereby having been indicated to be the same type. This implies that there is the same type through independent trend in each sphere even while fashion and cosmetics organically function in the middle of the whole frame, which expresses a human being's external beauty, and implies that even the cosmetics are influenced by fashion. Swift-type beauty product, which is thrown away within one week lengthily and after being used once, are being launched diversely. This quick product can be said to be product that best reflected the characteristic of digital age. However, at this point of time that fast fashion and instant cosmetics, which are thrown away in the wake of being worn easily, are overflowing, the clothing and product with perfection, which has philosophy and thinking of being put more devotion, exert more value and are felt to be necessary.

  • In this paper, we propose a hybrid optical/digital version of the associative memory which improve hardware efficiency and increase convergence rates. Multifocus hololens are used as space-varient optical element for performing inner product and summation function. The real-time input and the stored states of memory matrix is formated using LCTV. One method of adaptively changing the weights of stored vectors during each iteration is implemented electronically. A design for a optical implementation scheme is discussed and the proposed architecture is demonstrated the ability of retrieving with computer simmulation.

Near-Optimal Low-Complexity Hybrid Precoding for THz Massive MIMO Systems

  • Terahertz (THz) communication is becoming a key technology for future 6G wireless networks because of its ultra-wide band. However, the implementation of THz communication systems confronts formidable challenges, notably beam splitting effects and high computational complexity associated with them. Our primary objective is to design a hybrid precoder that minimizes the Euclidean distance from the fully digital precoder. The analog precoding part adopts the delay-phase alternating minimization (DP-AltMin) algorithm, which divides the analog precoder into phase shifters and time delayers. This effectively addresses the beam splitting effects within THz communication by incorporating time delays. The traditional digital precoding solution, however, needs matrix inversion in THz massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication systems, resulting in significant computational complexity and complicating the design of the analog precoder. To address this issue, we exploit the characteristics of THz massive MIMO communication systems and construct the digital precoder as a product of scale factors and semi-unitary matrices. We utilize Schatten norm and Hölder's inequality to create semi-unitary matrices after initializing the scale factors depending on the power allocation. Finally, the analog precoder and digital precoder are alternately optimized to obtain the ultimate hybrid precoding scheme. Extensive numerical simulations have demonstrated that our proposed algorithm outperforms existing methods in mitigating the beam splitting issue, improving system performance, and exhibiting lower complexity. Furthermore, our approach exhibits a more favorable alignment with practical application requirements, underlying its practicality and efficiency.

  • The double-base number system has been used in digital signal processing systems for over a decade because of its fast inner product operation and low hardware complexity. This letter proposes an innovative multiplier architecture using hybrid operands. The multiplier can easily be linked to flash analog-to-digital converters or digital systems through a double-base number encoder (DBNE) for realtime signal processing. The design of the DBNE and the multiplier enable faster digital signal processing and require less hardware resources compared to the binary processing method.

  • 최근 기업은 시장 점유율을 높이기 위하여 고객의 다양한 요구를 반영한 제품을 지속적으로 출시하고 있다. 다양한 기능과 가격, 디자인의 제품이 시장에 출시됨에 따라 사용자는 여러 요인들을 고려하여 선택해야 하는 어려움이 있다. 특히 변화의 속도가 빠른 IT 기기의 경우에는 여러 가지 전문적인 지식까지 필요한 경우가 많아 더욱 더 선택을 어렵게 만든다. 디지털 카메라도 저변이 확대됨에 따라 다양한 종류의 카메라가 출시되고 있으며 카메라를 선택하는 소비자는 카메라의 기능과 가격, 디자인 등을 비교하기 위해 많은 시간과 노력을 투자해야 한다. 본 연구는 IT 기기에 익숙하지 않은 사용자들도 가장 적합한 기기를 추천받을 수 있도록 하기 위하여 다기준 의사결정(MCDM) 기법의 하나인 계층분석과정(AHP) 기법 및 내용기반 필터링과 협업 필터링 기법을 접목한 하이브리드 필터링 기법을 이용하여 개인화된 추천 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

  • A three-dimensional physical part can be fabricated from a three-dimensional digital model in a layer-wise manner via additive manufacturing (AM) technology, which is different from the conventional subtractive manufacturing technology. Numerous studies have been conducted to take advantage of the AM opportunities to penetrate bespoke custom product markets, functional engineering part markets, volatile low-volume markets, and spare part markets. Nevertheless, materials issues, machines issues, product issues, and qualification/certification issues still prevent the AM technology from being extensively adopted in industries. The present study briefly reviews the standard classification, technological structures, industrial applications, technological advances, and qualification/certification activities of the AM technology. The economics, productivity, quality, and reliability of the AM technology should be further improved to pass through the technology adoption lifecycle of innovation technology. The AM technology is continuously evolving through the introduction of PM materials, hybridization of AM and conventional manufacturing technologies, adoption of process diagnostics and control systems, and enhanced standardization of the whole lifecycle qualification and certification methodology.
