An oncology-specific database called OncoRx (http://bit.ly/cancerRx) was previously set up in cyberspace to aid clinicians in identifying interactions of anticancer drugs (ACDs) and chemotherapy regimens with traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) and complementary and alternative medicines (CAMs). Since then, users have requested the drug-CAM interactions (DCIs) of 5 specific CAMs (cranberry, melatonin, co-enzyme Q10, huachansu, reishi mushroom) to be updated in the database. Pharmacokinetic properties (metabolism, enzyme induction/inhibition, elimination), TCM properties and DCIs of each CAM were collated with 117 ACDs using 9 hardcopy compendia and online databases as resources. Additionally, individual ACDs and CAMs were used as keywords for PubMed searches in combination with the terms 'anticancer drugs', 'drug interactions', 'herb-drug/drug-herb interactions', 'pharmacokinetic interactions' and 'pharmacodynamic interactions'. DCI parameters consisted of interaction effects, evidence summaries, proposed management plans and alternative non-interacting CAMs, together with relevant citations and update dates of the DCIs. OncoRx is also used as a case to introduce the "Four Pharmaco-cybernetic Maxims" of quality, quantity, relationship and manner to developers of digital healthcare tools. Its role in Hayne's "5S" hierarchy of research evidence is also presented. OncoRx is meant to complement existing DCI resources for clinicians and alternative medicine practitioners as an additional drug information resource that provides evidence-based DCI information for ACD-CAM interactions.

Digital healthcare combined with telemedicine services in the form of convergence with digital technology and AI is developing rapidly. Digital healthcare research is being conducted on many conditions including shock. However, the causes of shock are diverse, and the treatment is very complicated, requiring a high level of medical knowledge. In this paper, we propose a shock detection method based on the correlation between shock and data extracted from hemodynamic monitoring equipment. From the various parameters expressed by this equipment, four parameters closely related to patient shock were used as the input data for a machine learning model in order to detect the shock. Using the four parameters as input data, that is, feature values, a random forest-based ensemble machine learning model was constructed. The value of the mean arterial pressure was used as the correct answer value, the so called label value, to detect the patient's shock state. The performance was then compared with the decision tree and logistic regression model using a confusion matrix. The average accuracy of the random forest model was 92.80%, which shows superior performance compared to other models. We look forward to our work playing a role in helping medical staff by making recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of complex and difficult cases of shock.
In u-Healthcare environment, large amounts of important vital information is processed through M2M(Machine to Machine). M2M is configured by wireless networks and has several problems for limited bandwidth and low reliability. Therefore, in this paper is proposed a method called uHLZW(u-Healthcare LZW) to improve channel efficiency to solve such problem. uHLZW algorithm has high compression ratio for vital data. The results showed that the average compression ratio of uHLZW got from 1.6 times to 4.0 times better than existing methods(Huffman and LZW compression).

By using the U-Healthcare environment, it is possible to receive the health care services anywhere anytime. However, since the user's personal information can be easily exposed in the U-Healthcare environment, it is necessary to strengthen the security system. This thesis proposes the technique which can be used to protect the personal medical records at hospital safely, in order to avoid the exposure of the user's personal information which can occur due to the frequent usage of the electronic chart according to the computerization process of medical records. In the proposed system, the following two strategies are used: i) In order to reduce the amount of the system load, it is necessary to apply the partial encryption process for electronic charts. ii) Regarding the user's authentication process for each patient, the authentication number for each electronic chart, which is in the encrypted form, is transmitted through the patient's mobile device by the National Health Insurance Corporation, when the patient register his or her application at hospital. Regarding the modern health care services, it is important to protect the user's personal information. The proposed technique will be an important method of protecting the user's information.

The u-Healthcare system, a new paradigm, provides healthcare and medical service anytime, anywhere in daily life using wired and wireless networks. It only doesn't reach u-Hospital at home, to manage efficient personal health in fitness space, it is essential to feedback process through measuring and analyzing a personal vital signs. MBAN(Medical Body Area Network) is a core of this technology. MBAN, a new paradigm of the u-Healthcare system, can provide healthcare and medical service anytime, anywhere on real time in daily life using u-sensor networks. In this paper, an ontology-based context-awareness in MBAN proposed system development methodology. Accordingly, ontology-based context awareness system on MBAN to Elderly/severe patients/aged/, with measured respiratory rate/temperature/pulse and vital signs having small variables through u-sensor network in real-time, discovered abnormal signs and emergency situations which may happen to people at sleep or activity, alarmed and connected with members of a family or medical emergency alarm(Emergency Call) and 119 system to avoid sudden accidents for early detection. Therefore, We have proposed that accuracy of biological signal sensing and the confidence of ontology should be inspected.

With the increased attention about healthcare and management of heart diseases, smart healthcare services and related devices have been actively developed recently. R wave is the largest representative signal among ECG signals. R wave detection is very important because it detects QRS pattern and classifies arrhythmia. Several R wave detection algorithms have been proposed with different features, but the remaining problem is their implementation in low-cost portable platforms for real-time applications. In this paper, we propose R wave detection based on optimal threshold and arrhythmia classification through QRS pattern considering complexity in smart healthcare environments. For this purpose, we detected R wave from noise-free ECG signal through the preprocessing method. Also, we classify premature ventricular contraction arrhythmia in realtime through QRS pattern. The performance of R wave detection and premature ventricular contraction arrhythmia classification is evaluated by using 9 record of MIT-BIH arrhythmia database that included over 30 premature ventricular contraction. The achieved scores indicate the average of 98.72% in R wave detection and the rate of 94.28% in PVC classification.

Most wearable system for mobile healthcare applications consists of three parts. The first part is the sensing elements based on bio-signal, the second is the circuit module for control, data acquisition and wireless communication and control and the third is garment with a built-in electrodes and circuits. The existing healthcare garment systems have to find a solution to signal-wire and uncomfortable and inappropriate electrode to long-term attachment. Even if the wireless communication is used for healthcare garment system, the interface between sensors and circuits have to use wires. To solve these problems, this paper use electrode using PEDOT coated PVDF nanoweb for ECG signal and PVDF film sensor for respiratory signal. And, we constructed garment network using digital yarn of 10um, and transmitted ECG and respiratory signal to mobile phone through the integrated circuit with bluetooth called station To evaluate feasibility of the proposed mobile healthcare garment system, we experimented with transmission and measurement of ECG and respiratory signal using nanoweb electrode and digital yarn. We got a successful result without noise and attenuation.
