  • With the rapid improvement of the internet and information technology, digital contents containing knowledge and information resource is circulated through the internet. A circulation system based on a standardized identifier is required to share this kind of information, generated from seminars and workshops conducted in the area of science and technology and saved in the form of digital video contents. The main objective of this study is on constructing an information circulation system based on the KOI identifier to effectively share the digital video contents produced from seminars and workshops related to the area of science and technology. Furthermore, the overview and status of a standardized identifier, and the functional aspects of the system such as the methods to apply the KOI identification system on the subject and its slides of digital video contents, a digital video contents management system, a centralized identifier management system, and the methods applied for the search of digital video metadata have been suggested to support construction of the information circulation system.

  • With the rapid growth of information technology and the internet. the physical contents are transformed into digital contents at a fast rate. With the change. accessing the digital contents, toe service methods and the identifier used for the digital contents are not systematic and limited for use. The DOI identifier system used for the URN is also limited to academic journals or magazines and are not adequately applicable for non-academic journal or digital contents. Therefore. we have developed a unique identifier based on the analysis made on the system adopted by foreign digital contents service institutes. two types of academic journals 3 types of non-academic journals owned by KISTI that can be adopted by non-academic journals. The identifier is to be used to design and implement a digital contents service system.

The regenerated information and contents through digital technology conveys correct information of ancient art and helps audiences appreciate it, as well as it also stores accurate information and can be used for restoration and preservation of the work. In this study, the range of digital restoration was defined in three directions, and the exhibition of digital content with an ancillary role that can be useful the understanding of the heritage of nature and mankind using digital technology was defined as the range of digital restoration. In addition, the Ojukheon Museum in Kangneung and The Museum of Natural History in New York, which installed various digital displays to analyze and compare the types of digital display exhibitions used for digital restoration of the range, were described as examples. Through this, it was discovered that digital display exhibitions for digital restoration can effectively deliver information and stimulate participation and interest of visitors in the museums, which is able to be a positive way to preserve the heritage of nature and mankind.

  • The usage of DRM-applied digital contents reduces user's convenience, thus it leads the many users to avoid using DRM-applied digital contents. In this paper, therefore, we propose the new distribution model in which the users, who purchase the DRM-applied digital contents, can resale freely those contents to the other users. As a result, the proposed model induces the users to distribute contents soundly by including them in one of distribution objects. For the purpose of this, in this paper, we propose that a packaged content and usage rights are transferred to another user by using a method which based on some existing digital ticket or coupon. In addition, the security of the proposed system is discussed for the double transfer, the forgery and the modification of usage rights, and the reproduction of contents and usage rights.
