This paper addresses the nonparametric Bayesian estimation for the exponential populations under type II censoring. The Dirichlet process prior is used to provide nonparametric Bayesian estimates of parameters of exponential populations. In the past, there have been computational difficulties with nonparametric Bayesian problems. This paper solves these difficulties by a Gibbs sampler algorithm. This procedure is applied to a real example and is compared with a classical estimator.

To measure motor evoked potentials (MEP) during emergency surgery is often difficult in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) from a ruptured cerebral aneurysm, The cause of these difficulties may be considered as damage to the motor pathway by hemorrhage. To identify the cause of difficulties in measuring MEP, we defined the association between motor evoked potentials during surgery and the severity of the hemorrhage in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage.

Many organizations are currently adjusting the statistical forecasts with qualitative factors. However, so for a few forecasting system with adjustment process have been developed. They have difficulties in managing knowledge and estimating the quantity of adjustment. In this study, the forecasting support system adopting the frame based knowledge representation and containing the decision making scheme for adjustment is proposed to overcome these difficulties. According to the experiments, the proposed system improves the forecasting performance on gasoline case.

The purpose of the present study is to examine shearing mechanism through rigidplastic finite element analysis. Difficulties arise in simulating shearing process due tothe narrow shear band formation andlackof proper fracture resolve these difficulties by using adaptive mesh generation crriterion. The simulation results are obtained for various punch clearances and these are compared with existing experimental results. It is shown that FEM simulation technique can be used to further understand the shearing mechanism.

Synopsis-The difficulties of immunological nonienclature are discussed, the term ALLERGY defined and the various types of HYPERSENSITIVITY reactions are listed and characterized. Evidence for the association of Type I and Type 11 hypersensitivity reactions with COSMETICS is discussed. A table of cosmetic ingredients which have been implicated as SENSITIZERS are given. PREDICTIVE PATCH TESTS for contact sensitizers on GUINEA-PIGS and man are evaluated. The difficulties of testing for ALLERGENS likely to produce Type I hypersensitivity are discussed. IN VITRO tests for sensitizers are mentioned. The failure of all standard tests in the detection of weak sensitizers is emphasized.asized.

Today, L.P. model has often been used in solving economic and managemental phenomena. But in case of adopting L.P. model in dealing with practical economic and managemental problems there is a possibility that we have difficulties in solving these problems because of greatness of model size, cost for collecting data, cost for adjusting matrix, and etc. In this respect "Decomposition Algorithm for L.P." has been used in overcoming the difficulties above stated. In this paper therefore, I will try to introduce and them criticize Dantzig -Wolfe's "Decomposition Method" and Kornai - Liptak's "Two - Level Planning".ot;Two - Level Planning".uot;.

Pain is one of the most common causes of disability and work loss. However, patients with chronic pain have not been regarded as impaired persons in the Republic of Korea because of a lack of objective findings in those patients and difficulties in validating their genuine suffering and quantitative evaluation of pain. Here, the difficulties in the evaluation of impairment in chronic pain patients are discussed. In addition, guidelines for rating impairment in chronic pain patients, which are under development by the Korean Academy of Medical Sciences, are introduced.

There are always some difficulties to discriminate artificial exlposions from micro-earthquakes, furthermore more difficulties to identify and determine decoupled explosions and/or multiple explosions from micro-earthquakes. In this study we use the synthetic seismogram of the in homogeneous models between the source and the observation station in order to find the source effect of the geological environment. We have found some source characteristics of the air-filled and/or water-filled cavity that we can hardly see P-n and S- waves arrivals and that the high frequency coda waves are well observed compared to the coupled explosions or earthquakes.

본 연구는 외국인근로자 직업능력개발을 위하여, 외국인근로자를 대상으로 사전교육, 사후 지원에 대한 요구를 분석하고, 효과적인 외국인근로자 교육훈련 방법론으로 e-Learning의 도입 및 활용에 대한 가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 총 1,872명의 외국인 근로자가 본 조사에 참여하였다. 조사 내용은 첫째, 사전교육의 운영 실태, 문제점, 개선사항, 둘째, 사후지원 측면에서 직장 배치 후 교육 참여 의사와 애로사항, 셋째, e-Learning에 대한 선호도, 요구 등이었다. 연구결과, 사전교육에서 다양한 문제점이 제시되었으며, 사후지원에서 외국인근로자들은 직장생활을 하면서 교육을 받고자 하는 높은 의지를 가지고 있으나, 시간 부족, 이동 등의 문제를 애로사항으로 꼽았다. 이들은 e-Learning에 대한 높은 선호도와 요구를 보였다. 이에 작업장 이탈의 어려움을 해소시키고 상이한 교육 조건 및 수준에 따른 맞춤식의 개별화된 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 e-Learning의 가능성과 필요성이 제안되었다.
