Efficiency Analysis for Differential Power Processing Converter Configurations in Photovoltaic Electric Vehicles (태양광 발전차량의 차동전력 조절기 배열에 따른 효율분석)

  • 최근 전기자동차(EV)의 수요가 높아짐에 따라, 그와 관련된 연구가 많이 진행되고 있다. 특히 기존 EV dc-bus에 쉽게 결합할 수 있는 photovoltaic-전기자동차(PV-EV)의 개발이 진행되었지만, 낮은 시스템 효율로 인해 상용화에 어려움을 겪었다. PV-EV의 특성상 태양광 시스템이 불균일한 태양빛의 변화에 노출되기 때문에, 차동전력 조절기(differential power processing (DPP) 컨버터)가 없는 기존의 시스템에서는 시스템 효율이 매우 저하된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 본 연구에서 차동전력 조절기가 적용된 PV-EV 시스템을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 차동전력 조절기 시스템의 새로운 배열인 DPP to Load 배열을 제안하며 기존의 차동전력 조절기 시스템 배열과 비교분석 하였다. 또한 각각의 차동전력 조절기 배열에서 태양빛의 세기, 보조 부하의 크기, 컨버터의 효율을 변화시키며 각 배열의 시스템 효율을 비교하였다. 주어진 대부분의 조건에서 가장 높은 시스템 효율을 보여준 배열은 Isolated bus 배열 이었다. 맑은 날, 모든 컨버터의 효율은 85%, 보조부하가 250 W라고 가정하였을 때, Isolated bus 배열은 가장 높은 시스템 효율인 74%의 효율을 나타내었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 전압 밸런싱을 위한 부스트-포워드 컨버터를 이용한 피드백 방식 차동전력조절(DPP, Differential Power Processing) 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 서로 직렬 연결된 태양광패널을 입력으로 연결된 상태에서 DPP 컨버터가 각 태양광패널에 병렬로 연결된다. 또한 DPP 컨버터의 출력도 직렬로 연결되고 전체는 부스트 컨버터에 의해 통합되어 최종적으로 인버터를 통해 계통 및 기타 시스템에 연결된다. 이러한 구조의 DPP 시스템은 태양광패널 중의 한 부분에 그늘짐 현상이 발생할 경우 DPP 컨버터의 출력에 영향을 미치게 되어 전압불균형이 발생한다. 이는 전체 시스템의 효율과 인버터와 같은 계통과 연결 시 정상작동 여부에 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있기 때문에 DPP 컨버터 출력부의 전압 밸런싱을 수행하는 회로가 필요하다. 제안하는 회로는 이러한 DPP 시스템에서 적용할 수 있는 부스트-포워드 컨버터를 이용한 전압 밸런싱 회로이다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 이용하였다.

Formulating Analytical Solution of Network ODE Systems Based on Input Excitations

  • The concepts of graph theory are applied to model and analyze dynamics of computer networks, biochemical networks and, semantics of social networks. The analysis of dynamics of complex networks is important in order to determine the stability and performance of networked systems. The analysis of non-stationary and nonlinear complex networks requires the applications of ordinary differential equations (ODE). However, the process of resolving input excitation to the dynamic non-stationary networks is difficult without involving external functions. This paper proposes an analytical formulation for generating solutions of nonlinear network ODE systems with functional decomposition. Furthermore, the input excitations are analytically resolved in linearized dynamic networks. The stability condition of dynamic networks is determined. The proposed analytical framework is generalized in nature and does not require any domain or range constraints.

An Experimental Study on Measurement of Chemical Kinetic Parameters of a Liquid Fuel with Various Components (혼합 액체 연료의 화학반응 인자 계측에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • Thermal analyses are conducted to measure chemical kinetic parameters of an unknown liquid fuel with various components. Thermal Analyses are divided into two different methods such as TGA(Thermo-Gravimetric Analysis) and DSC(Differential Scanning Calorimety). Non-isothermal experimental results are analyzed by adopting TGA and they are filtered by Freeman-Carroll method. As a results of the analysis, chemical parameters of the activation temperature and the reaction order are measured to be 6128.2 K and 1.4, respectively. Furthermore, the chemical kinetic parameters are obtained by a variety of mathematical processing methods. It has been found that they show a little difference depending on the processing method.

  • Energy harvesting technology is drawing attention as a means of collecting various eco-friendly energy and accumulating residual energy. Recently, differential power processing (DPP) is being developed as part of energy harvesting. This is being studied as a solution to the loss of power generation between power modules and the problems caused by module small losses depending on the size of power production. In this paper, we propose the necessity of the DPP by comparing and analyzing energy harvesting related module integration system and power supply efficiency of DPP. The power efficiency of the converter and the power difference between the wind power and the photovoltaic power supply have been changed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system.

  • In general there occur warpage in one way long part. Warpage is caused by differential shrinkage-Orientation Effect, Volumetric Shrinkage Effect, Differential Cooling Effect -over the part. Deco-Top is located at the top of 29"TV set and it's shape is one way long$(626{\times}130mm)$. Material is used transparency ABS resin. So we can't design ribs in this part. And we use film gate to avoid weld line. In these reasons we must develop no ribs and no warpage product. In this study we use MOLDFLOW's software-MF/FLOW, MF/COOL, MF/WARP. Using MF/FLOW, set the flow balance and gate positioning. And we can set cooling channel layout and the optimum processing condition through MF/COOL and MF/WARP. In result we reduced trials and obtained good product.

  • Glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites were manufactured by Rapid Press Consolidation Technique(RPCT) as functions of temperature, pressure and time in pre-heating, consolidation and solidification sections during the manufacturing processing. It was found that the material property is greatly affected by pre-heating temperature under vacuum, mold temperature and molding pressure. Among them, the temperature In the mold was the most critical factor in determining the mechanical properties and the molded conditions of specimen. The crystallinity of PET matrix was also investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) measurements for various processing conditions. The level of crystallinity($X_c$) depended strongly on the mold temperature, cooling rate and the type of composite. The difference in $X_c$ is believed to be one of important factors in characterizing the mechanical properties.

  • 본 논문은 태양광 발전 시스템의 차동 전력 조절 방식 중 Feed-Foward 방식을 적용한 다중 출력 플라이백 컨버터를 이용하여 DC_Link 다중 출력 전압을 균등화 하는 회로에 대한 내용이다. DC_Link가 여러 단으로 되어 있을 경우, 전압을 일정하게 맞추어 줄 필요가 있는데, 이를 차동 전력 조절기(Differential Power Processing converter)를 통해서 DC_Link 출력 전압을 균등화 할 수 있다. 스트링 컨버터인 부스트 컨버터의 스트링 전류를 제어 하여 부스트 컨버터의 전력과 DPP역할을 하는 다중 출력 플라이백 컨버터로 전달되는 전력을 조정가능하다. 이를 통하여 전압 균등화가 이루어지게 할 수 있고, 각 DPP 컨버터는 PV 전압 제어를 하여 MPPT 동작을 하게 된다. PSIM 시뮬레이션과 150W급 하드웨어 프로토타입을 제작해 실험을 통하여 검증 하였다.

  • Heart sound contains rich information regarding the dynamics of the heart and the auscultation has been a first choice of routine procedures for diagnosis of the heart. However, heart sounds captured using a conventional stethoscope are not often loud or clear enough for doctors to precisely classify their characteristics, especially, under the noisy environments of the hospital. A simple auscultation device that removed shortcomings of the conventional stethoscope was constructed in the study. The device employed a polymer based adherent differential output sensor which was on contact with skin through a coupling medium and appropriated electronic circuits for signal amplification and conditioning. An ordinary headphone is taken to hear the captured heart sounds and the volume can be adjusted to hear well. It is also possible that the device sends the captured heart sound signals to a PC where the signals are further processed and viualized.

Triqubit-State Measurement-Based Image Edge Detection Algorithm

  • Aiming at the problem that the gradient-based edge detection operators are sensitive to the noise, causing the pseudo edges, a triqubit-state measurement-based edge detection algorithm is presented in this paper. Combing the image local and global structure information, the triqubit superposition states are used to represent the pixel features, so as to locate the image edge. Our algorithm consists of three steps. Firstly, the improved partial differential method is used to smooth the defect image. Secondly, the triqubit-state is characterized by three elements of the pixel saliency, edge statistical characteristics and gray scale contrast to achieve the defect image from the gray space to the quantum space mapping. Thirdly, the edge image is outputted according to the quantum measurement, local gradient maximization and neighborhood chain code searching. Compared with other methods, the simulation experiments indicate that our algorithm has less pseudo edges and higher edge detection accuracy.
