지역난방 사용자기계실 내 열수송관 차압을 이용한 발전 및 제어 기술 (Power Generation and Control System Using Differential Pressure of District Heating Pipeline in a Substation)

  • 지역난방 열수송관을 통해 중온수를 공급할 때 고압의 중온수로부터 열사용자 설비(지역난방 열교환기)를 보호하고 온도조절을 원활히 하고 유체의 원거리 공급을 위해 차압유량조절밸브를 통해 압력을 조절하거나 압력을 감소시키고 있다. 하지만, 고압 유체 사용에 따라 압력조절밸브에서 캐비테이션이 발생하여 잦은 고장 및 오작동을 유발하여 많은 문제가 발생하고 있으며, 사업자 및 사용자 모두에게 에너지 손실 및 민원 유발 등의 원인이 되고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 연구 중인 1차측 차압유량조절밸브를 수력터빈으로 대체하여 차압에너지를 전기에너지로 변환하고, 전기를 2차측 펌프의 동력으로 활용하는 에너지 절감기술을 소개하고자 한다.

자동차용 PCV밸브내 유통특성에 의한 밸브응력 및 변형에 미치는 입출구 차압의 영향 (The Effect of In-Outlet Differential Pressure on a Valve Body Stress and Deformation by the Blow-by Gas Flow Characteristic in the PCV valve for Automobile)

  • PCV(Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve acts as a flow control valve to get a re-combustion of blow-by gas by having it flow from a crankcase to an inlet manifold suction tube. The blow-by gas of the crankcase should be eliminated or taken properly because it cause corrosion to critical parts, and contributes to increase crankcase pressure that can cause a drop in efficiency. The excessive stress and strain on the PCV valve that remove these harmful gas would be bring the difficult on the flow rate control and failure of the valve. Those condition inevitably induce the accident. Therefore, this study purpose is FEM evaluation of the stresses and deformation in the X3 PCV model according to the change of the differential pressure between inlet and outlet. From results, the maximum equivalent stresses increased linearly according to the increase of the differential pressure at the about 50mm from the inlet position and were under the yield strength of the valve. And the deformations were relatively small regardless of the in-outlet differential pressure variation.

  • The biosafety laboratory HVAC control technology may be applied in order to protect contamination of the researcher, supervisor and to prevent diffusion of biological pollution. In this study, a biosafety level, general configuration of control system, differential pressure control, distributed control system and network structure were discussed. These systems able to increase laboratory safety and efficiency of HVAC system.

가변용량형 피스톤 펌프의 안정적인 유량/압력제어를 위한 설계보상 (A Design Compensation for Stable Flow/Pressure Control of Variable Displacement Type Piston Pump)

  • Variable displacement type piston pump uses various controllers for controlling more than one state quantity like pressure, flow, power, and so on. These controllers need the mathematical model closely expressing dynamic behavior of pump for analyzing the stability of control systems which usually use various kinds of state variables. This paper derives the nonlinear mathematical model for variable displacement type piston pump. This model consists of two 1st oder differential equations by the continuity equations and one 2nd oder differential equation by the motion equation. To simplify the model we obtain the linear state variable model by differentiating the three nonlinear equations. And we verify this linearized model by comparison of simulation with experimentation and analyze the stability for the flow/pressure control. Finally this paper suggests the design compensation to ensure the stability of the systems.

  • Recently, atmospheric contaminations has become worse due to the increased number of automobile. The PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve acts as a flow control to allow re-combustion of blow-by gas by having it flow from a crankcase to an inlet manifold suction tube. Also, during the fabrication of the PCV valve, micro cracks may occur in the valve body and be extended under operation. The excessive stress distribution and crack initiation on the PCV valve body would bring an unstable blow-by gas flow rate control and would cause valve failure. The purpose of this study is to examine the crack affects on the stress and strain variations on the PCV valve according to the inlet and outlet manifold under differential pressures. From the results, we can explain the behavior of the crack extension for a safe condition of PCV valve.

화재시 제연 및 피난을 위한 기능성 차압 조절장치 개발에 관한 연구 (The Development of a Functional Pressure Controller in Smoke Management Systems for the Fire Safety of Buildings)

  • The smoke and toxic gases generated from the building fires are proved to cause human death. Therefore, the necessity and significance of smoke control have been emphasized, and lots of studies for developing improved smoke management system have been carried out. In this study, the experiments were conducted to evaluated a function and performance in newly developed smoke management system using mechanical pressurization. As a result of this experiment, the differential pressure was 40Pa${\sim}$60Pa and the air velocity through the door was 0.7m/s between safety zone and fire zone. The functional pressure control equipment which could make proper pressure and maintain differential pressure between safety zone and fire zone was developed. And it will give a lot of helps to evacuation activity for peoples in building and fire fighting.

보일러 급수펌프용 1500lb 고차압 제어밸브 유량시험 및 수치해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Flow Coefficient Test and Numerical Analysis about 1500lb High-Pressure Drop Control Valve for Boiler Feedwater Pump)

  • Before making a prototype, we predicted the inlet/outlet differential pressure and flow coefficient, which are the most basic design data for the valve through the design and numerical analysis of the trim, which is the most important in the localization development of the 1500Ib high differential pressure control valve used for boiler feed water. As a result, the design value and the analysis value were found to be about 98% similar. The flow field within the fluid velocity of 23m/s to prevent cavitation was also found. The result of the numerical analysis on thermal stress due to the characteristics of valves exposed to high temperatures showed that it was found to be about 18% less than the allowable stress of the bolt fixing the trim. When all loads such as pressure, self-weight, and vibration are applied, however, it is judged to go beyond the currently calculated thermal stress, exceeding the allowable stress.

제연구역 출입문의 차압 및 개방력 측정기준의 실효성 분석에 관한 연구 (Study on the Analysis of Differential Pressure of the Access Door for a Smoke Control Zone and the Effectiveness of the Measurement Criteria of its Opening Force)

  • 본 연구에서는 화재실과 인접부 제연구역의 차압 및 방화문의 개방력을 측정할 때의 문제점을 분석하고, 객관적인 방법에 의해 측정된 실측값을 제시하는데 있다. NFSC 501A의 제연설비 가동 시 출입문의 개방에 필요한 힘은 110 N 이하로 규정하고 있다. 제연설비가 설치된 공간에서 제연설비가 작동하지 않을 때는 KS F 2805의 시험방법에 의해서 개방력의 측정이 가능하지만 제연설비가 작동되었을 때는 화재실과 제연실의 차압에 의해 발생되는 추가적인 힘이 필요하므로 기준에서 제시하는 시험방법은 신뢰성이 부족함을 알 수 있다. 제연설비 가동 전 완전히 폐쇄된 상태의 개방력은 아날로그측정기($F_a$) 27.8 N, 디지털측정기($F_d$) 27.4 N을 각각 나타냈다. 그리고 문이 $5^{\circ}$ 개방된 상태의 개방력 $F_a$는 33 N, $F_d$는 33.6 N을 나타냈다. 제연설비가 작동되고 완전히 폐쇄된 상태의 개방력 $F_a$는 45.3 N, $F_d$는 46.9 N을 나타냈고, 문이 $5^{\circ}$ 개방된 상태의 개방력 $F_a$는 77.6 N, $F_d$는 76.0 N 등으로 확인되었다. 따라서 현재의 KS F 2805에서 제시하고 있는 기준과 상이하므로 적절한 기준의 검토가 요구된다.

유압식 어로 윈치 시뮬레이터의 동적 거동 특성 (Dynamic Characteristics of a Hydraulic Fishing Winch Simulator)

  • To meet the increasing demand from various fishing fields for training of fishing equipment operators, a fishing winch simulator was designed to train maritime students in the correct and safe operation of hydraulic winches under various load conditions related to fishing operations. The aim of this study is to describe the basic dynamic characteristics of the newly developed hydraulic fishing winch simulator and particularly to analyze the mechanical responses produced on the winch operation controls. The winch simulator consists of two winch units, a computer control and data acquisition system, a control consol and other associated mechanisms. When one winch is in hauling mode, the other one will always be in loading mode. The revolution speed of the hauling winch was controlled by a proportional directional control valve, and the braking torque of the loading winch was controlled by a proportional pressure control valve. The simulation experiments indicated that the dynamic characteristics of the hauling winch followed the braking response characteristics of the loading winch. The tests also showed that the warp speed and tension linearly depend on the pressure differential across the motor of the loading winch controlled by operating the proportional pressure control valve during the hauling operation. The experience gained from various training courses showed that the fishing winch simulator was very realistic and it was valuable for training novice winch operators. The results of the winch simulation exercise were recorded and used to evaluate the training on the operation and handling of the winch system. From these test results, we concluded that the tension acting on the warp during hauling operations can successfully be simulated by controlling the pressure differential across the motor with step changes of the control input signal to the proportional pressure control valve of the loading winch.

  • Recently, it is required that the automotive air conditioning system must keep the cabin temperature comfortable in spite of engine speed, and Improve the fuel consumption during all the seasons. To satisfy these requirements, the variable displacement swash plate type compressor with control pressure valve is developed. In this study, the effects of two type valves, suction pressure control valve and differential pressure control valve, on the performance of swash plate type compressor has been investigated experimentally.
