손목형 생체신호수집 장치에 대한 연구 (A Study on Wrist Band Type Vital Sign Acquisition Device)

  • In this study, we proposed a new method that can be measure ECG (Electrocardiography) and PPG (Photoplethysmography) in realtime on the site of the wrist for check the state of health in daily life. For convenience measurement of ECG the lead I method was used on the wrist, and omit the reference junction ECG I was measured in the right hand and the left hand of the potential difference. Then the measured electrocardiogram was amplified by the differential amplifier and the signals were passed HPF, LPF, and BPF filters. For removing the PPG's noise from the Motion artifact and temperature, we apply the reflective photoelectric volume pulse wave measurement method using green LED as a light source. The circuits was designed to be able to check the waveform using higher active amplification method at weak signals. For the validation of our device, the measured signals were compared with E2-KIT on same time. The results shows that the error does not exceed the maximum one, most of the data is confirmed to be issued Peak inspection of the same number.

1-Bit Interpolation을 이용한 Per-Channel CPCM부호화방식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Per-Channel CPCM Method by means of the 1-Bit Interpolation)

  • 본 논문에서는 A/D, D/A 변환의 한 방식인 1-bit interpolation 방법을 개선, 보완한 1-bit interpolation per-channel u-law companding PCM변환방법을 제시하고 실험회로를 구성하여 이의 동작을 확인하였다. 실험회로는 시중에서 입수하기 수월한 소자들인 TTl, logic IC 및 741 OP Amp 등으로 구성하였다. 실험결과로서는 40dB에 걸친 입력 dynamic range와 40dB 이상의 출력 dynamic range를 얻을 수 있었다. 본 논문에서 제시한 per-channel A/D, D/A변환기는 현용의 공통 codec의 단점을 충분히 보완시킬 수 있을 뿐 아니라 다중화에 있어서도 상당한 잇점을 지니고 있다.

  • This paper deals with the behaviors of magnetic flux density near down-conductors by lightning currents. The background on the principle of magnetic flux density measurements using the RL self-integrating magnetic field sensor was described. The magnetic flux density measuring device consisting of RL self-integrating magnetic field sensor and differential amplifier was designed and fabricated. The frequency bandwidth of the magnetic flux density measuring system ranges from 200 Hz to 300 KHz and the response sensitivity was 0.126 $\mu$T/㎷ The distributions of the magnetic flux density near down-conductors due to impulse currents with various rise times were analyzed as a parameter of the bonding conditions and materials of conductor and wiring conduits. The magnetic flux density due to impulse currents was inversely proportional to the distance between the down-conductor and measuring point. The amplitude of the magnetic flux density for PVC Pipe with down-conductor was 72 $\mu$T/㎷ at the distance of 1m and was higher than for steel conduits and coaxial cable. Finally the magnetic flux density is increased with increasing the di/dt it and oscillation frequency of lightning currents in this experimental ranges.

USB Driver 전송시스템 기반의 맥파 측정 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on Pulse Wave Measurement System Based on USB Driver Transmission System)

  • The period and strength of the pulse on the radial artery are important physiological factors, and they have been used to diagnosis in both Western and Eastern countries for a long time and has been developed as a unique method of diagnosis at each countries. Recently, there are a lot of systems which can give diagnosis information by recording the pulse wave and analyzing the characteristics of the pulse shape. This study describes the Pulse-Wave Measurement System which is able to measure the pulse wave signal using piezoresistive sensor and the pulse wave signal measured by the developed system is transmitted to a computer on the basis of the USB Driver. It has finally shown the the pulse wave signal measured by the sender is appeared to the host PC in real time. The Pulse-Wave Measurement System used the piezoresistive sensor to measure the pulse wave signal and the differential amplifier(AD620) to amplify the pulse wave signal which is small signal. And it used the ADC to convert analog to digital for the measured analog signal and the interface with a computer. It transmitted the measured pulse signal through USB transmission module to the host computer and Labview tool shows it. This Pulse-Wave measurement system will afford comvenience of detecting pulse wave to user related to oriental medicine.

A Differential Voltage-controlled Oscillator as a Single-balanced Mixer

  • This paper proposes a low power radio frequency receiver front-end where, in a single stage, single-balanced mixer and voltage-controlled oscillator are stacked on top of low noise amplifier and re-use the dc current to reduce the power consumption. In the proposed topology, the voltage-controlled oscillator itself plays the dual role of oscillator and mixer by exploiting a series inductor-capacitor network. Using a 65 nm complementary metal oxide semiconductor technology, the proposed radio frequency front-end is designed and simulated. Oscillating at around 2.4 GHz frequency band, the voltage-controlled oscillator of the proposed radio frequency front-end achieves the phase noise of -72 dBc/Hz, -93 dBc/Hz, and -113 dBc/Hz at 10KHz, 100KHz, and 1 MHz offset frequency, respectively. The simulated voltage conversion gain is about 25 dB. The double-side band noise figure is -14.2 dB, -8.8 dB, and -7.3 dB at 100 KHz, 1 MHz and 10 MHz offset. The radio frequency front-end consumes only 96 ㎼ dc power from a 1-V supply.

Nondestructive Evaluation of Residual Life of 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V Steel by Reversible Magnetic Permeability

  • We present a new procedure to evaluate the residual life of 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V steel by reversible magnetic permeability. The method is based on the existence of the first harmonics in the differential magnetization around the coercive force. The apparatus is based on the detection of the voltage induced in a coil using a lock-in amplifier tuned to a frequency of the exciting one. Results obtained for the first harmonics and Vickers hardness on the aged samples show that the peak interval of reversible permeability and Vickers hardness decrease as ageing time increases. The correlation between Vickers hardness and the peak interval of the reversible permeability could well be used to evaluate the residual life of 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V steel, nondestructively.

40MHz에서 1.6 dB 최소잡음지수를 얻는 잡음소거 기술에 근거한 광대역 저항성 LNA (Wideband Resistive LNA based on Noise-Cancellation Technique Achieving Minimum NF of 1.6 dB for 40MHz)

  • This Paper presents a resistive wideband fully differential low-noise amplifier (LNA) designed using a noise-cancellation technique for TV tuner applications. The front-end of the LNA employs a cascode common-gate (CG) configuration, and cross-coupled local feedback is employed between the CG and common-source (CS) stages. The moderate gain at the source of the cascode transistor in the CS stage is utilized to boost the transconductance of the cascode CG stage. This produces higher gain and lower noise figure (NF) than a conventional LNA with inductor. The NF can be further optimized by adjusting the local open-loop gain, thereby distributing the power consumption among the transistors and resistors. Finally, an optimized DC gain is obtained by designing the output resistive network. The proposed LNA, designed in SK Hynix 180 nm CMOS, exhibits improved linearity with a voltage gain of 10.7 dB, and minimum NF of 1.6-1.9 dB over a signal bandwidth of 40 MHz to 1 GHz.

하전입자의 측정을 위한 다중선 비례계수기와 전치증폭기의 설계 제작 (Design and Construction of Multi-wire Proportional Counter and Preamplifier for Measurement of Charged Particle)

  • 본 연구에서는 방사선/능의 측정을 위하여 감응 면적이 큰 다중선 비례계수기를 양극선의 지름과 재칠 그리고 선공간을 고려하여 설계 제작하였다. 또한 비례계수기에서 출력하는 펄스를 측정하기 위하여 검출기와 주증폭기 또는 카운터 사이에 연결하는 전치증폭기를 설계 제작하였다. 본 전치증폭기는 전하감응 미분회로, 클리핑회로 그리고 증폭회로로 구성하였다. 이들에 대한 성능시험을 위하여 $^{239}Pu(360Bq)$$^{90}Sr/^{90}Y(250Bq)$의 방사선원을 사용하여 동작전압을 결정한 다음 전치증폭기로부터의 최종 출력펄스 $V_2(t)$를 측정하여 출력펄스에 포함되어 계수시에 영향을 미치는 잡음성분과 비교하였다. 잡음성분은 8mV로 조사선원 각각에 의한 출력펄스 180mV와 200 mV 보다 상당히 작아 계수시 이에 대한 영향은 없었다. 전하감응 미분회로의 출력펄스에서 발생된 중첩펄스는 클리핑 회로와 증폭회로에서 시정수와 증폭도를 변화시키므로서 독립된 펄스로 측정하였으며, 이로 인한 측정손실을 개선할 수 있었다.

두 개의 공통 게이트 FET를 이용한 캐스코드형 CMOS 저잡음 증폭기의 후치 선형화 기법 (Post-Linearization Technique of CMOS Cascode Low Noise Amplifier Using Dual Common Gate FETs)

  • 본 논문은 두 개의 공통 게이트 증폭단을 사용한 캐스코형 CMOS 저잡음 증폭기의 후치 선형화 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 두 개의 공통 게이트 FET 단을 사용하며, 한 FET는 공통 소스단에서 전달된 전류 성분 중 선형 전류 성분만을 부하에 전달하고, 다른 한 단은 3차 혼변조 전류를 흡수하도록 동작한다. 선형 전류 성분과 혼변조 전류 성분을 선택적으로 분류하기 위해 $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정에서 제공되는 후막 (thick oxide) FET를 혼변조 전류 흡수용 FET로, 박막 (thin oxide) FET를 선형 전류 버퍼로 사용하였다. 제안된 방법을 검증하기 위해 $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정을 이용하여 2.14GHz에서 동작하는 저잡음 증폭기를 설계하였다. 제작된 차동 증폭기는 1.8V 전원에서 12.4mA를 소모하며, 측정 결과로 11 dBm IIP3, 15.5 dB 전력이득, 그리고 2.85 dB 잡음지수를 특성을 얻었다. 이는 후치 선형화가 없는 회로에 비해 7.5dB의 $IIP_{3}$ 개선된 결과이다.

초광대역 통신시스템 응용을 위한 이중채널 6b 1GS/s 0.18um CMOS ADC (A Dual-Channel 6b 1GS/s 0.18um CMOS ADC for Ultra Wide-Band Communication Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 초광대역 통신시스템 응용을 위한 이중채널 6b 1GS/s A/D 변환기 (ADC)를 제안한다. 제안하는 ADC는 IGS/s의 신호처리속도에서 전력, 칩 면적 및 정확도를 최적화하기 위해 인터폴레이션 기반의 6b 플래시 ADC 회로로 구성되며, 입력 단에 광대역 열린 루프 구조의 트랙-앤-홀드 증폭기를 사용하였으며, 넓은 입력신호범위를 처리하기 위한 이중입력의 차동증폭기와 함께 래치 단에서의 통상적인 킥-백 잡음 최소화기법 등을 적용한 비교기를 제안하였다. 또한, CMOS 기준 전류 및 전압 발생기를 온-칩으로 집적하였으며, 디지털 출력에서는 새로운 버블 오차 교정회로를 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 ADC는 0.18um 1P6M CMOS 공정으로 제작되었으며, 1GS/s의 동작속도에서 SNDR 및 SFDR은 각각 최대 30dB, 39dB를 보이며, 측정된 시제품 ADC의 DNL 및 INL은 각각 1.0LSB, 1.3LSB 수준을 보여준다. 제안하는 이중채널 ADC의 칩 면적은 $4.0mm^2$이며, 측정된 소모 전력은 1.8V 전원 전압 및 1GS/s 동작속도에서 594mW이다.
