The purpose of the study is to develop an index for basic management diagnosis of domestic industrial crafts companies. After the verification processes aimed at experts working in industrial crafts companies, the index of basic management diagnosis that has been researched and developed so far was turned out to be inappropriate to investigate the management of industrial crafts companies, in which the organized management system is not equipped due to their small-scale business environment. It is because the current index of management diagnosis was designed for diagnosis from the functional perspective. Therefore, in this study, the new index of management diagnosis was developed in order to diagnose the management of industrial crafts companies from the process perspective. This index is divided into three elements of Plan, Do, and See, which represents the management process cycle with focus on activities of industrial crafts companies. In addition, through literature study and Focus Group Interview (FGI) based on this index, detailed aspects and items of diagnosis, and checklists were emerged. This index of management is designed for the basic management diagnosis of industrial crafts, and it is possible to figure out management problems from diverse perspectives. For further research, the effectiveness of the index of management should be verified through diagnosing the management of industrial crafts companies and grasping management problems from varied perspectives.

Increasing of number of people who suffered from long term chronic diseases which required frequent daily health monitoring and body check up in conjunction with the trendy uses of mobile phones and Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) in various ubiquitous computing had make portable healthcare system a well known application today. A mobile phone based portable healthcare monitoring system with multiple vital signals monitoring ability at real time in WSN and CDMA network is developed. This system carries out real time monitoring and local data analysis process in the mobile phone. Any detection of abnormal health condition and diagnosis at earlier stage will reduce the risk of patient's life. As an extension to the existing model, a pre-diagnosis management system (PDMS) is designed to minimize the time consuming in pre-diagnosis process in the hospital or healthcare center. An alert is sent to the web server at the healthcare center when the patient detects his health is at critical state where the immediate diagnosis is needed. Preparation of diagnosis equipments and arrangement of doctor and nurses at the hospital side can be done earlier before the arrival of patient at the hospital with the help of PDMS. An efficient pre-diagnosis management increases the chances of diseases recovery rate as well.
Malignant pleural effusions (MPEs) are the second leading cause of exudative pleural effusions after parapneumonic effusions. In the vast majority of cases, a MPE signifies incurable disease associated with high morbidity and mortality. Considerable advances have been made for the diagnosis of MPEs, through the development of improved methods in the specialized cytological and imaging studies. The cytological or histological confirmation of malignant cells is currently important in establishing a diagnosis. Furthermore, despite major advancements in cancer treatment for the past two decades, management of MPE remains palliative. This article presents a comprehensive review of the medical approaches for diagnosis and management of MPE.

Renal nutcracker syndrome (NCS) is the entrapment of the left renal vein between the abdominal aorta and superior mesenteric artery. Although uncommon in pediatric patients, early diagnosis is crucial to avoid potential severe complications, such as anemia or renal vein thrombosis. NCS presents a variety of symptoms, most commonly including "Triade's symptoms"-hematuria, proteinuria, and flank pain. Diagnosis and treatment include invasive and noninvasive management, although due to a lack of pediatric clinical studies, management is widely variable. Conservative diagnosis and treatment are recommended as a first-line option for pediatric patients; however, invasive surgical treatment may be recommended based on symptom severity. This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of NCS in children to better understand the widely variable incidence, occurrence, and management from early on to allow for early-onset management.

The purpose of this study is to develop the self-diagnosis methodology based on process for improving the effectiveness in public institutions service and to suggest it. For this goal, we would like to select the management methodology which can be easily handled from the viewpoint of working personnel in the public institutions and make it as a process. First, the strategy for the public institutions and the strategic task for practicing it are acquired using BSC (Balanced Score Card) which is now under the active research. At this time, the relative degree of significance is derived using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) which is conducted for the professionals and management to get the degree of importance in the strategic tasks. The acquired relative degree of significance and the figures related to the performance of each strategic task derived from the subsequent questionnaire are used to get the final highly efficient strategic task through IPA (Importance Performance Analysis). In this study, this process based self diagnosis methodology will be explained in detail using the case of Project A in order to verify the effectiveness of the management science technique on the self diagnosis of the public institutions.

In addition, this study provides a method to produce a strategic subject, select priority of implementation and prepare an implementation road map by classifying and filtering management issues produced as a result of management diagnosis in a systematic way. If variables necessary for production of an objective weighted value of scoring and discover of elements for category of diagnostic model and elementary items as well as design of a self-diagnosis questionnaire, measurement of management outcome suggested in this study can be able to be verified and supplemented through case study in the future, it is expected to make the degree of completion as a diagnostic model elevated that may help for growth and development through innovation of medium enterprises.
Since 1995, the facility of class 1 and 2, classified by law had been subject to system of post maintenance management where periodic safety inspection and diagnosis to identify any problems and to take appropriate measures as a matter of urgency. Although the standards and systems had been revised many times for continuous improvement due to surrounding environmental factors, the technical factors and other factors for improvements, continuous researches and efforts are needed to ensure even higher effectiveness. Furthermore, the consciousness of the management body that executes and implements such improvements for facility management is most important. Therefore in this study, through such analysis, more realistic management consciousness review was performed. Also the direction for improvements is proposed, to carry out more effective facility safety management systems implementation.
Purpose: This study was to identify nursing diagnosis-outcome-intervention (NANDA- NOC-NIC: NNN) linkages applied to inpatients in general surgical nursing units. Methods: We developed the NNN linkage computerized nursing process program, which consisted of the 107 nursing outcomes and the 190 nursing interventions linked to the 39 nursing diagnoses. This program was applied to 324 patients who admitted to those nursing units from July, 2004 to February, 2005. Results: First, nursing outcomes of each nursing diagnosis were identified as follows: for 'acute pain', pain control, pain level, and comfort level; for 'risk for infection', wound healing: primary intention, wound healing: secondary intention, and infection status; for 'nausea', nutritional status: food & fluid intake, comfort level, symptom severity and hydration. Second, major nursing interventions for each nursing outcome were analyzed as follows: for pain control or comfort level, pain management and medication management; for pain level, pain management and analgesic administration; for wound healing: primary intention, incision site care and wound care; for Wound healing: secondary intention or infection status, infection control; for nutritional status: food & fluid intake, fluid monitoring; for comfort level, nausea management; for symptom severity, nausea management and vomiting management; for hydration, fluid/electrolyte management. Conclusion: This identified NNN linkages will facilitate the use of nursing process in surgical nursing practice and documentation systems.

Diagnosis and management of skin condition is a very basic and important function in performing its role for workers in the beauty industry and cosmetics industry. For accurate skin condition diagnosis and management, it is necessary to understand the skin condition and needs of customers. In this paper, we developed SCIS, a big data-based skin care information system that supports skin condition diagnosis and management using social media big data for skin condition diagnosis and management. By using the developed system, it is possible to analyze and extract core information for skin condition diagnosis and management based on text information. The skin care information system SCIS developed in this paper consists of big data collection stage, text preprocessing stage, image preprocessing stage, and text word analysis stage. SCIS collected big data necessary for skin diagnosis and management, and extracted key words and topics from text information through simple frequency analysis, relative frequency analysis, co-occurrence analysis, and correlation analysis of key words. In addition, by analyzing the extracted key words and information and performing various visualization processes such as scatter plot, NetworkX, t-SNE, and clustering, it can be used efficiently in diagnosing and managing skin conditions.
